"I don't know..." Brexecca muttered, thinking. She started walking with him again, oblivious that anything might be wrong. "At least that's what Fayte said happened..." She thought hard and then looked up at Kulex, smiling. "Sure," She replied softly. "She should be somewhere around the campus..." As they arrived at the pool, she looked around.
Kairi reached up and wiped a tear from his cheek, smiling. "Don't cry..." She said softly, despite the fact that she had tears falling down her cheeks, too. She gently kissed his cheek. "I love you too, Renji..." She smiled.
Brexecca sighed. "I knew you'd be concerned..." She muttered. "Relax... She's got someone with her, so if anything happens, we'll know right away..." She explained softly. "I'll tell you what happened, but you probably won't believe it..." Looking him in the eyes and seeing his worried expression, she looked away and started to explain. "It's a pretty bizarre story, and I wasn't actually there when it happened... Apparantely, Abexecca has something inside of her called a "silver crystal". It has some type of special power or something, and there's a guy who's after that power. When she was sleeping some night, the guy- or somebody- came and left a cut on her arm. When she woke up, she put a bandage around it, but there were times during the day where it hurt really badly just out of nowhere... And in the afternoon, she just collapsed and an ambulance came and got her... She claimed that she was hearing voices in her head telling her about the crystal..." She paused. "The guy who's with her now was the one who was there through all of this... His name is Fayte... When Abexecca told him about the voices, she said that some voice in her head said togo to the bridge at midnight or she'd keep suffering from the pain... So her and Fayte snuck out of the hospital and went to the bridge. They thought he'd just take the crystal and leave, but apparantely the crystal was planted deep in Abexecca's heart... So when he tried to take it out, it left her in a near-death sort of state... However, there was a force field or something protecting the crystal, so the guy couldn't even take it once he got it out, so he said he'd be back and then left. Abexecca grabbed the crystal, and Fayte took her back to the hospital... She gradually started to feel better, but the cut on her arm seemed to still sort of hurt her..." She sighed once she'd finished explaining. "It's sort of bizarre, but it seems to be true..." She bit her lip, thinking.
Brexecca stopped walking, too, and looked and the ground. "Well, yeah, she's here... It's just..." Brexecca sighed and tried to explain. "She's been in the hospital for a bit, but from what I've heard, she came back to the school this morning..." She had a worried expression on her face as she looked up at Kulex. "But when I saw her yesterday... Well... She wasn't exactly 'better'..." She bit her lip, wondering if she should explain the story to him. Would he believe it?
She finally found the voice to ask him. "Where have you been all this time, Renji? I thought-..." She cut off that thought immediately, hugging him tighter. "I'm so glad you're back..." She smiled softly.
Brexecca looked up at Kulex sadly for a moment as he said that, hearing the hurt in his voice, but she noticed when he shook it off. However, she didn't like the new topic to much. "Uh... Well..." She rubbed the back of her head, trying to think of how to explain it to him.
"Eh, summer was okay..." She said, not wanting to tell him what she'd done over the summer. She smiled softly. "Nothing beats hanging out here with everyone else, though..." She said and grinned as they walked towards the pool.
Kairi hugged him tightly, smiling as the tears ran down her cheeks. She was so happy to see him again... It was undescribable. She kissed him gently, smiling. "I love you..." She said.
Kairi didn't know what to say. She was so glad to see him again... it'd been a really long time. She wondered where he had been and what he had been up to, but she didn't ask. She was so happy to finally be with him again, and she felt a happiness surge through her. She kissed him back, hugging him tightly as the tears fell down her cheeks. "I can't believe it's you... you're really here..." She repeated over and over, looking up into his eyes. She could tell that she was still in shock.
khhottie, I'm at that part, and I'm fixing to puke... X.x to think I was gonna use this book for a school assignment! THAT ain't gonna happen anymore! I'd probably get expelled for stuff like that. X/ Response to spoiler: The wedding was so pretty... I <3 that part, despite that it lacked some detail. :3 Poor Charlie cried!! ;-;
"Of course I remember you! How could I not?!" She asked, tears starting to fall down her cheeks, too. She held on to him tightly, afraid to let go again... Afraid that he might leave. "I missed you so much..." She said softly.
Brexecca noticed him stop himself, but she didn't pay any attention to it. "It's okay..." She said and smiled, taking his hand. "You're a great friend too, Kulex."

Kairi hadn't even noticed Renji at first. She kept her eyes closed, thinking. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice, and her eyes shot open as she looked over in his direction, stunned. "R-Renji...?!" She felt as if she was in shock for a moment, and she couldn't move, but it quickly passed and she found herself running up to him, hugging him tightly, glad to see him. "Oh my gosh, Renji! I can't believe it's you!"
Brexecca changed into her swimsuit. I'm going to just leave him alone about it... maybe he'll cheer up and it'll pass... I know he doesn't want me to know, and it's not right of me to pressure him into telling me... She decided to quickly comb through her hair and put it up in a neat ponytail so it wouldn't get tangled while she was swimming. Smiling, she grabbed a towel and walked outside. Kulex was already there. "Wow, that was fast..." She said and grinned, giggling a bit.
OMG I've been reading Breaking Dawn a bit today, and it's starting to creep me out... these books only get more... er... Adult-Rated... O_o Watch out, it's an addicting series. ^w^
Kairi turned away from the sky and stared down at her reflection in the water. Things have been so quiet lately... She thought. At least Rikku's back to normal... But I haven't seen anyone around lately... Especially Renji... I hope he's okay... She closed her eyes and sighed. It was a saturday, so she was trying to think of what to do.
Brexecca winced slightly when he got annoyed with her, but relaxed as he seemed to calm down a bit. She wanted to say something to him, but he walked off before she had the chance. Sighing, she headed back to her room to get changed. Maybe I should just drop the subject... he'll talk to me about it if he wants to... Brexecca thought.
OOC- Well, Kairi's hanging around the school, and everybody else is at the theater, so I guess you could pretty much pop in anywhere... >> Kairi stood up and looked at the sky.
Brexecca could see the nervous expression on his face, and she knew for a fact now that something was wrong. "Sure..." She said softly and then paused for a second. brexecca sighed and crossed her arms, looking up at Kulex. "Okay, I know you're not alright... you never act like this..." She said. "What's up?" "Hmm..." Anna thought for a moment. "What if the game had distorted colors, then? Would it look normal to you?" She asked him.
