Catching sight of Luna heading towards him, she had only just missed him, as he made a very rough landing. Still set mystically ablaze, he patted down his armor and rolled around grudgingly on the grass to try and extinguish it. His keyblade had reverted to it's original form before hitting the ground and deteriorating. His arm was sore as he picked himself off the ground from a very heavy hit. He had never felt such a feeling of failure.
He couldn't convince Aux, he couldn't rescue the princess, and his party had look of doubts. Karina had even approached him with a look of discontent.
"I am sorry I failed you guys....I am not strong or fast and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want me on your team anymore."
He looked to Luna who was still airborne, and Shapur who was still be the forest's edge. Dopey by this time, had rushed to his fellow men in hopes that their injuries weren't too severe.
"But that's why we need you," Krowley slowly replied. "That's why we need everyone. We're not strong enough, and the more they underestimate us, the better our chances of really reaching our maximum potential." Krowley had reached a point to stop doubting himself and start inspiring hope. He had a very lonely past, but his academy had made him improve. He was part of something that could make a difference now, and he wanted to make sure the forces thhey gathered were ready and willing to fight for the light.

"They still need 6 more princesses which mean 6 more shots to stop them. Wherever they go and whatever they do, we'll find them eventually and bring back the world to it's rightful order. Such is the way of the keybearer..."
"You dern well better!" Krowley had spun around to find Grumpy slowly limping in anger. The other dwarfs, too had regained some consciousness and were helping each other up. "If that little prick hadn't gotten the jump on us, we would''ve gotten our axes and-"
"Grumpy, that's a stuff, I-I-I mean enough," Doc interrupted. "So, you'll find her then?" he asked softly.
Before answering, he looked back to the others.
"Not sure about you guys, but I won't rest until I've set things right. I still need answers and an explanation from Aux. But until then, we have to wrap up here." He was now talking to all seven men directly. "Does anyone know where I can find-" Krowley stopped in the middle of his question by a tugging on his arm. He looked down to find Dopey ever so giddily smiling and reaching into his heavy pocket. He pulled out bits of scraps, dirt and jewels, until he came across what he wished to show him. He revealed a small, jewel encrusted keyhole, no bigger then the size of his hand.

Nequa held her hand to the side of her helmet, showing a gesture to make it appear like she was listening. "Such a sweet sound."
By this point, Aux had just finished securing the casket. Ensuring it was safely fastened, he turned to his partners. "The princess is ready for delivery. We musn't keep him waiting." From outside the barrier, Dopey looked onto Snow White with a saddened expression. All the other dwarfs were still motionless or barely able to move.
With the maiden prepped for departure, Aux turned to the party on the other side. "It is best advised to steer clear in our future affairs." Though he spoke to the group as a whole, Krowley felt a distinct nod to him in particular. Why lead them there just to ward them off? And what if he actually didn't send them that clue? That still left the mystery of another party unsolved.
Nequa gave one final stretch before agreeing to head out. Instead of summoning a keyglider, she chose to flee through a dark corridor. "Another time, rookies." Vanitas too, opened an individual dark corridor, but not before begrudgingly turning to Aux. "This discussion isn't over."
With all but Krowley's former comrade gone, the barrier began to slightly weaken. Unfortunately, everything was already in the antagonist's favor. A load roar spread from his vehicle as he revved it up. "Forget your bond. Abandon any hope you have of trying to stay within the light... You'll be better off."
With one final rev, his vehicle set off the ground towards his open corridor, behind him, the trailing casket.
The reflect spell had now fully worn off, giving him the incentive to dash forward. "AUX!"
With not even a second thought, he summoned his own glider. Any respect he had in awaiting the others instantly vanished. He just wanted to reach Aux. He needed to talk him down and try to reason with him. He was too close to let him escape.
With the added wait from the human sized carrying case, Krowley had almost managed to catch him. Though from the corner of his target's eye, he was spotted.
Aux spun around in his seat and held out his left arm. With as little compassion and emotion as he could, he spoke out; "Dark Firaga." A fury of dark flames extended from his fingertips against Krowley, knocking him back down in a spiraling descent.
"Hmph." Aux spun back to a driving position and fled through his dark portal, taking the princess with him.

