I play games to enjoy them too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to throw out every shred of critical thought because of that. If a game is good, then I probably won't talk about it much, because talking about games you enjoy is boring. If I don't enjoy it though, I've got no problems with talking about why they're bad. The plot of Mass Effect 3 wasn't really that good, due to all the silliness (Kai Leng) and what not. The sidequests had absolutely no purpose in the game, so you can just throw those out the window. Gears of War has a plot as well, and the quality isn't that far off that of Mass Effect 3, really. You are not judged on effort in this industry, you are judged on quality, which TOR had very little off. Didn't help with how much of an ass Bioware were to the people playing the game either. If you're simply arguing that DA2 had fun gameplay, then I guess I can't argue with you. Even games like Never Dead had "fun" console gameplay. Bioware won't be doing well after the disaster that was TOR, the amount of money they spent on that, which will never be recovered, is just ridiculous. EA will kill them off soon enough, or make them milk Mass Effect and make nothing else. This is also part of the reason why people don't want Valve to be owned by EA. This is what happens with their companies.
Sounds like someone is getting their opinion off of IGN. The Old Republic was the biggest blunder of last year, Mass Effect 3 was a Gears of War clone and Dragon Age 2 was an awful game with both horrible gameplay and a bad storyline. Bioware is already dead.
y u hat
You've just gotta pick up the pace, that always fixes any times of morning sickness.
>Implying that Ben was one of the original members That guy signed up after I was permabanned, he's just a kid around these parts. I say good riddance, we don't need these relics anymore.
Go back to whore island
It would be pretty cool to have an entire chorus just nyaning away
I'm surprised they didn't go through with it, considering how Valve seems to enjoy working with EA, handing them money for physical copies and what not. They're like a match made in heaven, one company scams their customers, puts horrible DRM on their games and the other one loves to churn out games very often and does some shady things to sell more games.
Ah, these are always lovely, last year really didn't feel the same without these. Congratulations to all the winners (but not the runner-ups).
They could just be strict on the age limit. Besides, any kiddy that wants to get a hold of a blade easily can.
Those are really cheap, does that mean that the actual blades are fake?
I'm not entirely sure if that's fake or not, but it looks off to me. Like Drake, he looks majorly weird in that image, but hey, we'll have to wait and see. Don't forget to mention the very sad news that Abe from Oddworld didn't get in because SuperBot don't read their mail.
Nah, I've only been in one RP and that was a fair few years ago. I quit it because it wasn't my thing.
Some people just want to see the world burn, she's probably one of them. Doesn't matter about the quality of your RP, she just wants everything to...
Totally. But hey, what are you gonna do? That's just how some people are.
They really want the "'MURICCA" crowd with this one, I see. They're really taking it too far though, but I guess that's why it seems to be specifically aimed at American television.
This will be a nice way of playing the original game, as I know a lot of people missed that one, but loved the second game. I only got the second one, but it was pretty good, so I might get this one if it comes out in Europe.
...
Huh, I must have missed that. Fair enough then. My preference is actually similar to yours here, however it can be nice with some variety on how it works. One party member instead of several can be nice. Of course, I say variety when one of those games will never be released in the West and the other one will never come out.
It's nice to see that the original way wasn't the only one, but this does still seem very scripted in my eyes. I mean, he called out to Ellie towards the end, since he didn't know where she was. Does that mean there's an Ellie button? This does show a lot of promise though, but I can't help but feel iffy about this and the game in general. However, I'll give it the benefit of doubt since it's developed by the more talented Naughty Dog team.
