It looks nice but I'm not sure I can get hyped about this. It'll be out on PS4/Vita on October 25th(NA) and the 28th(EU).
I knew about the existence of Watch_Dogs 2 for a few days now but I didn't think there'd be a teaser for it before E3. I'm excited though. First game, though flawed, was easily one of the best Batman games around(more people need to make this comparison). Judging by the teaser...it looks like we're having a different male protagonist(assuming that's the main character). Hopefully the improvements will be similar to the difference between Assassin's Creed 1 and 2.
More than a year since this was last posted in. Strange. Well I haven't kept up with this game but apparently it's been delayed until Q1 2017. But hey, new trailer.
A remaster of FFXII has been confirmed. Source
Ash jumped down from the tree he had just been pinned against as he was released as quickly as the attack had come. He brushed off the dirt from his shirt and took in a deep breath, his chest sore from where he had just been hit. He made sure to keep in mind to make preparations for the next time he encountered a powerful magic user with control over earth but, at the very least, this trial was finally over. He followed after Vo, glad that the others had not failed their trial. "I'm ready for whatever trial is up next." He spoke lowly as they headed back into the other clearing. Rhett opted to wait around in the room with Hestia until Brianne calmed down. At least dealing with her when things settled down a little would be better than fighting her in her current state while he was still trying to recover. Looking at the texts that were neatly arranged in the bookcases of Hestia's room, Rhett skimmed through the titles on the spines of the hundreds of books(those that had them) in order to do something productive. Rhett glanced over at Hestia who seemed to be in no mood or shape for a prolonged conversation. Questioning her about the many things he had still yet to learned was out of the question, for now at least, which only made him feel some slight amount of regret for not taking more time learning from Ash. Picking out a few books that seemed dense with material, the werewolf plopped onto the nearest chair. There was only so much he could squeeze into his head in such a short amount of time but he was a quick study. Cin's eyes followed after Glynda and Yorick as they disappeared from sight leaving just himself and the Queen behind. Titania seemed fairly uninterested in whatever he had to offer and would likely only complicate matters further if he revealed more. It was not a bargaining chip and the Queen's motives were still not to be trusted. "How will you prevent the Downworlders from rising up against you? Or Yuri from interfering? The few Nephilim that you have manipulated may be strong but they lack numbers. Others will stand in your way. And as powerful as you are, even you would fall if you stand alone." "And that is, of course, without counting whatever the warlock and your precious Moonsong child are plotting. You're lacking in disposable pawns."

Really hoping the "Game Over" involving landing the car properly involves an explosion. Being stupid and crashing a flying car into things would be fun(for at least 10 minutes). Oh and this is worth a look: More reminders that, yes, the game is pretty in trailers.
I should focus more on recording when I make compositions instead of relying on virtual instruments but recording takes so long.
Irrin walked towards Ana's side just in time to watch as the pirate's form dissolved down into nothing but a murky puddle at their feet leaving ~description censored by Arch for being too graphic for KHV~ until the acid was neutralized. He turned his head to look at the expression on Ana's face, feeling that something was quite off with her given that any other person would have lost the contents of their stomach from witnessing such a scene. The words she had spoken just before killing the pirate were worrying as well. How did she manage to pass the psych evaluation? Then again, the fact that he was still serving the Coalition was questionable on its own. Knowing there was no time for them to relax and check on how the remaining three were doing Irrin motioned for Ana and the comm officer to follow him. "Come on. The armory is only one deck below and the stairs aren't too far." He headed forward, stepping over the corpse of one of the pirates he had shot, using the red lights as a guide. "Actually, even if you hadn't tweaked the formula, it would not have corroded the hull of the ship. It's nonreactive, highly stable, and a few hundred times stronger than diamond. We could submerge this ship in an ocean of acid and nothing would happen. Though the same can't be said for older ships. It's