"Funny... Like watching birds hit a window," Nequa laughed.
"Whatever, let's just go. I'm gonna have a long talk with you know who."
    "Agreed."
"AUX!" Krowley cried out. All three turned to face them. "Oh hey, you didn't tell me Aux's dog was here. Always following him everywhere."
"Yeah, little bug's been giving me a hard time. If not for the master's rules, he would have been heartless chow." He turned and aimed his next comment at Aux. "Or maybe you would have liked that pleasure?"
Aux stood silently and ignored his question, though deep down a part of him was still conflicted on what to do should he keep interfering.
"We should depart..." he replied, attempting to change the subject.
"Why... Why lead us hear just to leave! I thought maybe you were helping us, but now I'm just confused."
"What's he's talking about?" Vanitas asked.
Krowley persisted to try and convince his friend. "The letter at Deep Jungle's keyhole. That was you, wasn't it?"
Vanitas turned his head slightly in aggravation. "You did what?"
"I assure you, I had no part in whatever he is suggesting," Aux replied. They both were eying each other through their masks in a matter of concealed dislike of one another. Vanitas' distaste for Aux's lack of darkness always had him skeptical.
"I knew sooner or later you'd go running back to the light, but this soon?"
Once again, Aux stood silent and brooding.
"Well this is all well and good but mister boss is getting impatient and so am I," Nequa pointed out as she was trying to divert the mission back on course. He character was often the playful one, but managed to become somewhat serious whenever the other were around. Almost as if to show them up.
As Aux proceeded to cautiously place the princess in the casket, Nequa turned to Vanitas. "So short stack, what happened to the queen?"
"She headed back to her castle, why? She has no further use to us."
Nequa summoned her keyblade. It was tall and slender like her body build with a dark red and black color pattern. She began pinpointing it into the castle's distance replying; "Exactly."

    ***

Exhausted and tired, the haggish queen had made it to her castle's courtyard seconds before Aux's decent. "At last *gasp* I remain the *gasp* the fairest in the land! AHAHA--" She began hacking from her elderly throat and stopped to rest once more. She looked at her wart filled hands with a most horrible expression. "at least I will be... once I reverse this potion's effect." In a paranoid mindset she looked back to the forest, noticing the keybladers were nowhere in sight. "Ah.. so the boy did keep them occupied. But why?"

"Hehe, you were his distraction." a high pitched figure said in the shadows. His face could not be seen, and stood at barely 2 feet. His body was shrouded in a brown coat and spoke with a very suggestive tone.
"You again? Be gone with you. I've accomplished my goal."
"Yes, yes, but what now? They will find you, hehe, yes. And KILL you!" he replied giddily. "My lord offers his hand to assist, please take it."
"In exchange for what? Loyalty in his own gain. I am a Queen, I need not beg for another's assistance. I have completed what I set out to do." She stood from her rest and continued on. "On my own I have rid myself of Snow White and can finally rule as the fairest," she laughed. Her laugh soon escalated into a cackle of joy.
    "Ahehehe, AHAHAHAHA!"
In the middle of her cackle a large thunderbolt struck her from her head, turning her shriek into a cry of pain for the magical thunderbolt had fried her out of existence. The diminutive figure was left shocked, so to speak, at the sight he beheld.
"She.. She's gone?" He stared at the ashes that lay before him. "This changes things. Hehe," he proceeded to scamper off, leaving the pile off smoking ash.

    ***

Back at the cottage, Nequa pointed her keyblade towards the castle, replying; "Exactly. And she's no keyblader making her free game." After carefully aiming she shouted out; "DARK THUNDAZA!" A flash of Dark lightning struck the castle grounds, where a loud and petrifying cry followed the crackle of the thunder.

