...do people keep calling me ma'am on the phone?! Is my voice really that feminine? ;__;
Ako fell to the ground, holding his stomach. He glared at herm trying to balance himself. "I was making the job easier for us, idiot," Ako grunted out. He knew better than to get up right away. The fact that she was able to be up on her feet so fast made him feel shaky.
Ryoko listened carefully to her elder's words. She had seen Mito throughout the village on many occasions, but had never been this close to her. Watching her, it was obvious that she was in complete control. As Mito left, she was thinking back to the story she just heard, "What a romantic story," Ryoko commented before finishing off her bowl. "Another please!"
To each their own I guess. I liked it because it just told a really good story and is a lot more competently made than most other horror films. It actually made me jump the first time I watched it, which is rare for me and scary movies. And the fact that it is pg-13, and can be effective as it was, is amazing in my eyes, Plus, in an industry that is very over saturated with slashers, it's good to see some variety.
That's not fair, though. It takes time to build up a story. For example, I just saw the movie "Win Win", which was a really good movie. The first ten minutes though we're slow. There are a number of great movies that take their time to tell a story, I guess you have to do that though, since we live in an instant gratification kind of culture. Some people just need to learn to be patient and watch a movie. I'm willing to bet that at least half of those people who wanted their tickets back are also people who were on their phones during the movie.
So, all of them left within the first half hour? Don't they know that in most horror movies, the good stuff happens well into half way through? Don't they know anything about story telling or three act structure?
I guess it was wishful thinking for it not to happen. I mean, to me, Vivi didn't seem like someone who was mean, but just liked to joke around. People poke fun at me all the time, and I'm okay with it. Why can't people take a joke. There's a HUGE difference between making jokes and picking on someone. The line isn't as thin as you may think. This is what I think when people say "I'm being picked on" when it's blatantly obvious that they're just joking.
Kiss Ass 4: Electric Boogaloo
I leave for ten minutes to see if the hospital had any good movies and I come back to this? Explain!
He's a competent director (Drag Me to Hell) and he was a producer on the American Grudge films! Which weren't totally bad (the first two were really good in my opinion, and the third one was bad, but is enjoyable)
Are theaters even able to give refunds? And it's a "horror" movie that was released in August; what did they expect out of it? I've heard mixed reviews, and I have yet to see it, but I am curious about it only because I still have trust in Sam Rami.
Kind of confused by what you're asking. Do you just want the correct game order or to explain the story of the games? You have the right order thus far in what you played. Coded takes place right after Kingdom Hearts 2, not directly after, but right after in the story line. Dream Drop Distance follows probably almost immediately after the events of Coded. But if you want someone to explain what happens, especially with what you find out in DDD...
Ako was surprised by how fast Yasuzu got from waking up to threatening other shinobi. He could tell that she was strong, but he didn't know how much her body could take. He then turned to Rei. "You are your own master, so you can make your own decisions," he told the girl. "Others will be coming to take you away. I don't want to, but if our hand is forced, we may have to force you to come with us. If you come freely, I will still keep my promise to make sure no harm falls to you." he then made an obvious glance at Yasuzu. "And my friend needs you too," He then turned to face Kaito, a dagger in hand. He motioned for Yasuzu to put down her weapon. It was his turn to fight, if that was the waterfall shinobi's intentions.
Ryoko's older sister instinct was starting to kick in again. She continued to eat, but had a sharp eye on Ryuu. She then smiled when she saw Mito arrive, hoping that someone older would know how to deal with Ryuu, or at least knew how to get the two of them apart. "Good afternoon," Ryoko said to Mito before she started drinking down her broth.
Shuya stopped in his tracks just before he would hit Charlotte. The smell of blood and death filled his nostrils as he watched the stranige man monologue. Shuya felt like gagging, but he was able to hold it in. "I take it this isn't a new feature of the dog races," Shuya joked to Charlotte.
Ryoko was very happy to make it to the shop. Before the to boys. When the food was put down infant of her, her mouth started t salivate. This would definitely help make fill up her stron appetite. "Thanks for the meal," Ryoko said out loud before splitting the chopsticks in half and digging in. "I usually go home and do some studying. My dad makes me train for two hours a day. I guess I should thank him for working me so hard, or else I wouldn't have made my cl--" Ryoko stopped herself, trying not to hurt Tetsuya's feelings. "...or else I wouldn't be doing as good as I am." He cheeks felt warm; the noodles had the perfect consistency and the broth was very flavorful. SE knew that one bowl wasn't going to cut it for her today. She then turned to Ryuu, who she hadn't seen have any of the noodles. "Hey, what's wrong? Not hungry?"
For 9/11, I decided to do a listen through Christopher Titus's "The 5th Annual End of the World Tour". A lot about what he says revolves around how the aftermath of 9/11 affect him personally, as well as how he saw it affected the United States as a whole. I really love the jokes in this one, and it's one of my more favorite comedy albums. The thing with Christopher Titus is that he always has some kind of deep, thoughtful message inside of his shows. For this show, he talks about how bad things happen in the world that we can't control, but the one thing we can do is live through it and try to be better people because of it (he also talks about his dad's passing a few months prior to the attacks). I'm not able to find a link to the show on YouTube, but it is definitely something that is worth listening to.
Thanks. :D It seems like the doctors are on top of the insurance stuff, so hopefully I'm out soon.
Yeah, I figured most people would, which is why I clarified my reason for wanting to see her. The show isn't my cup of tea, but I enjoyed the game very much.
I'm really hoping the doctors will finally dismiss me from the hospital sometime this week. They are allowing me to go home, but u will have the picc line in my arm, with it being connected to the mirinome drip. The drip is portable, and they say I can go anywhere with it. The only problem is that we are having problems with my insurance okaying the portable drip for me, which may take a few days, but the con is this weekend. I've been looking forward to this convention all year. Tara Strong (Lollipop Chainsaw), Quinton Flynn, Mark Hamill, that guy who voiced Mikimi in Death Note. I didn't think that I would be able to go in once I landed in the hospital, but now it looks like it may be a reality. And all of the panels just made me want to go there even more. Anyone from KHV going?