not common knowledge but the ship's namesake-" The ship shook slightly, causing Irrin to press his hand against a nearby storage crate to keep his balance. He picked up his pace and headed over towards the other end of the hall they had started on and rounded a corner, expecting the others to follow. Something was wrong. The stairwell was locked showing no signs of forced entry. Yet he knew this was where the pirates had come from. He had no time to question why none of this was making any kind of sense and pressed his hand against the sensor on the stairwell door. Thankfully, there was still power on it and-- "Access Denied. Biosignature not recognized." Was what the screen read. "Dammit not now." He growled, removing his hand and placing it on the sensor once more. He waited a long moment before, finally, he received a response. "Access Granted." "Finally." He pulled on the heavy metal door, and looked down at the stairwell which spiraled down steeply. Though someone could take the stairwell to reach any deck on the ship a lockdown forced anyone trying to move about to pass a security check at every floor, including a second check to actually enter a deck. Irrin led the way downstairs, stopping only to unlock yet another door to head down a floor and once more to make the final security check to enter the armory. It was the smallest deck on the ship due to the fact that the unused floor space behind the walls enclosing the armory actually housed several pieces of sensitive equipment that ran the ship that were not meant to be accessed under normal circumstances. Quint looked around the area, seeing that it was unoccupied and that (aside from the gear the landing party took) nothing had been taken. Yet another oddity. Surely if pirates had passed through here they would have made an attempt to raid their weapons and armor. "I don't like this. There's no way those three intruders could have made it onto the cargo deck without passing through here. Every other access point was sealed off." The red man stepped closer toward Clarity, closing the distance between them almost instantly despite appearing to have been moving very slowly. "I know you. I know everyone aboard this ship. No one knows of me however. My name is unimportant. I have a name but it is of no import. Knowing it will not do you any good." His voice changed, as the brutish demeanor he had put on earlier vanished instantly. "You have caught me in a merciful mood, Clarity." His eyes flashed with an intense fire behind them. "There's no doubt that someone on this ship has figured out that there is something amiss." The man's red fingers wrapped around Clarity's neck though there had never been any sign that he had made a move to grab her. He did not choke her though his grip was strong enough to prevent her from escaping without hurting herself in the process. "Tell me, in your opinion as a woman of medicine, is it ethical to dig through the mind of another against their will even if it will spare them unimaginable pain?" The three pirates who had attacked Saturday were still on patrol, keeping close together as they kept their eyes open for the strange alien. Their eyes were focused on the upper levels of the ruined buildings as they walked through the deserted streets. Unknowingly, they stepped right into the path of Brianne and Crow. Only one of the three caught an eye on the strangers and aimed his pistol at Brianne, firing a single shot of plasma hastily in a twitch reaction to get the first shot. The leader of the team of six engaged in combat with Winters and his squad watched as their enemies began to retreat. No doubt due to the loss of their comrade. The pirate smirked and motioned for his men to follow in hopes to corner the Coalition grunts and slaughter the lot of them. Aggressively, the moved forward, rarely taking cover as they made their advance to follow after Winters while occasionally taking potshots at the remaining five. Janus looked off to the side, hearing and seeing the lights of gunfire in the distance deeper into the ruins. "It seems your efforts to buy time nearly paid off. But I'm gonna have to speed this up a notch." The man shifted his attention back towards Alexei and aimed his rifle at the boy before hesitating a moment. He flipped a switch near the trigger of his rifle to set it on the lowest power setting and fired at Alexei's leg to ensure the boy would not do anything to stop him. The shot would hurt like hell and leave a nasty burn but it would not permanently maim Alexei. "Come on girl, move along. Maybe I'll remember who you are on the way back to our ship." Janus's gun was aimed once more at Yvette. "If you play hero and I will do more than shoot someone in the leg." He motioned for Yvette to get in the shuttle.