    1. I think I originally knew you as a friend of Noroz and with the name Kam-Sage. You seemed friendly enough.
    2. Helpful with a fun personality. You seem very open and don't mind putting yourself out there in things like podcasts. Overall I would say you appear comfortable with who you are.
    3. Does not exist. I love certain horror films for certain reasons, whether it be the gore, plot twists, or ability to make you jump out of your seat. Some of my favorites include Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, and Dawn of the Dead.
    4. I believe a story is only as good as it's villain. They are the driving force for the hero and have the best songs. I love their reasons for being evil and the psychological torment that makes some want to achieve their own gain. The harder they are to defeat, the interesting they are.
    5. Gargoyles. Twilight ruined that debate for me.

    1. Can't say I've gotten to know you much, but from what I see from you and most of the other staff, you are kind and friendly. You do well in your duties of keeping question time afloat (Though I resent you for asking the Impressions question :D)

    2. Again, whenever some one asks for my favorite in something, I cannot simply give a straight forward answer. I eliminate any villain who's in it for the money or gold, since it's been done to death. Those who want power are a little more flexible since their path to gain it is fairly intriguing.

    Top 5 females:
Maleficent: Top of many lists, just because of her sheer power and the patience she has to see her vengeance through. She was willing to let Prince Philip live and release him as a bitter old man. This woman will make you suffer.
Cruela De Vil: Woman is willing to kill puppies for their fur. While not diabolical, that is pretty damn ruthless to get a new wardrobe.
Ursula: I like her for her power and sheer manipulation over a 16 year old mermaid to get revenge. All the lives she's ruined are seen as polyps in her own garden. Like any business dealer, once you sign the contract, she owns you!
Lady Tremaine: While she may not have magic powers or piles of money, she manages to ruin the life of 1 girl so evilly. Just the power she has over her and the brutal abuse of making her do all the labor. Plus that evil stare... (Mother Gothel also fits into this are, but while she does it to stay young and beautiful, Tremaine does it just because she can)
The Queen: The lengths this women went to to stay on top of the Hottie list is unbelievable. While her queen form is a bit menacing, it's the old hag she turns herself into that really pushes her to scary. Especially how when she stares directly at the viewer. She wasn't Diabolical, but she was the first Disney film villain, and played it off well enough

    Top 5 Males:
Jafar: His sinister presence and the fact that his sorcery and cunning got him so far in his plan. Was hoping to see his snake form in Kingdom Hearts, but I'll settle for the genie one.
Gaston: Mostly because He's like the Hero: Redux. He's such a narcissist and so full of himself, it's hard to hate him. I find it so unique that it's because of rejection that he becomes the villain.
Frollo: Corrupt religion is so risque for Disney, but Frollo does it well. His inner conflict with temptation, lust and what is right is engaging and he is voiced by Tony Jay, (Loved him as Megabyte) He doesn't want power or money, he just think's he is fulfilling his riteous duty. Also that Hellfire number...
The Coachman: The man turns kids into donkeys and uses them as he pleases. He lures them to a theme park and then never let's them leave. That is just sick. (Man who uses children, how is he not in kingdom Hearts yet?)
Hades: Technically a God, but I count him in the Male category. He cracks wise and seeing James Woods voice on a villain was different in a way that worked. He goes about like a very convincing businessman and is flawed for the belief that he has no flaws due to his godhood. I enjoy him not for his cruelty, but for the fun he has trying to rule it all.

