I know that they don't appear in the same spot right after the other, as long as I'm not getting my info confused.

Okay, after double-checking, I was right. They appear in certain worlds and areas, and you'll get the message that a rare heartless is in the area. Once you find them, and if you either get the items or if they run away, they'll go to the next spot on their list. It's only a few, but I don't know if it's a pattern or not. The areas they appear are:
Agrabah - Bazaar
Halloween Town - Christmas Town
Land of dragons - Checkpoint
Beast's Castle - West Hall
Olympus Coliseum - Cave of the Dead Entrance

I don't know if that's the order they appear or not, I've just found them randomly

I'd have to say it's worst when you have the boss nearly dead after how many stages and your pets or sibling decides to do something stupid and knocks your system down messing up the game or unplugging your controller and the game decides to keep playing. True story btw, happened at least twice I can remember.

Then there was the time when I had a boss on the ropes, was guarding, survived all other attacks, I had full HP, and in one hit I ended up dead.....kinda annoying

Maybe they figured that a lot of people would already have a 3DS and would just buy a new one so they could have the extra stuff? It's not a good idea, but hopefully they'll learn from it after this, because there's going to be plenty of complains. I have managed to trade in an old DS of mine though without the AC card, but I can't remember why. Like you mentioned though, they probably should just switch to micro-usb ports so anyone can use whatever charger they have lying around. Though the electrical output might be a considering. I doubt anything would give too much energy that it'd fry the system, but there's also the chance it doesn't give enough energy to help at all. That happened with my PS2 once when movers lost the cord and I tried using a universal one, but it didn't give enough energy to power the system at all.

I knew that, but I never bothered since I figured if I was going to use a Drive form, even if it was Anti-Form, I'd take out as many heartless as I could. Though the attack that always got me with the controls was when you attack and you sort of float for a second and go in a whirlwind and attack from all sides. Wonder how well it'd go if you went into Anti-Form in a boss fight; I wouldn't know, since I've never tried it. Guess it depends on the boss too

I've been to Disney Land, but not World, and even then I still don't remember too much since it was so long ago. I would love to visit Disney Land, but I'd need money and time off...and friends to go with....we need a KH-vids field day

Well, I think I understand why it happened, but it's still stupid. The teacher for the three classes I'm taking works for two schools at once, since WCJC and Houston of Sugarland share that campus, and sometimes things get fought over with classes and such, but it's ridiculous they would change it that close to the start of the semester. Now I have to go in to work today and find out how much of an annoyance this has cost

I'm buying this new 3DS since it's going to have games playable on it that won't be on the older version, like Xenoblade Chronicles for one, which I really want to play now. And before anyone mentions the Wii version, I don't play Wii. Plus the second analog stick will make it easier to play some games that could play with the circle pad pro, saving you a few extra dollars. I was planning on getting the XL version anyways, so I don't have a problem with what they're doing. It's not like it's much of a difference anyways besides size, and I don't really see why that's such a bad thing and why people are complaining about it being the only option