Ash knew he could pour more power into the shadow that was crushing down on Vo's dome but it would hardly make a difference now. Whether Vo was intentionally allowing Ash to win this contest of strength, albeit at a slow rate, or was actually just simply losing did not matter. Trap or not, that dome was going down. "We've already taken a few hits. A few more wouldn't kill us." He agreed with Aethelrick's plan but just agreeing was not good enough. If Masque did not follow through and kept hidden to stay out of harm's way it would all be for nothing. In Ash's other hand a bright flame erupted and wrapped around his hand up toward his arm. Without waiting for any input from Ash, Aethelrick charged forward toward the dome taking sharp turns to make his movements seem random. Ash would wait until the very last instant to create a small opening in the shadow constricting the earth just large enough for Aethelrick to attack with whatever he had. Meanwhile, Ash made his way to the side, keeping to the trees for just a moment longer. He briefly opened up his shadow in another area and launched a fireball larger than the first he had shot earlier. The warlock jumped down and onto another tree to keep Vo from guessing where he was now. Once more, flames surged around Ash's arm. He felt it sap away at his strength but ignored it knowing that if he took a breather things would not end well. Another opening in the shadow encasing Vo's dome appeared and yet another blast of fire was thrown at it. Jumping down and charging alongside Aethelrick would not have been the best use of his ability but it hardly meant that he could do nothing to aid the nephilim. Ash made his way onto another tree, refusing to allow his prolonged use of magic to slow him down. Again, the fire rose from his arm. "I know. I haven't lived as long as you have but I know what you're talking about. I just have to try harder. I have to be more." Rhett watched as Creed entered the portal before him and glanced once more at Brianne. She was growing more aggressive. The calm and leisurely approach he had wanted to take with her would no longer work. If she was ever going to get this under control he was going to have to treat her as someone...who wasn't so delicate. Not that Brianne was delicate before but this was a different matter entirely. "If only we had the time to wait for Ash. He's held a pretty strong relation with the vampires for a long time. He's convinced more than a handful that it would be in there best interests not to stab me in the back." He shook his head. There was no point wondering what could have been if they simply did not have the time to wait. "Here's hoping the nephilim have some pull of their own. I'd hate to lose out on a potential ally in desperate times." Without another word, Rhett went through the portal. "Then perhaps you just might change my mind. If your plan is as...destructive as you imply." Cin's eyes shifted toward Glynda "the emissary". "If I were to speak freely, I would rather not do it here. Not with wandering eyes and listening ears everywhere." Though with Titania's attitude toward him, she was never going to care for his vague words and dismiss it as an attempt to buy time. If the Queen truly did want the nephilim gone, maybe he had acted too harshly against her. But she did not say what she wanted. There were still many things left in the air of what her ultimate goal was to be and there was still enough room to interpretation that what she wanted did not line up with what he wanted. "Whenever you have wrapped up your business with miss Newfrost, I know I have something that you will find greatly interesting if you would be willing to speak with me. And I know how much it takes for you to find something interesting."
Do you even lift?
The damage was already done by the time Ash moved upward onto a higher branch on a different tree. A few scratches on his face, a fracture on his right arm, and bruises that were sure to form on his torso and leave him sore the next day. Ash winced as he adjusted his weight on the new branch and pulled a rock out that had managed to slice into his leg. All because he had left himself open while helping out Aethelrick. Ash hoped that the nephilim would be able to make him not regret freeing him from Vo's magic. The damage could have been worse but that hardly mattered. Bruises, cuts, and a fracture here or there was hardly the worse pain he had felt. The warlock glanced down to watch as Valister was taken into the dome. Hopefully the vampire would manage to hold his own in there. His eyes shifted over towards his shadow which had remained unscathed by Vo's attacks and totally unnoticed by the fairy. It was