It's like "Ooh, I'll make a character that looks exactly like me! *spends a lot of time on details and such* Okay, now I'll make her a boyfriend! **spends about 3 minutes creating sim*" Seriously though, I suck at designing guys in Sims. Especially the clothes. I have no idea what guys wear! I don't usually pay attention to their clothes...
I think it can actually depend on the people involved. For example, if I mentioned pocky to my boyfriend, that's using an inside joke to indirectly say I want a kiss (long story). However, if anyone else mentioned pocky, it wouldn't be flirting, it'd just be conversation.

The only downside for me is that the ultra-speed isn't as fast as it was in previous games. It's moreso about the speed of what the middle option used to be. The new "ultra-speed through current action" is pretty cool though.
It's awesome. You get to create characters and control their lives and stuff. There are less clothes, but there's a new color editor feature, so you can pick a top you like and change the color. Same thing with furniture. My dad had to upgrade my RAM before I could install it. You don't actually control the entire town, but you can zoom in to other parts of the town to see what people are doing, then send your sims to interact with them. On my computer, it only takes about 30-45 seconds to load. After the main loading time, you don't really have to worry about anything else loading. It came out June 2. People are complaining because they're not used to it. Also, it's a lot more realistic than the previous games.
I'm surprised there wasn't already a thread about this. I got it yesterday, and played it for like, 9 hours straight. It has pretty much everything the other Sims games had, but it's a lot more awesome. The graphics are a lot better, and there's pretty much no loading time between the house and zooming out to the neighborhood. You can even have one sim at home, and another sim over at a friend's house or in a community lot and control them both. Think of your favorite feature from either of the previous games, and it's been upgraded. Thoughts? Questions? *may provide screenshots later*
