With Eon's final slash, Ratigan was pushed off the rotating gear and plunged down below. He let loose a short beastly scream as he tripped over his already torn cape. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Basil was the first to rush over to where the rat had fallen, only to find that he was no where in sight. Only his echo remained in the vastly mechanical clock tower. His foe had been defeated, and Basil let out a deep sigh now that his never ending rivalry had ended. He really was hoping in his mind that this was all done and ended with. Mr. Flaversham was still tied in the center of the gear, as Basil trotted over to release the mouse. About to release him, Hiram gave a grave look on his face, and was sputtering muffled sounds beneath his bandana-tied mouth. Confused, Basil calmly attempted to remove the fold. "There there, flabberjacket, everything's alright now." he delicately removed the tie on his body accompanied by the one on his mouth in time for him to shout; "Basil, behind you!" Basil turned as Ratigan knocked him down. The rat was still alive! Basil rolled and caught the ends of the rotating gear, trying to pull himself back up as Ratigan prepared to deliver another blow. Flaversham bit his hand, causing Ratigan scream in pain, giving Basil the opportunity to climb up the gear and seize the professor's cape. Using his disproportioned weight to his advantage, Basil tangled it between two gears. Ratigan dropped the toymaker to hold onto his cape to keep from getting strangled, but kicked the old man off the gear. He fell, landing on a much larger gear, connected to another one that will crush him in a matter of seconds. Thinking quickly, Basil jumps from the gear and onto a lever, which lifts up a chain towards him. The final keg is approaching Hiram as Basil gets closer. He desperately tries to flatten himself against the gear as Basil reaches his hand up. Basil seizes his arm just as the gears connect, as the chain continues to lift them to the top of the tower. Down below, Ratigan's face is filled with anger. As he watches the pair make their escape, his sanity snaps, and with a burst of strength, he tears his cape in half, freeing himself. Basil and Hiram stop at the hole at the top of the tower, where Olivia and Dawson awaited them. Knowing Ratigan, Basil had to make his escape. Ratigan was completely consumed. Gone is the egotistical gentleman. In his place is a terrifyingly dangerous monster. Running through and around the many gears, his clothes becoming torn and ragged in an attempt to stop them. "Now would be a good time for transportation," Basil nudged at the remaining keybladers. Unfortunately, ratigan's blind rage had caught up to them, aand he leapt onto the striking hammer, nearly falling, but scrambled up and leapt forward. Basil turns just in time to see Ratigan leap forward to tackle him. Basil let out grunt as Ratigan caught his midsection and the two topple downward as Ratigan is still holding onto Basil. He tries to grasp the top of the tower, but between the rain and Ratigan's weight, he can't get a good grip. They seperate as they fall down the face of the clock. Midfall, Ratigan grabs Basil again, and they hit the hour hand. Basil is sent flying across and lands, his upper body laying over the edge. His vision blurred for only a second, he moves back. Ratigan is no where in sight as Dawson calls out to him, approaching the edge of the hand. "Basil! Over here!" Basil looks relieved, but is barely able to take a single step towards his friends when Ratigan attacks him from behind, lifting him up with one arm. Basil manages to wriggle free and runs up towards the edge, but with frightening speed and agility, Ratigan is there, blocking his path. "There's no escape this time Basil" Basil slid down the hand and tries to put distance between himself and the raging rat, but he is there once more, blocking him. Ratigan holds out his hand and unsheathes his razor sharp claws, hitting Basil twice with such force it sends him flying back. His friends were trying to reach him as fast as they can, but Basil can't hold out much longer. As much as he wanted to be rescued, he knew he had to do this. the final clash between enemies was not easy on him at all a the brute had been passing him around like a rag doll. Before he can even stand, Ratigan hits him several more times, almost knocking him off. Basil climbs back up, clutching his arm in pain. He Looks up, exhausted as Ratigan hits him again, sending him over the edge. Basil holds on to the tip of the hand as the clock's chimes begin to sound. Lightning strikes as Ratigan rears back. At this time, Aden, Eon, and Glen could stand back no more, as they could at least try and retrieve him through aerial means. Summoning their gliders, they took Dawson, Hiram and Olivia down to try to grab him, but the loud storm and intervening Ratigan make things difficult. Basil braces himself, but Ratigan's blow sends him down. They stare in disbelief as their friend plummets to the ground. Ratigan himself almost doesn't believe it, but a cruel smile spreads across his face as he leaps up and laughs maniacally Ratigan I won! However, his victory is cut short... "On the contrary!" Basil shouted from below. The mouse had been rescued by Raisor, who was a little late in showing up, but was quick enough to save him, being the only member without extra weight on his glider. "The game's not over yet!" Reaching in his jacket pocket, Basil rung Ratigan's bell. Ratigan only has time to check his pocket for his missing bell before the minute hand moves to ten o'clock. The striking hammer falls, and Big Ben sounds off. The vibrations force Ratigan over the edge and he falls. This time for good.