already within striking distance. His original plan had been to use his shadow as a distraction while he used his fire to turn the dome into an oven and force the fairy out but now a reversal of his plan had taken place. Ash did not want to place all his faith on one attack but his options were limited. Resorting to extreme and lethal measures would surely only cause Gaia to intervene and bringing a tree(or several) crashing down on Vo would only serve to anger the Mother of Fairies with the wanton destruction of her home. Ash reached out with his left arm, pouring more of his power into the shadow as it began to grow as the blackness soon covered the fairy's earth dome. He clenched his hand tightly into a fist causing the black mass to constrict and collapse on Vo's protective barrier. Ash intended to crush through the fairy's barrier and pin Vo with his shadow. Rhett had just barely cleaned out the long cut on Felicia's side and muttered a curse in German over the number Cin had done to the already-injured werewolf. He started on the stitches for the girl's side when shouting coming from Roxanne came to his ear. He looked outside, because dammit if there wasn't a window he was making one, to see Hestia holding onto Brianne with fire magic. She made an offer to only take two instead of the many she had given her word to take with her. Anger welled up inside of him. If Hestia had already known that it was Brianne who had been Changed then why would she alter her plans so rapidly? It didn't make sense. Did she not know that Brianne was here? Given the age of the likes of Hestia and Titania he had assumed them to be almost all-knowing but...why would she be so concerned about Brianne? Why would Titania? A few reasons came to mind but as he rushed to finish the stitches on Felicia he shoved his thoughts to the backburner. Felicia was in no condition to be moved but he could not just leave her behind untended to either. In some way, she was his responsibility. But so was Brianne. And, by the looks of it, she was not doing so well with keeping her newfound temper under control. Someone had to be there for her who knew exactly how this worked. That someone was him. Rhett cursed under his breath again and slammed his fist against the wall in frustration. Even if he could force Hestia to change her mind, which he knew he could not, he was in no condition to make threats. He whistled, calling for one of his pack. When one came Rhett motioned towards Felicia as he made his way out. "Get a werewolf to finish patching her up. Preferably one of her's. Make sure she gets taken somewhere safe. Somewhere that's not here." Rhett glanced at the werewolf and paused for a moment, his patience rapidly dwindling as the acceptance of his situation set in. He simply could not be there for everyone no matter how much he wanted to. As much as he regretted it, he had to pick and choose his battles. "If I find out she died under your watch, I'll hunt you down and tear your heart out. Got it? Good." As he made his way down the stairs he called for one of his and one of Felicia's wolves. Given that the other pack had a downed Alpha, convincing them that it was in their best interests to spread out and get far away from the Institute was easier than he thought it would be. Then again, it could have just been his more-than-irked attitude that helped persuade them to listen to reason. It was a decision that would not have made Felicia happy but that was not as important as getting them out alive before Titania returned. Rhett's own pack complied to his wishes even faster leaving the only werewolves left inside those caring for Felicia. Rhett exited the Institute and made his way over towards Hestia. "I'm coming." He gave one look over towards Brianne. "I made a mistake and I don't intend on letting it get worse than it already has." "Oh I may have betrayed you but I am still the best you have." Cin watched as Titania had her words with the nephilim girl who had been captured alongside him. There must have been something special about this one. "Pain would seem too boring for the actions I have taken against you." The fairy eyed Titania, his eyes narrowing. "Do you even plan on destroying the nephilim? Subjugating them? Trimming their claws?" Cin scoffed and pressed his index finger against the blade, pushing it away from his chin, nicking his skin in the process. "Perhaps my feeble mind is just too dull to understand what you're planning but it looks to me like you're not planning on revenge for what our kind has endured for so long."
Electronics II - A Electromagnetic Field Theory - A Not much else. Don't want to take much while prepping(procrastinating) for grad school.
