There have been so many 'Awww' moments when Atlas talks about Stardust, it's hard to pick just a few. XD Speaking as someone who spent a LOT of time listening to poor Atlas try to get up the nerve to tell her about his feelings (literally, I think it was MONTHS between when he first confided in me that he had feelings for her and when he finally managed to TELL her) I have shipped them for a long time now, and there were so many times that I literally fangirl squeed whenever he said anything adorable about her. This is so sad and I'm actually crying. :( But I just want to say that what you're hoping to accomplish is an amazing and incredibly worthwhile thing to do with your life and I wish you the best! I know you and I haven't had much of a chance to get to know each other the way you've gotten to know some of the others, but you've been such an integral part of this site for as long as I've been here and it's just not going to be the same without you. I'm going to miss seeing you around, Plums! Take care of yourself, and may you succeed in everything you set your mind to! I know you can do a lot of good for the people out there, and I'm so glad to have known you.
Midny, I've been doing more practice than new skills. I don't start a new skill until all my other skills are strengthened up to being gold. If even a single skill isn't gold, I don't start a new skill. XD And then even after that I hit the general practice thing a few times so that I can make sure I know it. XD
So last night I suddenly realized at like 11:50 PM that I hadn't done any Duolingo yet so I hurried through a few practice rounds to just barely meet my goal for the daily streak. XD And tonight I'm planning on going to a game night after work so I'll probs end up doing the same. XD I only have one day off this week, and I have to clean my house that day, so... I probs won't be that high on the leaderboard this week. XD Also, Chris, you just started whatever language you're learning, right? You're like some kind of genius about languages XD
I've done Basics, Basics 2, Phrases, Food, Plurals, Animals, Food 2, Possesion, and Tu/Você (which are both different forms of 'you.') I'm taking things slowly and practicing each thing over and over again until I'm really getting it, before I move on to the next thing XD I'm having a bit of trouble with 'Tu/Você' because it's hard to remember when to use what XD
