This still has a lot of merits. /b/ moves so fast that the majority of regular board participants probably didn't even see it. They aren't a hivemind, it was some people who logged on when that thread was near the front page and chose to take supportive action. It's not /b/, so much as a bunch of people from /b/. If a bunch of us did a stunt like that, it wouldn't be KINGDOM HEARTS FANSITE STRIKES, it would be "people attacked and used this website to invite people to the attack," but because it's 4chan, the millions of users across the multiple boards get roped into this because 4chan is still considered the scary part of the internet and is easy to villainize.
First off, I don't believe the standard tumblr user even knows what an extension is. Second, let's pretend they do and it basically acts as a built in filter... THEN WHY DO YOU NEED TO THROW THE WORDS TRIGGER WARNING THERE? THEY WON'T SEE IT. WRITE THE WORD "RAPE" IN THE TAGS AND THEN YOU'LL GET IT BLOCKED It's because a lot of people on tumblr don't WANT that crap blocked. There was a whole freakin' SJW movement about porn with women being raped but then the leaders of it all were found commenting and reblogging MALE RAPE PORN and NO ONE called them on this crap.[DOUBLEPOST=1404672170][/DOUBLEPOST] Hey dude, I'm trying to defend "4chan," if that wasn't clear, because /b/ is just one freakin' image board. I'm gonna be honest here about my beliefs on this matter and not deflate anything, so get ready..... Trigger warnings are dumb and the result of a spoiled society. They were never a good idea because that's not how life works. We shouldn't all have to be constantly PC to make sure we don't trigger some PTSD because for the years the internet has existed, it's been pretty easy to avoid pictures of vietnam war injuries if your a 'nam vet by not freakin' going out of your way to find it. I get tumblr is this hugbox that is fast and when people upload something, they want it to get as much exposure as it can so it has to have a zillion tags on it (another problem for another day) and they're just trying to tag it so no one will accidentally stumble across something and have an episode. I get that, I really do. But if I'm searching for images of Devil May Cry and find an image of Dante bending Nero over and raping him, a tag that says "TW: RAPE" isn't going to make me not have an episode if I were a victim. I wouldn't see that and go "oh, thank god they tagged it! Now my PTSD won't kick in!" All it's been used for is an excuse to try and repel nerd rage (and attract it, of course) and be a scapegoat. tl;dr- was never a good idea, could never have good execution

I believe it needs to be clarified that the game will receive English voice acting if it reaches 100k. It'll still be in English regardless (I know you know, I'm preventing confusion I've seen around the internet) AND I CAME FOR THE ANIMATED SERIES BECAUSE THAT COULD BE BOMB. That said, yeah, the whole WE BUILT A NEW ARMY and they have this radical new way of transforming that's far more efficient being followed by Hound demolishing nearly all of them like they were nothing kind of made their entire build up pointless. Watched Transformers: Age of Extinction yesterday. Fun robot fights, though I wish every giant robot movie could be Pacific Rim level of fights. Ah well, there was a part where a tanker ship was dropped on a monorail. I left happy. These types of movies make me really wanna pickup a game with exploding robots or watch a dumb robot show. Also, went to a Dave and Busters. While an expensive place in general, I played this really really sick arcade game that I've only known of for a month now. It was pretty fun. The machine was really cool. The peripheral guns were mounted canons, there was a wheel in between the two players, and the machine itself was one of those sitdown cabs. The whole machine had really good surround sound and had good rumble. Had to yell to communicate with the player next to me. Still, was fun. The game itself was great too. Other notable games there were Mach Storm, Mario Kart: Arcade Grand Prix Deluxe, Dream Raiders (yo, I gotta find a port of this machine...), Pac-Man Battle Royale, and there was some classic stuff there too.
