There's something strangely addictive about playing a fighting game, getting a good read on your opponent and squashing him...

I met a guy in Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown today who helped me grind for an achievement. Boy, let me tell you, he beat my ass in quite a bit. Not even joking, but during this he stopped to teach me how to play the game, coach me on what I was doing wrong, and help me find a character I liked. After I accidentally perfected him and won the string of rounds, he asked if I'd be down for a main vs main fight (YOU KNOW THE MAIN I JUST GOT) to see if I would be any good. AND I STOMPED HIM. Close match honestly, came down to a fifth round, but I GOT 'IM. He told me he actually tried and I used my positioning well and blah and that I should get on Thursdays and join the social tournaments they have.

After that, I sweeped the arcade mode on hard. Good feeling man.

So I re-completed Mass Effect... Got three chevos and a gamerpic, but REALLY bitter about being two thousand EXP from level 60.

Now I'm back to finishing Red Steel 2, but the game bugged out TWICE so I had to redo the same level again. Uggggh. That said, even with that crushing disappointment, this game is too fun to stay made at.[DOUBLEPOST=1403745040][/DOUBLEPOST]
