The unversed had cleared off with Jake taking one final chest kick to a small flood unversed. As it dispersed, with the mouse's final blow, he tipped his hat up and took a deep breath. "Now those are some mighty angry animals... Nothing I couldn't handle of course but definitely not native 'round these parts." He brushed off any remaining dust on his jacket and hopped back to the others. "Actually a good way to get a bit of exercise, while awaiting transportation." As he finished his words, a large wombat came scampering to their side. "Wombats... only way to travel, am I right?" He paused hoping one of them would agree. "Ah, what do a bunch o' Yanks know anyway?" He fastened the side of the wombat and held out his hand very gentlemen-like. "Ladies first."

"I'll do what I can," he replied enigmatically. The sounds continued to honk louder and louder with Krowley racing back and forth between guarding the elephant and silencing the heartless. His heartbeat began to quicken and his eyes shifted beneath his goggles. A few bubble notes were jumping around him, firing bubbles with very odd properties. Quickly evading them, he pivoting and slid under the obstacles before executing a combo on the creatures. He would have like to finish them off with Thunder, but his current spell set was fairly novice. During his journey back from the future, he lost most of his skills and magic and was now the same level as his new keyblading comrades. Back in the battle, he slashed repeatedly until the heartless vanished and the heart it took floated to the sky. cheers continued to rain from the crowd.

Really enjoy some of the creativity and work people put into their costumes instead of just buying them. It's hard to make such outstand-ish costumes look legitimate.

"Curiouser and curiouser," Basil mentioned, astounded. "The smaller reatures that twitch and twerk with bright yellow eyes and notable antennae. almost reminds me of something near the Idiocerus family of genus. The mid-sized ones seem to resemble a form of militia, and the large... Well that could very well be the most bizzare ornament, if I ever saw one" The heartless shadows began to grow in numbers and had managed to have the group surrounded.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

"To have gained this type of foreign assistance. Almost as foreign as your unclariffied identities," he asked mentioned suspiciously eying the party.
"Basil!" Dawson yelled as the heartless closed in on Olivia. With little hesitation, the detective rushed past the heartless to pick up the girl. "Can't lose you yet... you are still needed for this investigation." Noting their weapons he signaled Dawson to follow in the directions of Fidget's footprints.
"Since these chaps don't seem to be very good fencers, I will allow you to dispose of them as you clearly have the equipment in doing so. Remind me to have a better look at that later." He put down Olivia and told pushed her to follow Dawson. He slowly began to jog after them, but turned to yell back. "If at all possible, be sure to save one. I wish to study one of them as well!"

Quickly catching up to Dawson and Olivia, he smirked at getting closer to Ratigan's plan.
"I say, are you certain they won't need any help?"
"Nonsense my Dear Dawson. Their reaction and execution tells me they have dealt with these fiends before. They are certainly no ordinary London mice, which intrigues me further... But first, we track Fidget!"

Summoning his keyblade, Krowley ran along the carpet in which Dumbo was still being stalled against. Locking on to a flare note he summoned his keyblade and began to knock it down a few pegs, the poor elephant was tripping over his ears, making it that much more difficult to defend the pachyderm. "Blizzard!" he yelled out, dimiinishing the fire heartless, The squeaks and sounds of the loud creatures had already begun to annoy him, making it all the more satisfying in taking them down.

The thing I enjoy about horror films are the lasting appeal it can cause. If I watch a horror film that didn't frighten me, it may not necessarily be a bad film, but has somewhat failed in it's genre. A truly memorable horror film, in my opinion, is one that re-installs fear and makes one think. I love films that work with a foreign concept and turn it into nightmare fuel.
The teen slasher flicks might not be as scary are serious as some critics prefer, but it does reflect the lack of maturity some younger participants would have in eerie and/or life threatening situations.

Fear, terror, shock, disgust, the very essence of horror that a film brings to the audience. That is my definition of a successful horror film. Not just a killer with a gimmick and some startling fake outs, but something far... far worse. If the antagonistic threat in the film is as scary and life threatening as the protagonist characters claim, I want them to make me believe it. Not loud, over the top screams. I want that look. The look that some one gives when they have seen the face of evil, and that deep down they know, that their lifeline has just become a dwindling statistic. Testing your perception on reality and bluffing the human senses.

I love most horror films and consider myself a great fanatic in the genre. The genre itself has tested the limits to what can scare the viewer, but sometimes, something as innocent as an eerily inviting smile can be enough to create fear. Just stare at it long enough... Feel the smiling face stare back into your soul...

