Lets slow down a bit, so Maka-chan doesn't have to catch up much, yeah? I mean, she said we can continue without her posting, but no need to make her catch up too much, right?
I first thought it was some kid writing this. Then he provided his birthday. Please continue.
I watched one of the concert recordings and fell in love with it. And it seems that a lot of hard work is being put into making everything authentic. They're not trying to make it pretty; they want to tell a good story, which means making it as realistic as they can. Oh, and some new clips came out recently. This one's make favorite. I partially agree with you on this; singing live does make it easier for the actor to act, thus having them give good performances, but it can be tiring on ones voice if they have to end up having multiple takes. And with playback, they still do sing on set. And while they do make their acting decisions in the booth, it gives them more of a acting challenge when they do the real thing, which is always good. Playback, or live, each of them has their pros and cons in filmmaking. Les Miserables does seem like one of those musical movies that would seem to do better with living singing. It is, of course, a sung-through musical. I don't think Sweeney Todd would have done any better if they did live singing. And look at Chicago. It won Best Film when it came out and got Richard Gere an Oscar for Best Actor, and that was all pre recorded.
I was able to see it yesterday. And it seems like Disney still knows how to tell a great story. I'm not someone who played many video games growing up, so all the cameos of other characters weren't a big draw in for me. They were more played off as one note jokes, but since they weren't really all that important to the plot, I don't mind it. I really thought Sarah Silverman's character was going to annoy me, but she was a very well thought out character. I really sympathized with her, and they didn't play the "cute" and "kiddy" bits too much (I hated the duty jokes). Actually, I was surprised by how many jokes went over kids heads. When they referenced Children of the Corn, it was only me and one lady laughing hysterically for a good minute. I also liked how dark it would get, even towards the end. Yes, it's Disney, so they have to end it a certain way, but there were moments where it seemed it wasn't afraid to go down a different path. My only complaint is that they tried too hard making Ralph the "hero" character by making everyone else around him a ******. The random tenants in the Fix-it Felix Jr. world are just bullies for the sake of being bullies. And even Felix is guilty of it in the beginning. You're character isn't automatically good just because everyone else around him suck; that's not good developement. Really, it's a nitpick, but it happens so much in movies, that I feel I have to bring it up. All in all, to see it, and buy it when it comes out. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets some medals come awards season *shot*
Functional today. Been a bit down the past few days because medical stuff.
Haha, you're welcome. Had to double check to be honest. How've you been?
Columbus always hated getting left behind on missions. He found it just a waste of time just to guard the safe house, and even if any of the enemy showed up, the snippers would have hated them out before he got a cut of the action. So, on days like this, he waited in the kitchen, eating small bits of his rations. He then heard the yelling from downstairs. Thinking on his feet, he grabbed his chainsaw and started running. When he caught up with the rest of the group, he nearly laughed. Now he knew that he should've gone on the mission with everyone; there'd be less of a mess to pick up here. "Got cocky again, kid," Columbus said to Nikolia. "When's Terra gonna get here? She needs to see this."
I second this motion

Fears: trains, infection, politicians, windows Loves: his dead "family", soda, stars, Slim Jims Theme Song: Monster by Skillet (how original) On a personal note, sorry for not posting here earlier. Partially because I'm busy. Now, it seems like that I may have diabetes (both sides of my family have it in their genes, and my anti rejection medication had a tendency to mess with my blood sugar). Took two tests this past week and both said I had high blood sugar (the second test was lower but still high, according to my doctor). Going into clinic on Tuesday to get tested again. So, that's been on my mind for the past few days. I've been just flat out angry the past day and a half and have neglected everything. I'm really going to try to post more, but if I become less active or just disappear, you at least know why. Oh, and undead potato, or whatever
I feel like all I do now is apologize in this thread. Sorry for not being too active lately. Partially because I'm busy. Domain of Death Ganta and Juliet tried to find reason in the situation. They were now standing behind the rest of the group, getting their heads together. When they saw the rocks coming, they both acted out of their instinct. It was just like when they arrived here and fought against Ryoko. Juliet pulled out her sword again, but she knew it would be useless from this distance. Ganta readied his Ganta Gun and fired at a few rocks.
Just got back from watching it and I thought the exact same thing. I don't expect too much from Dreamworks animation these days (especially when they showed the trailer before the movie that seemed to be their response to Brave). They typically get all of these big name actors to be in their films and come up with half assed plots, terrible dialogue, and just a flat out annoying film. Even with all of that, I went into Rise of the Guardians with an open mind...and I really liked it. Yes, the plot is filled with cliches, predictable (and that becomes apparent when you figure out it is The Avengers), and had some annoying lines to entertain kids, but it was really enjoyable. It was obvious that there was a lot of love put into the film. The characters to me really felt alive by the actors and their designs. I absolutely loved how they changed up each character's design from the traditional look to something really unique. And the animation! Dear God! When they introduce Jack at the very beginning and seeing him discover his powers, that just made all of my cynicism melt away. The sled scene in the beginning was also amazing, well planned out, and it didn't feel like random filler. This is one that I'd definitely look for when it comes out on blu-ray, not just for how beautiful the movie looks, but also so I can see all the behind the scenes stuff.
Yeah. I just feel no motivation to do anything and I just feel angry all the time now.
