Streaming the first Five Nights at Freddy's in like 4 minutes here.
It's less so the jumpscares that interest me about the games now, and more so the dread and tension you feel, especially once you understand the underlying story, which I find to be actually really well done, especially compared to most modern horror games (of like the past 5 years)

Really? Wow, even with how much more analytical as I am now, I'd still find it hard to not enjoy Kingdom Hearts. At least, the first one and Birth by Sleep. II's got a super convoluted plot and Chain of Memories has level recycling and Dream Drop Distance depends on if I have any knowledge of the story beforehand.
Exactly my thoughts. I feel like the ending was partly that way only to finally show what she was. There's a point where you have to stop barely giving audiences information, because if you do that, we only end up with what we think happened and why we think they happened.

Code Geass is one of the best anime I've ever watched.
