"What's the matter? Wifey's upset that you brought a gun to bed?"

Even though he heard the man's voice, he was nowhere to be seen. A faint pain came to his head, subsiding as quickly as it came. Before even learning of being an angel, Henrik had thought he was losing his mind with his constant thoughts of violence and graphic dreams. If he had known that things would get this bad, he would have saved that judgment for now. Henrik wished he had some kind of mental disorder but he knew that was not the case. He looked over at the small table beside the bed where he kept the revolver, reminded of the stone that Danel had once given him. Henrik could only wonder if a gun like this would be able to seriously harm or even kill an angel. Somehow, despite its size, Henrik feared that it would not be enough.

Henrik turned to look over at Iris who had already fallen asleep. Even though he knew his powers were causing her to continue to grow more ill, distance hardly seemed to be a factor anymore. It had slowed things down for awhile but as he got stronger, the effect only seemed to worsen. The only thing he could do now was stay close to her and make sure nothing else harmed her. With one last glance at the time, Henrik figured it was time for him to get some rest. He pulled the covers over Iris, as they had been moved from her tossing and turning, and soon joined her in sleep.

At least, he tried to sleep. The voice only returned that night with only condescending works to mock him. Without a visible source to turn his anger to, Henrik did his best to ignore it until he drifted off as much as he could under the circumstances.

The package couldn't have arrived at a better time. With all the chaos going on in a neighboring country, albeit overseas, a weapon like this might prove to be invaluable. Though it was strange that it arrived so quickly. He hadn't expected it to show up until at least another week. As soon as Henrik tore off the packaging, he noticed something odd about it. The gun hadn't been placed in some random box. It seemed that his cousin had neglected to tell him that it already had a case of its own. The exterior was wooden and crudely fashioned. It was probably made by its previous owner given the nature of the gun itself. As the man said, hardly anything remained from the original revolver. Almost every piece was custom made.

Henrik tilted the revolver in his hand, examining the ivory grip. It still looked as pristine as when the man had last used it but he wasn't sure how that was possible. He also couldn't help but feel like he had held it before. It was more than that. Henrik felt as if he had just reunited with an old friend. He placed the revolver back in the box, feeling uncomfortable about it. Inside the box, along with the gun, were a seven extra bullets for it. They took up a good deal of space considering that it was a .50 caliber revolver. The gun itself was also fully loaded--"Wait a sec. What do we have here?" Henrik looked at the chamber and raised an eyebrow. Four out of the five chambers had been loaded. The fifth instead had a piece of paper stuffed into it. He pulled it out and opened it only to find that it was completely blank on both sides. It didn't look particularly special but he decided to hold onto it anyways. Maybe...

"I don't like having a gun in the house." Iris spoke from beside Henrik.

"Same. But until I get stronger, much stronger, this thing over here is going to be much more effective."

"Effective for what?" Iris asked. Even though she had not objected to Henrik's practice with his abilities, she was hardly comfortable with the thought of what he was planning to do with them.

Henrik nodded slowly, knowing Iris was hinting at something more. "Just for protection."

Not sure what I want to do with this song yet. Two separate ideas in one sample of what I'm working on may or may not be a good thing.

'Mor? That's hardly a threatening name for a Dire Wolf.' Of course, as a pet, its owners probably did not want a violent-sounding name for the animal. As Kendric waited for Celeste, the last of the bunch left on the other side of the fence, he began to worry. She was taking her time. Just before he could call out for her, the wolf jumped over the fence and would have landed on top of him if it had not been for his own quick reflexes. He dropped his blade in the process and scooted away from the wolf. "Good doggy." He muttered before shooting a glance at Celeste as he picked up the sword and stood back up. "Well there goes ten years of my life." Kendric added in as he pressed his hand against his chest as if to keep his heart from bursting out. He looked around at the empty yard then towards another fence.

