If you take their eyes first though, it would be difficult for them to get yours. With the blindness and all.

I mostly use mine to try and win games. Also to send nice messages to developers/publishers I like.

I would love to get a chance to talk positively about FFIX, but this just isn't true. Not only does XIII-2 not have random encounters, it's also a much shorter game, so it won't be as jarring in the long run. But even then, the battle transition in FFXIII-2 are four seconds long, where as IX's are a whopping 16 seconds.

I agree man, but this was at the time when the Gooch was at his craziest. It was around the time he was directing Spirits Within.

The SNES ones were, sure. But the NES ones didn't even have an ATB gauge, so naturally he had to slow it down really badly to appeal to those, yo.

I've played the PSN version too, it's still the same. IIRC, I remember reading something about Sakaguchi specifically asking for them to slow down the combat (both the transitions + how slowly the ATB filled), so that it would be more similar to the old Final Fantasy games.

Those are the ones I meant. It had some insanely long loading times when entering combat. It also had the most random encounters of the PS1 games, so that's not a bonus.

A big part of the game is actually the new game+, which adds a lot to the game and I am almost certain that reviewers never touched that before their review went up. I could write up a pretty big thing, but I need some sleep. This is pretty good at conveying why Nier is great.

True, but TAY mostly just lived off of the hype from FFIV. Whereas Nier was one of Square's few new console IPs this gen, it probably left a bigger impression about what westerners want than TAY.

Daily reminder that Nier's protagonist was 44 years old, with a great party in general. If you didn't buy it, you deserve your teen party.

Her new heels are clearly hooker heels. But they look just as good on Samus as they did on Bayonetta.

After Years is clearly the strongest contender for the winner here. The other games can just pack their bags and go home.

I'd be down if other people are. Haven't played in a while, would be nice to check how my FC is doing either way.