Rules (v1.7) Registering for the challenge What is this? Objective: To complete the game with only one type pf pokemonAll this talk of pokemon lately has inspired me to create this;A Challenge to prove your Skill as a Pokemon trainer! As we all know, Gym Trainers are known for using pokemon with a certain type. Well now it's your turn!A member may choose a type they wish to pursue and use only those types of Pokemon in battle.Since starters are only Fire, Grass, or Water, some rules can apply.Note that this is for fun and feel free to take pictures if you can.If I've peaked your interest, feel free to sign up! YOU'RE STARTING FROM SCRATCH. So please don't sign up if you have a problem starting a new game file.(9 Rules, updated if necessary) 1) You are allowed to use whatever Pokemon starter to use until the point where you can catch a Pokemon of your type. "What in the world was that?" Cody asked in surprise. This young Australian boy had seen so much today, that this only added to his bright bewilderment of the day's events. Jake looked astonished, but hid it immediately in hoped of keeping his suave demeanor. "Err, uh... that's some faNcy Yank signal that says it's probably time for them to get going..." He took off his hat and bowed to the group. "I'll admit I had my doubts, but you yanks are alright in my book. 'Tis a shame to see such beauties leave without a farewell kiss-" the KAngaroo mouse held Karina's hand and was about to kiss it, but before he could get the chance, small glimmer of light surrounded them and drew themselves towards the party. Bits of light were attaching themselves like fireflies, eventually devouring the pint sized party until they gave off a blinding glow. Cody's eyes were shielded by Maraute's giant wing, while Jake covered his face with his hat. In the distance, Fang was leaning on a mountain cliff, being able to see the small glimmer as well. She was sitting with her legs crossed, leaning on her lance, at the time, alienating herself from the rest. she gave off a small scoff at the light. "Talking mice, my foot... Knew there was something fishy about them... Just as well though. It's about time I find my way out of here as well." Taken from this, it was shown that Fang was indeed not of this world. Her methods of travel were also a mystery, but she was still searching for something. Taking her leave, she arose from her seating and jumped off into the sunset. By the time the light subsided, the group vanished, leaving Cody, Jake, and the eagle behind. Cody pushed Marahute's wing up slightly to see that all the foreign mice had disappeared. "Where did they go?" Cody asked. Jake shrugged. "Who knows... Probably off to their next assignment." "Think they'll be back?" "Maybe... but right now we've got to get you home. Your mom must be worried sick about you." Jake instructed the boy to get on Marahute, as they prepared to return him home. -------------------------------------------------- "What's that light?" Cody asked, pointed across the mountainous ridge. Across the large trench, was a small cave parallel to the group's location. A small glimmer of light was shining from it, as if it was some one holding a mirror. But this light was familiar. Like when the keyhole was sealed in previous worlds. Marahute stared straight into the light. She knew what it meant. Flora's keyblade had began to glow before she could even react to the forming of the keyblade shape from across the horizon. The glow had the darkness inside the cave, revealing the light inside the world's heart. The keyblade began to rise on it's own, giving the wielder a sudden signal on what to do next. -------------------------------------------------- Luna gained 4 EXP