Now that he thought about it, this may not have been his best idea. Any number of civilians could just easily spot them and call the police. At least if they moved quickly it would be difficult for the police to surround them if something like that happened. So on they went, moving quickly from one yard to another as Kendric directed the group towards the edge of the city right until they made it to the furthest yard, or rather, the furthest one they could invade without going into the streets. As Kendric peeked over the last fence separating them from the streets he noticed a few officers roaming about the streets. Some on foot, some on bikes. If it had been Wendel, there would have been several flying around on dragons. Luckily, they weren't in Wendel.

Kendric looked at the others for a moment. They couldn't just run past the police and head out into the open desert. They would be spotted immediately. Of course the dunes would provide cover...but they would have to get that far first. Right now, they needed a distraction. His first thought was to use Mor, the wolf, but he couldn't bring himself to suggest such a thing. Surely the wolf would be likely to get shot and ultimately wouldn't buy them that much time. His next thought was magic. Even if they used it to get a headstart the police would just follow them into the desert the second they pinpointed the students. "Hm. We're close but there's police on the other side." Kendric rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Make a run for it when you guys see the streets are clear. You can practically see the desert from here. Run and don't stop."

"I'll get their attention. I should be able to draw in all of the law enforcement in the area." He smiled at the others. "Don't argue with me, alright guys? I'm plenty fast to get out alive." Kendric looked at Celeste, knowing she was the type to worry the most. "I'm not going to die. I'll meet up with you guys once things settle down." Though truthfully, he wasn't sure if he would draw in more than just the police. The other adults were still looking for them and Kendric knew if they found him--Well, he didn't have time to worry about that. He went the opposite direction of the group, heading back through several yards. If the others tried to persuade him not to go he didn't hear them. They wouldn't stop him. Once he was far enough, Kendric began to release his energy, acting as a beacon to call in all the attention he could get. He only hoped it wouldn't get any of the other groups caught.

In a way, this is based off a concept of physics. Entropy. In layman's terms, a measure of disorder. The natural world prefers to move from a level of low entropy to a level of higher entropy. Normally, it is not possible to decrease entropy of a system, at least not without increasing entropy in another system. The universe prefers chaos. It will tend towards it. You can try to reverse it but ultimately you can't fight against physics.

Of course, physics is not subjective like "good" and "bad". But I guess you'd get the idea.

Chaser is a throwback to the KH2 secret ending. Changing it for something as generic as Keyblade Master hardly seems fitting. Besides, us premiums can change our usertitles. If you've been here long enough(or spammed enough) to make it to premium, it won't be hard for you to find the option to change it. If you can't find that, do you really deserve to be a prem? XD

Pancakes. That was nice and easy. All he had to do was watch out for accidentally burning them. Iris was in another room as Henrik offered to work on something to eat. Surprisingly they weren't too hungry though he knew that at least Iris had to eat more with how her health had been. This gave him something to do, something to take his mind off the images he had just seen. As Henrik was turning to reach for for something to flip a pancake over another's hand held out a spatula. Him. Henrik staggered back, accidentally pressing his palm against the hot surface of the...thingy that was hot. Henrik didn't know the right term for it. He snapped his hand back immediately and looked at it. No burns. It barely hurt.

"What's the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"I can't be still asleep." Henrik muttered as he rubbed his hand.

"You aren't." The man smirked. "But I am." He looked around the kitchen and took a few steps forward. "You know, I tried this once." Before Henrik could ask what "this" was he answered with, "A life. A normal one." The man looked over at Henrik. "She's going to die you know. Directly or indirectly, it'll be your fault." He shook his head. "I don't believe it's possible for a human to survive the birth of something not quite so human."

    "You mean-"

"Yes. That's what I mean." Henrik pressed his palm to his forehead as the man spoke, feeling a familiar pain return despite him not having used his powers that entire day. "Oh boy, the things I could tell you." Henrik took another step away from the man. The pain was only getting worse with each word he said.

"Don't beat around the bush. If you know something just tell me and get it over with."

"If I did that, there's a high chance you'd be seen as a threat to them rather than a puppet. If you get stronger, if you survive long enough, I might tell you something useful." Henrik pressed his hand against the counter for support. He wanted to ask the man how he could get stronger but no words came. The strain on his mind was just as bad as the time he tried moving a car and he could not figure out why. "How would you get stronger? Come on, Danel gave you a clue already. I think you already know the answer to that anyways. And..." The man looked over at the stove. "Don't let those burn."

