I am absolutely frustrated at this point, but I do not want to quit. (In my first walkthrough, I just never bothered and completed the game.)

On October 20, 2014, I started my second walkthrough of Crash Bash. Because I was doing a few projects simultaneously back then since last year was the year I had that resolution to upload at least one video every day, there were some gaps between recording sessions/upload times, but those were essentially planned.

These are the challenges I cannot complete:
    1. N. Ballism Crystal Challenge
    2. Pogo Padlock Crystal Challenge
    3. Sky Balls Gem Challenge
    4. Sky Balls Crystal Challenge

Interestingly enough, though, I was able to do #1 and #3 on my first walkthrough, though I'm sure they took forever. The trophy challenge for N. Ballism on my current second walkthrough was bad enough. Earlier today I actually got really close with #3--two of my three opponents were taken out and both I and the remaining opponent had one "life," so to speak, left. One more pinball in either of our goals meant one of us would win--unfortunately, it wasn't me, and I wasn't able to get that close again.

These are not my videos, but they will you give you an idea of the challenges:

Edit: Probably doesn't help that I've only tried again probably only about 10 times since January. I've tried a few times within the past week or so, but because it wasn't as high a priority as my other projects, I kind of forgot about it and only tried again once every couple/few months.

Took the day off from college to go with my mom to Issaquah for one of her prep appointments for her hip surgery in early November. It was a nice drive, except for the idiot drivers here and there.

No. Should let it be out for a while so most of the bugs are worked out.

    Thanks.

I use a different method as seen above--it's actually how I learned it studying for my GED. A very basic example: what is 25 percent of 100?

    x over 100 = 25 over 100. 100 * 25% = 2,500 / 100% = 25

It's worked for me for the most part, it's just these two that got me. According to the book, it's amount of increase or decrease over base equals percent over 100%--essentially the same thing, they just do it a bit differently by going the longer route and isolating X, whereas I don't.

I guess for these two I was just missing a step? $7.20 minus $6.12 which equals $1.08 and 100% minus 35% which equals 65%--and, actually, the book showed that, too, in its example question, where it had a 40% discount, but they used 60% in the equation. So my method was fine, I was just forgetting a step.

You know what? Reading at least the second question I got stuck on again, I feel incredibly stupid. It was obvious I needed to subtract by the wording, "has been discounted 35%." What's the obvious indicator in the other one, though?

The other questions were slightly different.

A table lamp regularly priced at $12.59 is on sale for 30% off. What is the amount of the discount? What is the sales price?

    $12.59 * 30% = 377.7 / 100% = 3.777

    The discount is $3.78 and the price is $8.81 ($12.59 - $3.78).

    @Iskandar, @Incognitus, @Mixt

We're finishing up percentages, which are my strong point, but I'm stuck on two.

The price of silver went from $7.20 a troy ounce to $6.12 a troy ounce during the past 6 months. This represents a decrease in price of what percent?

I get 14.16%, but the book says 15%.

    6.12 * 100 = 612 / 7.20 = 85 / 6 = 14.16666666666667

A tent is on sale for $32.49 and has been discounted 35%. What was the original price of the tent?

I get $92.83--$60.34 difference--but the book says $49.98--$17.49 difference. And for this one, I even looked at the instructions and I did it correctly from what I can see. There was an example with the exact same question, just different numbers.

    32.49 * 100 = 3,249 / 35 = 92.82857142857143

As I was at college at the time, it didn't affect me personally, but the power was out for half the city for about an hour earlier here. A bird decided to be stupid and fly into a transformer.

I'll be a nice guy this time and not get as upset, I guess.

This can be locked. I think something at the college prevented it from connecting to the time server properly. I just synchronized it successfully here at home.

    And that's funny... why?

Seriously, I'm sweating at that temperature. Sometimes not even 72 is enough for a while.
