Ok.. my dilemma.. Vidya games can't give me STDs, but isn't sex, can't get pregnant and if I'm unsatisfied with the product, I can return it for a refund. If I enjoyed the vidya game though a lot, I will talk about it for weeks, I'm hyped and then people will warn me about spoilers and be jealous.. or is that if I have sex.. Sex can give me STDs, feels great, but if I'm not satisfied with the product, I lose money, dignity and self-respect, more than likely. If I enjoyed the sex and have a decent relationship, I won't talk much about it because you're not supposed to. Something about spoilers.. or is that video games.. life is so confusing. Sex = Vidya Games
She's not bad. She could be very pretty without the snake bites. Not sure why people like them. One lip ring I think looks alright, but can't say I think two is attractive at all. And this is coming from someone with a few piercings heh.
Damn, I can't decide. Both are great. Both have negatives. Can't... choose.
Going to close this since it's answered and didn't really belong here anyway. If you need further assistance, go to the forum assistance area. We're working on trying to get everything working again but unfortunately, we can't seem to get access to some things we need to have in order to make stuff happen.
appletini haha
You can change your mood I believe by just trying to reply to a post or by going to your profile page. The list comes up for me at any rate. I'm not sure I get what you mean. You can also click on your name if you've posted somewhere and go to your profile page so you don't have to wait for notifications to get there.
You have seen me. Now, you must suffer. *tosses chocolates in the room.*
1. I don't think it's possible as I've never seen proof of it. 2. If I did believe it were possible, no I would not do such a thing. That's the -easy- way out, to get what I'd want out of life and for what? Sure, I'd have good things for a while, but if I could give up a soul in the first place, that would tell me that I would be condemning it to some contract and removing it from the cycle that is normal, for one lifetime, which is too insignificant in that case to compare. I do think there are plenty of people that can be silly enough to want an easy way out like this but in the end, it's not worth it. 3. My soul or anyone else's soul, or any animal's soul even, would not be worth selling for the sake of being on easy street for one life time. The existence of a soul can neither be proven or disproved to me, but it does not mean if someone was coming to me with such a deal, I'd want to call them on a bluff heh. I'm not religious but at the same time, the concept of getting something in such a manner is just describing how much of a loser someone is at life anyway if they'd agree to it. At least that's my opinion.
No emulator talk guys, as was pointed out. Closing this.
I also view myself as a Realist. If I know something is going to go wrong, there's no point to me in being too down about it and there's no point in trying to say it won't happen as bad as it's going to be. As a realist, I'm still pretty content about life for the most part, but I'd prefer to not look through rosy colored glasses or through stained ones that won't see beyond me. You are right that being a Realist is not the same as being a pessimist, despite some people's views. I know plenty of pessimists and we're quite different in some views, while in others we can feel similar.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm sad in a way that they are going to remake it, as I feel it's a stupid idea to remake an Eric Draven film. I -really- hope that instead, they use another Crow from the actual comics because there were many and well, the other Crow movies were really crappy in comparison to the first one with Brandon Lee. It was a shame Brandon Lee died during the filming of this movie and I'm glad they still released it. The soundtrack for this movie was also really great.
Due to the fact, nearly every religion has an apocalyptic ending, including ones that predate Christianity, Judaism and Muslim, I don't think Christianity wins. Since Christians have gone through great efforts to vanquish other religious beliefs with hostile take overs, brain washing and other stuff, and even absorbed other people's holidays as their own, and called every other religion out there blasphemous and fraudulant (which also involved wiping out people of different beliefs in the Old Testament and after the New Testament), I would consider the winners, if a Judgment Day did happen to be anyone that's happy to say the world is over finally. Also, from an anthropological point of view, the fact that people of varying societies all over the world have thought of the end of the world doesn't prove the existence of one deity. It shows that people are scared of death and the worst thing that could happen to us all is an end to the world where not even offspring would survive. Is it possible? Considering we now have enough nukes on the world to destroy it several times over, sure thing. If such a travesty happened by human hands, it would not be the doing of a deity though. With how things are going, the changes in the earth can be accounted for by science, so if the world is destroyed, Christians will be saying it's the end by religion while others will be saying 'we should have been smarter and tried to prevent more sooner because we knew it would lead to this'. This is the view of most atheists. We're tired of being told we're blasphemers, idiots, etc. I used to believe in Christianity until I actually read the Bible and many other religious books through and discerned too many things that were contradictory. Also, I found it to be a book that simply put, scared and horrified me more than Edgar Allan Poe's stories I was reading around the same time at 12 years old. I have nothing wrong with anyone believing in any religion at all until they choose to live in a world of delusion and not accept reality at all. - When gay people stop dying and are not denied their rights to live as people equal to others, a religious person is a-ok to me. Those who view it as wrong, are cool with me. - When religious zealots stop trying to take out science from schools so kids can be stupid and under-educated, and stop trying to force science to teach religion views, I will be happy and any Christian who actually won't boo the science guy Bill Nye off a podium because he says the moon is not generating its own light but reflects it from the sun, is a-ok to me. Those who do, should be psychologically evaluated or just considered too stupid to be taken serious. When religious people are ok with a world religious class that teaches of all religions to include the Christian beliefs of Creationism along with the Hindu ideals etc, and show tolerance of other beliefs, instead of trying to force Creationism in -science-, I will be pleased. - When women are treated as equals and can wear what the hell they want to and in a court of law, because of religious morons, rape won't be considered justified. - When some religious people stop either taking the Bible too literal to justify themselves or they take only parts of the Bible to live by but yet can condemn others who don't believe in it, I