What the **** is Gamespot doing? I do enjoy these characters, but it kinda kills any hype when they are "confirmed" this way.

Peace Walker was my favourite on that collection, even if Big Boss was just a tad overpowered in it. MGS3 is amazing, but I find it to be a very difficult game to replay.
It's not like there's really not much to do. The plot is the same as MGS1, right? Just copy and paste it with real actors and what not and you're set. Most of the soundtrack is even done.
They might as well go along with it, since the cat is already out of the bag... was that Sly's level 3 super? In Raiden's introduction video? That's kinda weird. Raiden looks pretty badass, but he seems pretty tough to master. And about that stage... Well, I've never played Ape Escape, so I might be completely wrong, but is that a teleporter? It could be set up so that it just shows characters/elements from various franchises briefly, before the chimera pops-up and breaks down the stage to reveals either New York or wherever Resistance 2's climax took place. Or it could be something else entirely, I'm just giving out a potential idea.
What an odd way to reveal such a big character. They didn't even release one of the "Here comes a new challenger" videos for him? Was this video not meant to go up yet or something? I am really wondering who will be "revealed" at PAX, if it will be characters already confirmed like Raiden/Evil Cole or two new characters.