Some time later after some deliberation and conversation, courtesy of timothy Mouse, the show was about to begin. Timothy was behind the curtain with Dumbo, who was very timid at the time. Dumbo was very shy and being the main focus in front of all these people didn't help. Krowley and Shapur gazed from the same curtain as the ringmaster took center stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen... we will now present for your entertainment... the most stupendous, magnificent... super-colossal spectacle. On this tiny... little, insignificant ball... we will construct for you... a pyramid, not of wood, not of stone - but a living, breathing pyramid of ponderous, pulsating... pulchritudinous pachyderms" The ringmaster spoke in a very thick Italian accent, and really drew in the crowd. He was under a single spotlight, and surrounding him, were the elephants who were gossiping about dumbo previously. "I give you the elephants!" The crowd cheered and music began to play. One by one, the enormous elephants began to mount on top of one another, carefully balancing themselves onto a 5 foot rubber ball. "They're almost ready now, Dumbo. Don't forget to wave that flag." Using his trunk, the little elephant waved it back and forth. "Okay, okay. Don't wave it no more. I saw ya! Now wait for your queue." This was the little elephant's chance to make something of himself, and as scared as he was, he let out a cute little smile.
" And now, I present the world's smallest little elephant... who will spring from this springboard- in one spring... to the top of this pyramid, waving his little flag... for a grand CLIMAX! Ladies and gentlemen... I give you Dumbo!" The small curtain opened to reveal the wide eyed Dumbo, frozen.
"What's the matter with you? Dumbo! That's your cue! You're on, Dumbo," Timothy urged. Unsure of what else to do, the small mouse took out a thin point and pricked the elephant into running out, unbeknown to him that a new act had entered the ring.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

"Who are these shmucks? They ain't part of the program. Look like a bunch of horns without the clowns. Just ain't right I tells ya."
"They're not part of the program," Krowley mentioned in a panic. the little elephant was running out and heartless were surrounding the arena. The audience clapped, assuming it was part of the show. they tooted at Dumbo, scaring him and making him serpentine back and forth. "Hey, what's the big Idea!" timothy yelled out,
"We'll take care of it," Krowley reassured.

    ~MISSION START~ II. Climax

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Sewerline

Ratigan looked back at the young mouse with interest. "Oh, I've found the little girl's father," he replied, continuing to inhale his cigarette. Exhaling with a grin he continued; "In fact, I've found great use for him in my latest scheme, hmm, hmm. And rest assured, I've sent some one to help reunite the two of them." He took another quick puff. "I wasn't aware Basil was accepting interns now, but I'm afraid I only have time to kidnap one child today..." From his coat pocket he took a small bell and rung it a few times. From the ground, heartless appeared in increased numbers. Ratigan chuckled. "Marvelous, aren't they? Much more proficient than my previous henchmen. as great as my bestial knowledge is, I have no idea what species they are, but to be frank, I could care less. They are obedient little shadows." He looked down to the twitching heartless and gave a cutthroat gesture. "Dispose of him elsewhere... Oh! And in case your primitive mind had yet to piece it together... I am Ratigan..."

    Back at Basil's

Fidget was scurrying around the house in an estimate that the little Scottish mouse was out seeking Basil's help. He peeked his large snout by the windowsill in which Olivia was sitting quietly in Basil's large chair. Breathing heavily, he was unaware of how loud it was. Lightning striked, revealing his outline, and caused Olivia to scream. This made Fidget startle and drop, but not fast enough for Basil not to notice. "A-ha! the fiend makes his appearance! Quickly Dawson, we've not a moment to lose!" they rush outside to find that Fidget had already fled. Basil looked around and knelt down to look at the sidewalk, where Fidget has left behind his muddy footprints.
"No sign of the blackguard anywhere," Dawson sighed.
"Not quite, Dawson. He left some rather unusual footprints. They obviously belong to the same fiend who abducted the girl's father. Ratigan's peg-legged lackey Don't worry Miss Flammerhammer, your father is as good as found!"
    "Flaversham!" the small mouse correct.
"Whatever. Now all we need to do is follow the tracks, and that scoundrel is as good as ours. Come along Dawson."
    "Y-you want me to come?"
"Ha! I should think a stouthearted army mouse like you would leap at the chance for adventure"
"Well, heh, heh. I am rather curious. But uh, what of these gentlemen," he motioned, pointing to Aden and Raisor."
"What of them? Oh, yes, well... I suppose they can come along. Who knows if something needs to be... carried or something. Besides we're already bringing along an 8 year old, so a couple of young men don't exactly hurt our chances."

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Phew!" Jaq said, exhausted as he carried in the last piece of material. The material was wrapped vigorously around his waist, and the mouse had to shimmy his hips to get it to slide off. Kicking it to the side near the dress, he looked to the other. "That one not easy to get, No no... Jaq had to jump on dresser, den da couch, den da other dresser, den use ball a yarn, den hop on ruler and balance to bookshelf, den..." the mouse went on in a mixture of words for a few more moments on his exhausted journey through the wardrobe room. He looked down and noted that everyone had found the right materials. "Zugk-zugk, we got everything for Flinderelly's dress."

"Hmm... still missing something," he said, wondering to himself. "Still needs... pretty pretty pearls," he added looking at Cinderella's drawing. Jaq tried to get them yesterday, but... Roos-a-fee..." he said shuddering. Mean cat-cat break necklace. Now pearls are all over da house!" he sighed. If Kel-kel, Etree, Runa, and Steer find da pearls, Jaq can finish up Cinderelly's dress" he motioned ecstatically. "Roos-a-fee should be sleeping downstairs, but be carefee!"