again will be a happy atheist because Christians won't be judging each other so awfully, let alone others. - When courts and law reflect off commonsense, decency, benevolence and justice instead of religious views, again, I will be happy as an Atheist. Really, in the end, I could care less what people believe -unless- it does harm to other people. There are Christians out there that try to make people follow things blindly while being hypocritical themselves (Ted Haggard anyone?). There are religious people who steal money for various things other than assisting people and try to say Atheists don't give to others and I'm sorry, but we do and we know damned well where our money goes to. There are religious people that do missionary work and expect in return those people they assist will value their religious beliefs instead of the act of benevolence shown, which means help comes at a cost of losing your cultural ethnic background. There are kids who are told to walk away from science because it is evil and teaches kids to not believe in God. Science can refute the Bible. It cannot really refute the existence of deities outside of existence. You can believe in God or the Flying Spaghetti Monster and without proof of existence or lack of it, we get nowhere. Quite a few Christian groups have even learned to be more tolerant and accepting of others, as well as to stop being so dogmatic where it will sever people's relationships with others. However, I am against the Christianity movement out there, especially lately Evangelical Protestants, that have attempted to thwart humanity from progression, harmed and/or killed people who don't fit in to include stupid exorcisms, scarring children for life, motivating those who don't fit in to commit suicide, and try to make people into virtual 'yes men' that will do whatever some book tells them, to include judging others for differences when our own very planet can show rationale behind those differences when gazed at through an open mind. The Christians who actually -do- practice that they will not 'judge thine fellow man', 'the glass house philosophy' and 'do unto others as you would have done unto you' are not the people who are harmful in my eyes. However, they also are not out there speaking against what other militant believers in Christianity are doing so until they do, consider it that Atheists (who are not religious) and others of varying religions have no choice but to. If 'good' Christians get caught between it, you are misunderstanding the intentions of Atheists on the whole. We're not out to demolish religion or say all Christians are bad oppressors etc. We'd just appreciate it if Christians would stop thinking on the whole that the words 'good' and Christian go together all the time, while Atheist + evil satanic destroyer of religion' go together or 'insert any religion other than Christianity here' + fake belief, idiot misled person' go together. And the last thing that I wish would end. The martyr complex that some Christians have must freaking die. They have absolutely -no- right to toss out the martyr card at all when Christianity is the #1 religion in the world. Martyrs would be the underdogs. Christians are -not- Jesus, who had the odds against him. End of story. And of course, this debate thread is well, pointless, other than it helps to let people voice opinions.
Lil Woj, stop posting spam here. It's getting pathetic. Consider this your verbal warning. As for all the publicity, it'll die down but this happens with any famous actor or singer that really was a powerful influence on society. MJ affected the world with his music, especially in the 80s. His music lasted through generations. It's only natural this would happen. The same thing happened with Elvis Presley too, who still people know of his music, because he was also super influential. Also, Tupac and various others. Musicians probably get remembered even more than actors in a way since we can hear their songs anytime and music invokes emotion. Ironically, when Elvis died, there were also a lot of jokes that circulated around. I can see why some people think it's being overdone, but for those who grew up with MJ's music and it influenced them, to include other musicians, it's a shock to them. It'll go down sooner or later, but I'd just say that let people mourn how they are going to in the end. Some people get over things faster than others. Also, some people didn't even know his music or are annoyed at the publicity because of his bad publicity over the last few years. Some others have asked the question that if you didn't know the person 'personally' why does it matter? As I said earlier, a musician has the ability to make songs that convey an array of emotion from the listener. In the 80s and 90s, people who grew up with MJ, knew the music and musicians often pour parts of themselves into songs they make. In that way, we can relate to the musician more than most other forms of entertainers. I still remember lamely imitating his dance moves while watching videos on MTV when I was very young. Many kids did that, and well if I hadn't, I probably wouldn't know how to dance today or cared so girls would have thought I sucked at high school dances and at clubs. xD So there's an example of how MJ influenced me because many of his songs were fun and he seemed to put his heart into them. I do agree it is being over-publicized, but at the same time, there are countless people with examples on how his music and dance moves, his videos inspired them. The hub-bub will be over sometime in the next few weeks I'd think.
358/2 Days won't be moving to its own section until the game is released in at least most regions. It's still 'upcoming' for everyone -but- Japan, as others mentioned. The theory idea is a good one at first but not a good one in the end. Not only would this be a pain in the arse for staff to do because we'd have to hand pick theories, -and- amendments, other people's additions etc, which make the theories make more sense. Some people want credit for all their theory work, to the point they've insulted other people of the forums and elsewhere for 'stealing' their theories, which in many cases was not even true. Theories get discussed as other things do and there's no special reason, other than for ego, that people need to save theories to a special thread, lumped together. The theories will remain better preserved anyway in their own threads, which aren't deleted and the context isn't lost. Closing this since there's no point in leaving it open now.
I wanna go too. I'm bored and sick of work.
There goes the planet. xD Have a good time vice!
Hope you feel better soon, wolfie! See you when you get back.
That's going to be really awesome. Have a great time there!
Thanks, yours is cool too.
Pretty much, this is my opinion. I like the PS3 more than the Xbox for the exclusives, since most of the games that are available on either console, I can also get for PS3, and I like the bluray and graphics more. I don't really enjoy the online Xbox games so much because I get sick of the attitudes of some people on there and the elite crap, so in the end though I think Sony should work more on their internet stuff and also games available for download, I don't mind it as much.