Irrin held an arm in front of the comms officer to tell the man to stay put and let him handle the shooting. One too many had already died and he was not about to let any more to lose their lives. In some strange sense, he felt more comfortable here being shot at than he did on the bridge. At least a fight was simple. There were bad guys trying to kill them. All he had to do was put them down first. Fight or die. Simple. On the other side of the hallway was Ana, unarmed but safe for now. She glanced at the gun the bridge officer was carrying. Irrin knew that look in her eye. If he had thought even for a second that he could have stopped her from going for the gun he would have but the girl was determined. When Ana made her move for the gun, Irrin popped out of the corner and took aim at the drone and fired a single shot at it, hitting it dead center and causing it to explode in an impressive display of sparks and super-heated metal shrapnel. This caused the three pirates to flinch and stop firing for an instant, stunned as they clumsily tried to make their way to cover. He took another two shots, hitting one pirate in the stomach and another directly in the chest leaving just one left. The pirates held their ground against Winters and his team, too distracted with keeping themselves alive to notice Brianne and Crow leave the fight. In the firefight, two more pirates met their end, being killed while trying to poke out of cover to take shots at Winters and the other security. Upon being dropped to the ground by Saturday the three pirates struggled to stand and regain a sense of their surroundings. The searched the immediate area and, on finding no signs of the alien, spread out to search through the ruins, guns still drawn. This time, they armed themselves with plasma-based weapons as to not have their shots miss the next time they encountered him. "Ya know, these fancy computers don't offer as much security as I thought they would. Then again, I suppose I have an advantage when it comes to these." A lone man was hunched over the briefing room's main computer with a single light illuminating the red skin on his face. The monitors were all turned off but his attention was still fixed on the one light coming from a device attached to the console. The man was large, by any standard, looking awkward with how far he had to bend down just to bring his face towards the screen his eyes were glued to. He wore no armor but, rather, just a ragged leather jacket stained and patched from years of abuse. There was a quiet high-pitched beep from where he stood. The red man took the device from the console and stuffed it in his pocket. "Step aside, Clarity." He looked up at the medical officer, stepping around the central table in the briefing room. The man towered over her by at least two feet. Just barely visible in the lighting was a scar that ran down from his forehead, to his eye, down to his chin. "Now." "She's a clever one." The pirate spoke towards the women in his group. "I like it when they have a strong head on their shoulders. It makes me more inclined to keep it there." He eyed the boy who walked out with suspicion. The boy hardly seemed like security assigned to guard the pilot. Unfortunately for Alexei, he was a he. The pirate did not enjoy death but killing a male was far easier than a female. "The name's Janus Themis. I will be the one plundering you today. With a fancy starship like yours, I'm sure your captain won't mind us taking a single shuttle for a spin, won't she?" Janus lazily pointed his rifle at the boy. "Go. Shoo. You can either run to your friends or crawl there." To make a point Janus fired a round at the ground beside Alexei's feet, kicking up dirt from the bullet's impact. "And you," He motioned at Yvette with the barrel of his rifle. "You seem familiar. So you're joining me on a little field trip until I can figure out where I've seen you before."
Square reminding us that, yes, FFXV is very pretty. ...And the inevitable PC release next year(or later?) will look fantastic. Assuming it runs smoothly.
Rhett glanced over at Hestia once more while Roxanne opened the barrier for him. He only gave the nephilim half of his attention while Hestia spoke, vaguely hearing where the infirmary was located. "The Four? You, Yuri, Titania, and who? The Clave? Titania won't be around much longer and the Clave...well they have bigger things to worry about than me." Rhett shook his head and sighed, the strain on his arms from carrying Felicia beginning to grow. "I'll tell you my choice as soon as Felicia's stable and I have a word with my..." What did he call someone he turned? He had never had to worry about such a thing before and now he had now been made aware that it would affect more than just himself or Brianne but that others too would be involved. He could have asked why but it did not matter now. The deed was done and all that was left was to move forward. Being soft was no longer an option. "I'll be back as soon as possible. Thank you for what you've done and the protection you are offering." "Thanks." He muttered to Roxanne as she replaced the barrier once he entered. Another man was speaking, his voice unfamiliar and his appearance unknown to him as he approached the entrance. The man gave him a passing glance but did relatively little other than inspect him briefly before going towards Hestia. Rhett could have warned the nephilim to relax but he did not believe him to be in any danger from Hestia. She did not seem the type to kill out of mere annoyance. Not like Titania. "Brianne?" Rhett called out as he approached the stairs. "I need a word with you. Now."