    Top 5 Non-humans:
Shere Khan: Not so much a villain, but just abiding by his animal nature. Yet, the fact he knows he is some one to mess with and the fact everyone else does to just really riles up his reputation as some one to be feared.
Scar: another power hungry villain, Scar does a lot more to get it though. He allies himself with Hyenas, Kills his own brother and does whatever he can to take his position as head of the pride. Again, has a great sophisticated voice, and will always be remembered for that once tone changing scene.
Ratigan: Voiced by Vincent Price (Who is one of my favorite Horror Icons) he is assumingly a tribute to Professor Moriarty, Sherlock's rivaled match. His calm and sophisticated demeanor is challenged whenever he is called a rat, so seeing the beast within is what takes his villainy up a notch.
Chernabog: Doesn't even need to say a word since he's pretty much a representation of the Devil. The thing that really sells him is the music that comes on as he awakens from his slumber. After that it's just cause as much hell as possible. No motive, No gain, just spreading evil for the sake of spreading evil.
The Horned king: I favor this villain just for his skeletal form and his commandeering presence. the atmosphere he gives off is simply bone chilling (No pun intended)

    3. When I was 12, I was feeling pretty bored with life. School was unfavorable and home wasn't very appealing. Just a repetitive cycle.
One day, I passed a man who looked like a drunk bum sat against the wall. Out of curiosity, I bluntly asked him if he was homeless. He replied that he wasn't but might as well be. I sat across from him and we somehow ended up talking for a long time. Can't remember the exact words, but he said something like "Life is a *****. She'll knock you down and do whatever she can to make you miserable. But if you don't brush it off every now and then, then you give that ***** the satisfaction of keeping you down." He continued to say more drunken tidbits of wisdom and before I left, I asked his name.
He said his name was Mr. Crowley. Not sure if that was actually it or he was just an Ozzy fan, but I accepted it. He then shook my hand while putting a dollar in it. He said "Don't wait for change, make it." Final question I asked was if he was drunk. He replied that he had been sober for 10 years and I never saw him there or anywhere else. I just adapted the name because I liked the way it sounded and the meaningful conversation I had with him. I still have the dollar he gave me.
    4. That's a new one. You may only use it 5 times. Use them wisely.

    1. Previous and current are roughly the same. Friendly with those you meet, you have fun and are an excellent addition to the KHV community.
    2. Only if we have a good theme.
3.It was recommended that I try since I sent in a lot of news that year. I don't think I will build a future off it. Just something to keep internet community fans informed.
    4. Nope. But if there was, such beauty would not be apart from me for so long.
    5. I like the Abott and Costello bits, a swell as other Straight man/Funny man routines. For slapstick, I really liked the way Looney Toons pulled it off.
    6. the knowledge that I have nowhere to go but up.
    7. a) A World Map: It has several pegs on it of target destinations. I am not at liberty to reveal the locations.
    b) Megamainx: A 12 sided puzzle with 50 movable pieces. I am happy whenever it is fixed until some one messes it up. Then I take the time to repair it to it's original state. The sides are colored Beige, Pink, Light Purple, Purple, Green, Blue, Cyan, Red, Yellow, White, Lime Green, and Orange.
    c) A R.O.P.S.S.A.A medal: My Rugby Medal that was won when I played on my High School team. It has the ROPSSAA logo with a red ribbon.
    d) My Simpsons Mug: A Yellow Mug with Homer Simpson on one side and the Simpsons logo on the other. I use it sometimes just to store things, but on occasion use it for actual beverages
    e) The Skeleton in my closet: His name is Lou and he is something I only recently imagined. He likes Jazz and is pretty sexist. Lou says Hi.
    8. Not a question, but good to know.
    9. Begin a Musical number and take it to the streets while having random strangers accompany me.
    10. I do on occasion.

    1. Guy likes Pikachu.
    2. Haven't spoken to you much (Or many other members) but you like your Pokemon, Doctor who and Harry Potter. Fan of roleplaying and courteous enough to apologize if you have been away for awhile. So friendly and humble I suppose to summarize.
    3. On this site, I think it was Xert's "The Red War."
    4. I wanted to make something for multiple fans of the series to participate in. Something massive with a solid battle system and many explorable worlds and features. Just something fans could participate in together and explore the possibilities.
    5. Ice cream Sandwiches are yummy.