"Henrik! Are you okay?" Iris was now by his side. The man had vanished without a trace and Iris seemed to have not even seen him. Henrik stared at Iris and nodded slowly as the pain began to subside. "I heard your voice and thought you were calling me. Then I saw you like this and-"

"I'm fine." He sniffed the air. "Though I can't say the same for the pancakes."

Henrik knew it was a dream. The same one he had yesterday. This time it was more than just clear. It was as if he was there. No, he was sure he was there. The man was older, at least he appeared to be with streaks of white hair on his head, but Henrik was certain not much more than a year or two had passed. Stress was something that seemed to age people faster. Perhaps this man's lifestyle did this to him. Or it must have been something else...

The layout of the house they were in told Henrik that this was his old house. It had been around for so long that it was impressive that in the present it was still standing in near perfect condition. The man was arguing with a blonde woman. He couldn't hear what they were saying even when he moved closer. He could see but not hear. Henrik stepped closer to the blonde woman. She was about the same height as Iris. She even had the same eyes too. Henrik looked over towards the man and back to the woman, trying to figure out why they were fighting. He couldn't help but want to defend the woman even though he had no idea what the argument was about.

The man drew his gun causing the blonde to step back, her eyes wide with fear.

"Put that down!" Henrik shouted, knowing he would not be heard. There was a flash but no sound came with it. The woman clutched her stomach as blood poured over it before falling, lifeless. "Iris!" No, it wasn't Iris. He knew it wasn't but even as he knelt beside the dead woman he couldn't help but feel as if his own wife had been hurt.

"Why are you so worked up? She died before you were born."

The man was now looking at Henrik. He looked at him, wondering if he had just imagined what he had heard. Henrik's eyes gazed down at the woman's body and began to shake as his hands were now covered in blood. Her blood. "Why?"

    "Does it that even matter?"

"Of course it matters!" Henrik snapped, spinning to face the man. "How the hell can you even see me?"

"Hmph. The better question is why can't you see me?"

Henrik growled. "I can see you. You're standing right there." He pointed at the man.

"You see a man but you do not see the angel. Araquiel. It's amazing you haven't died with how weak you are. Borrowed strength has dreadfully low limits." The man lifted his hand to look at his wrist as if he had been wearing a watch. He tapped at his wrist. "Look at the time. You really should be waking up right about now."

    "Not until you answer me!"

Henrik's eyes opened suddenly to the sight of Iris leaning over him. Henrik blinked several times and slowly sat up. "Ugh..." He looked over at the time. He had slept well past lunch. He looked over at Iris who looked to not have changed out of her nightwear which told him she had overslept as well, only she had woken up before he had. He rubbed his eyes. "Guess this means we're having breakfast for dinner, huh?"

Well it's counting down to September 16th it seems. Unless I miscounted. Way too early for KH3. Wayyyy too early. I'm not sure it's legit. I've been trying to do a little research on the site and I don't believe it's anything official from Square. Almost certain this is a fan project. Especially with all the English floating around.

PS4. Last I checked, it was a more powerful console than the Xbox One. When the full specs were first announced the PS4 completely dominated the X1 in pretty much every way. Though now things are a bit more leveled, I'm still going for the PS4. It's just out of preference. Rumbling triggers doesn't really add anything genuinely new but it does sound cool(referring to X1's controller)...but the Dual Shock 4 has a clickable touchpad which, although we haven't seen much of it in action, sounds more practical. It actually adds another thing developers can use to directly be implemented into gameplay. Also, I prefer Sony's exclusives. Too bad those exclusives won't include KH3 or FFXV but I'm fine with that.

Kendric scratched the back of his head as he thought it over. Grace was right. The dog was trained. It even seemed to recognize Grace and already took a liking to Celeste. It bothered him that they would be taking the family pet after Artan's death but it wasn't as if they would be gone forever. Kendric planned for them to come back after they cleared their names. Though he wasn't sure how to go about that without getting caught.