Ana was still in the lift when he returned. She seemed smart enough to know what kind of danger they would be headed toward. The communications officer and another member of the bridge crew entered the lift, their faces stern as they nodded at him to signal that they were ready to get to business. "Good luck keeping this ship running, Captain." The lift doors closed and their descent down to the lower decks began. "Security should be at every corner of the ship but with the lifts down everywhere else and the stairwells forcing someone to stop at every floor to pass a locked door, they won't make it to the shuttlebay in time before the intruders make their way up. The moment they do, they'll have an easier time getting around the ship and there will be casualties." The lift suddenly stopped, jolting the four with the immediate deceleration. Quint stood by the door, waiting for it to open. Nothing happened. "Systems must be down on this deck." He forced the doors open, finding that the lights on the deck were off leaving only the glow of the red warning lights to illuminate the hallway large room. "Stay close to me and keep your eyes open." He whispered, his Emissary raised forward. Storage containers were lined up against the walls, stacked up towards the ceiling. There were hallways that led to the left and right appearing periodically in between spaces of the lined up crates. It was not the armory but, rather, the deck above. The lower cargo room. "The armory is one deck down. We need to get to the stairwell." A white light shone onto the floor from across the deck. Quint motioned for the group to take cover behind the storage containers. This wasn't a security team. Seconds later, a security drone rounded the corner and spotted the group, even as they headed towards cover. The searchlight turned red, blending in with the lights coming from the emergency signals. A small group of three pirates appeared around the corner, weapons drawn. Irrin fired a quick shot at them, narrowly missing one of the intruders. They returned fire at the four, hitting the secondary bridge officer square in the chest, the green bolt of plasma piercing through his body and leaving him on the ground. Dead. Blood did not even spill on the ground as his wound had been instantly cauterized. This left only Irrin, Ana, and the comms officer to take cover. One pirate took the shot Brianne fired in the side before he could reach cover. The pirate fell over screaming in pain. It was clear he would no longer be able to continue the fight. Another was killed by Winters' HESU fire, never having been able to fire a single shot in return. By the time Winters' second fireteam began to attack the rest of the pirates had managed to find cover, raining on the away team with a barrage of bullets, plasma, and ion shots. Some tried to move in closer, concentrating their fire on Winters and his secondary team rather than Brianne's group. Graybourn was killed in the attack. An ion burst hitting his stomach and a large caliber bullet tearing through his leg. The three surviving pirates flailed helplessly in the air as they continued to open fire at the man in the strange white mask. One pirate dropped his weapon upon seeing bullets had no effect in the altered gravity field, his weapon now floating beside him. He pulled out an AER pistol, knowing that the trajectory of the plasma would not so easily be changed by gravity. Bolts of plasma were now fired at Saturday, cutting through his gravitational ability. Back at the shuttle, a group of pirates had witnessed the landing of the Ouranos shuttle and waited for the landing party to exit. A girl remained behind. Someone appearing to be familiar but at the distance he and his people were, he could not be certain. The plan was to blow up their only means of escape. There were seven armed women led by one Maraku man, his wings spread as they approached the shuttle. He preferred to surround himself with women. In the harsh surroundings he always found himself in it was a small comfort to have something nice to look at when the rest of his crew were muscular sweaty men. He did not care for men very much. He pulled out a portable scanner and raised an eyebrow upon noticing one lifesign still aboard the shuttle. Probably another pilot. He aimed his rifle at the shuttle and fired at its side, striking a spot just beside Yvette's head before shouting, "Come out with your hands up! Try anything funny and I'll blow your ship to bits and leave your corpses to rot." It was not an idle threat. A few well-placed shots would be enough to cripple the shuttle very quickly. A few more shots in the right spot would cause a chain-reaction leading to a very explosive outcome. Now that he was closer towards the girl, the details of her face were more familiar than he could have ever realized. He knew who this was but could not place his finger on who she was. Yet. "Pull a weapon and your friend in there will be the first to die." Back aboard the Ouranos, sounds of glass shattering could be heard on deck two, right beside Sickbay in the Astrolab. A strange whirring sound followed along with the dull hum of the power beginning to fail on the deck. The red warning lights dimmed until there was almost no light left on the deck. A figure, its outline almost invisible in the darkness, exited the Astrolab and headed towards the Briefing Room at the center of the deck. It vanished inside.