    Much Obliged.
    1. I'm fine, just answering these questions that seems to have taken longer than expected :/
    2. Not really :D But I don't mind as I like to stay up and think and do more than the average person.
    3. In roleplaying, Many ideas, but I really want to Advance STRANGE first.
    4. I believe I saw you first as Dinamplified. I found you very creative and fun from just observing.
    5. With the before impressions already added, I see now the many artistic talents you hold for some one your age (I still suck at photoshop.)
A very eccentric and avid fan of a certain DC Character and fun to roleplay with.
    6. Because of the people I meet
    7. Just High School graduation. Trying to make money to head into secondary Education.

Krowley followed the others in a straight forward dash. Vanitas could be seen in plain sight next to the keyglider that appeared from the sky. The party grew closer and closer and just as he was prepared to leap at them. At the time he jumped, a loud voice shouted; "Refleza!"
Krowley got knocked back a few feet from a quickly summoned barrier. The magically coated force field surrounded the cottage's entire perimeter.
"About time, even Aux got here faster than you." Vanitas said to the magic caster behind him. Nequa stepped forward from behind the cottage, revealing all 3 apprentices to be in the world. At that moments, Aux ducked from the tiny frame of the house to the clearing with the princess hanging over his shoulder.
"The princess is prepared for departure and the novices are free for abduction. Feel free to subdue and contain when you are ready," Aux reported.
"Change of plans. The boss man said no more kidnapping. Just more heartless creation and princess finding it seems," Nequa replied.
"Good, now I can finish these nuisances once and for all-"
    "Still can't target keybladers."
    "What?..."
"Yeah, apparently, they still hold value. Can't touch 'em, only distract."
Amidst their arguing, Krowley arose, dazed. Feeling like he had just run into a brick wall, he slowly used his keyblade to carry himself up. With slightly blurred vision, he stared at the 3 behind the barrier. It was here where he finally confirmed what he hoped wasn't true. The keyblader he was looking for made company with the force he was against. "Aux.." he quietly said.

    1. I think I originally found you with the username "Arbok," so with little to ride on, I mainly pinpointed you as a pokemon fanatic.
    2. I see you now with select tastes in video gaming and a very organized record of many of your internet doings. I notice you are eager at the chance to be involved with KHV, and a very loyal active user, which is a respectable quality.
    3. I like the color Blue for many random reasons. I sea in the sky, the ocean, and just enjoy anything with a cold or tear colored tone to it. as for a number, I favor the number 6. Unsure as to why, but I just like the single digi.
    4. Healthy: Apples. Though enjoy slicing them up and eating them piece by piece instead of just biting them.
Unhealthy: Doritos. Cheesy and crunchy, they are my "Go to" snack choice.
    5. Food: Milanesas. I like homecooked food, so when my mother showed me how to make this breaded treat, I make it whenever I can.
Drink: Water. I enjoy my carbonated drinks and beverages, but water is something I know everyplace has. Nice, cold water is what gets me through the summer.
    6. Normally this would be too difficult for me to answer, but I think I'd go with the a Wizard's staff. A Warlock's staff is good and all, but I like my AOE and other spells that a magic user needs in this day and age. Favorite Non-staff would be the Scythe/Gun from RoosterTeeth's RWBY video. Could do massive damage with a close to mid ranged weapon like that.
    7. Favorite game: The first Kingdom Hearts with Birth by Sleep making a very close second. The 2002 game is what got me enveloped into the following of the multi-platform series. Also has one of my favorite video Game endings. Favorite character is Aqua. The series first playable female character and a magic user to boot, I loved this character's design and fighting style. (As I've said, I love the blue) Though her English voice actor is little to be desired.