"Alright, fine." He quickly said. Back where he was from, wolves like this were hunted and not often kept as pets. Dire Wolves tended to be quite dangerous when they traveled into domestic areas and provided no end to problems to farmers. "Come on wolfy." Kendric called it over as he approached the back fence. The wolf did not pay him any attention as its attention was fixed on Celeste still. 'Right. She's a shapeshifter. Animals always take a liking to them.' The only reason the wolf hadn't gone over to Zauriel was because Celeste had gone to it first. He figured that he would let her order the dog around for now. "Come on. Don't use your magic. The police would probably pick up on that." Kendric hopped over the fence, his natural athletic ability coming in handy for once now that he did not have to worry about keeping his nose in the books.

They were in another backyard. From memory, Kendric guessed that just two or three more yards would be needed for them to cross before they were out in the open. They needed to stay clear of the larger streets. There was no doubt those would be blocked off. "Think that wolf can jump a fence without knocking it over?" He hadn't thought about it until now. Kendric could only hope that the wolf wouldn't make too much noise...or come crashing through the fence.

Just as Henrik was about to lose his temper on Alistair for having brought Temeluchas over, the other angel revealed herself and attacked Alistair before immediately taking him away. She wasn't too pleased with how Alistair had been acting and, in a way, Henrik was grateful that Alistair had behaved in such a way. If he had behaved himself, Temeluchas would have likely not shown herself and revealed that Alistair was working with her...or at least that his interests may not have been the same as Henrik's own. His clenched fist relaxed and the mist that had began to grow at his feet vanished.

Seeing Temeluchas use her powers on someone else gave him something to refer to in order to gauge his own strength. Henrik knew he still wasn't a match for her but that wouldn't be the case forever. He knew he would get stronger. He had to. Henrik turned around to head back inside, closing the door behind him. There was yet another story for him to tell Iris that would only make her uncomfortable. Almost as if on signal, the phone rang after Henrik had told his wife what had just happened. It was his cousin calling to tell him that the package had been sent. Henrik thanked him and promised to repay him before they said their goodbyes.

"It's late." Henrik muttered as he looked out at the window. Time had gone by faster than he had expected. Frustrated, he decided it was time to get some rest. Each day that passed seemed like he managed to get less and less time practicing done despite the opposite being true. It wasn't enough. Not nearly enough to get where he wanted. Surely, the next morning would be better.

Henrik had mostly recovered from his earlier efforts and had already begun heading towards the door when knocking came from the other side. He shook his head slowly. 'What now?' He opened the door to find Alistair waiting on him. Henrik stepped outside before speaking.

"What is it?" He asked bluntly. As interesting as the idea of someone else being in his situation was, Henrik's curiosity had its limits and he had not been convinced that trusting or even listening to Alistair would be worth his time. He rubbed the back of his neck before crossing his arms. He shifted uncomfortably in the sunlight, wanting to go back indoors where it was darker. Out in the open he couldn't help but feel a little bit paranoid.

    "That was stupid of you."

    "I had to try."

"It weighed over two hundred times the heaviest thing you've moved. You could have killed yourself." Iris lowered the towel from Henrik's nose, looking down at the crimson soaked fabric.

Henrik took the towel from Iris and tried to stand only to find himself losing his balance and leaning on the wall for support. "I'll try again later." He muttered lowly. Iris scowled as he closed his eyes, trying to push the pain out of his head. Admittedly, it was stupid of him to try something so extreme without working up to it but he believed that if he pushed himself further beyond what his current limits were that he would have somehow succeeded. Of course, even without his powers, he wouldn't have been able to move a car without hurting himself.

Ringing came. It was different than that in his head. It was the phone. Before Henrik could attempt going for it, and risk falling in the process, Iris left his side to answer it. She walked over towards him and held the phone out. "It's your cousin." Henrik nodded and took the phone.

"Did you find anything?" The answer he had expected came. His cousin had found it in nearly perfect condition and, of course, was entirely surprised to have found that such a gun had been waiting there all these years without anyone having ever stumbled across it. His cousin asked how Henrik would get his hands on it without getting into any trouble. "I've got that covered." Henrik told his cousin. "There's just a few steps I'll need you to follow."