    1. I first remember you as V@nit@s, so with that to go on, I saw you as a fan of Vanitas. (Most of the original Impressions will probably go like this)
    2. You've faced a lot and strive to continue on. What didn't kill you, made you stronger. You like your literature, roleplaying and Pokemon.
    3. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I was introduced to it after watching the 1931 film since I adore watching classic media. The book however, made me love the story even more. The very concept of the plot to be seen today made me favor it for it's unique tale that would lead on to many adaptations and inspirations. I love the whole "Who is the monster and who is the man?" vibe it presented.
    4. Gandalf and Dumbledore. Unsure who the victor would be, but it's something I wouldn't mind seeing,
    5. I think Moonrise Kingdom should have won Best Picture (Musical or comedy) instead of Les Miserables. Not saying it was a bad adaptation, just not outstanding as a whole.

Grumpy was knocked back hard against a tree. He, along with 5 of the other dwarfs lay sprawled on the ground, unable to move.
"Guess I had to do it my way," Vanitas said winding his arms. "You little guys make for good practice though... Now I know I counted seven of you, so where's the last stump?"
At this time, the party was edging towards the end of the woods, still fairly worn from the last battle. since the Queen had headed in the opposite direction, Vanitas must have sent them on some sort of chase to buy time. So was the Queen just a distraction to lead them away? Even then, why not take them out or capture them himself? He seemed more than capable, so why resist?

    ***

Back at the clearing, A large dark corridor opened up in the sky. Overflowing with darkness, a large key glider was seen coming out of it, with a large glass casket attached to the rear. The rider was shown to be Aux, controlling a motor-cycle like vehicle forged from his keyblade. He circled the clearing once before setting down.

    ***

"What just came out of the sky?" Krowley asked. It was a far distance and he couldn't identify the rider, yet he feared it was the person he presumed to have been looking for back in Deep Jungle.

    ***

"What took you so long? And what's with the lack of heartless?" Vanitas scolded. "I minor miscalculation resulted in the termination in that experiment. Though I brought the carrier in which you requested. Is the princess prepared for departure."
"Yeah, all passed out on the floor. Now go pick her up before 'they who must not be beaten,' grow wise."
Aux approach the house, passing all the defeated men on the ground. He paused and turned to his comrade.
"What? I left them alive, didn't I? And it's a bit late for you to start growing a conscience isn't it?"
Aux remained silent and continued to apprehend Snow White.

    ---------------------------------------------------

With Kross being the final one to leave, Thumper sat with his mouth open. "This whole time, they were-"
    "Yup." he calmly replied.
    "Did you know about this?!"
"No.. But I'm not mad at them. They helped out despite being human."
"Things got so weird, so fast. You think we'll be alright?"
Bambi smiled and returned to the animals to find them shelter.
"You know, a straight forward answer once in a while would be nice!"

    KHV's Top 10 - #4

Hello to all loyal and newly joined members. I'm Krowley; one half of the news group team on this lovely site you visit. Due to the shortage on recent news, the staff has permitted me to start up a new little project that everyone can take part in! "KHV's Top 10" is a biweekly countdown of members' top 10 choices regarding subjects related to kingdom hearts. The subject in question can vary from characters, places, objects, etc. As for how the subject if decided upon, this could be based off recent Kingdom Hearts News or popular requests. (If anyone has a favored topic, feel free to suggest one!)

Instead of hearing staff's boring opinion, members are able to chip in their own ranked selections that will be tallied and averaged at the end of the time frame. At this time, either Mike, or myself will post a new topic after the previous results have been announced. That's right, Mike has graciously accepted to take part in this now, dual project. We will each by doing 1 countdown per month so there is always a chance to have your opinion heard!

Every two weeks, an announcement thread will be set up to reveal the topic for those two weeks. If you wish to have your say, simply send your own top 10 picks via Personal Conversation to the Reporter who is currently hosting. Your choices should be ranked 1-10 (1 being the top pick) and must be sent privately, not posted in this thread. Why send it privately, you ask? This is to keep things anonymous and more anticipated instead of easily predicted.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week's segment is dedicated to past worlds seen in the series. Anything from the 2002 game to Dream Drop distance is up for selection.
NOTE: Worlds vary in their differences, and certain exceptions (Prankster's Paradise/Monstro, Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden) count as separate worlds due to their level structure and design.
