Anzu, so adorabu!! !
Wow Heart, good job at notes I'm not brave enough to even try. You're doing good.
Dear God, Fearless, my eyes instantly watered. How did you do that? ; ;
I love the emotion in this, Amethyst, as well as the voice! <3
Hee hee, thanks everybody. Rock on, PaW!
Gah, crap! I'm first?! It's fine, though. With speeches and theater, I love to be the first one to go, but I know my singing voice is terrible, so I always get nervous with it.
Well, the musical has only been around for a little bit over 25 years while the novel has been around since the 1800's. there've been multiple adaptations of the novel, many long before the musical was even thought of, wanting to tell the story in their own way. Heck, there's even an anime adaptation. And from what I hear from cast and crew interviews, a lot of the movie's influences are coming straight from the book, not just the musical. They're even adding a new song into the movie, one they say was stemmed from something in the book that is not really seen in the musical.
So, this is a project that I have been working on for a while now. Basically, I (as CreepyPasta Follower) read CreepyPasta stories I find on the Internet. I don't necessarily do anything special with the video, it's just a lone picture, so I find this more of an audio project. Anyway, I just wanted to share it with you guys. And feedback would be nice. I have a few more stories on the youtube channel, but they have poor mic quality. This is the first story I read with a good mic. Mr. Widemouth Spoiler
So you gonna take your desktop and throw it on the ground?
(Hoping this is the right place to post) Well, after listening so much to the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen and seeing Dark Knight Rises, I've decided to get into comic books (been more into manga). I've been apprehensive about picking up comic books thou because there are so many series and many if them seeing to be deep into their volume count and stories. I was waiting around at the book store and picked up "Legends of the Dark Knight" issue 2 simply because of what volume number it was. I also have two graphic novels, both I got for free at conventions (Bad Kids Go To Hell, signed by the creators, which I thoroughly enjoyed because of the pure insanity it was, and The Cleaners, which I haven't had time to read). Which comics could a newbie come into reading at this point in time?
I'm a Christian, and I could care less what people decide to believe as long as 1) you are not a dick by "feeling superior" to others because of your beliefs 2) you don't think you're automatically smarter because you do/do not believe in something 3) whatever you believe keeps you from stabbing me at the ATM.
I haven't had ham in a long time, so I decided to give myself a treat. Spoiler
The best anime I've seen, that's what it is.
All of my love. All of it. <3
You wish to go deeper into the dark? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it.
This is now cannon.
Absolutely Cannot Sing: I'm willing t try anything. Anything Else: I hope people request carol parodies *shot*
I saw this movie today, and it was pretty good. It seemed to be balancing a lot of things, mental illness, heartbreak, and putting trust in the world, but they seemed to pull it off quite well. It did seem to move a bit slow at times, but there always seemed to be something going on. What really made it work was all the dark comedy in the film and not shying away from much if the darker subject matter. I will say that a lot of the movie plays on coincidences to forward the plot, so some of it doesn't feel organic. I like seeing Bradley Cooper break away from his comedic roles to show how great of an actor he is. He was very emotionally vulnerable throughout the film, which really made you sympathize with him. And Jennifer Lawance has proven with this film that she is a very talented and open actress (never saw Winter's Bone and wasn't impressed with Hunger Games). She has to portray a whole range of emotions with her characters and made it all believable. There may be a possible Oscar nomination for her with this character, which she does deserve.
A few years ago, I carried around a "Free Hugs" sign whenever I went to anime conventions. What made me stop you ask? Well, when you're fifteen, it's still adorable, but it becomes just creepy when you're twenty. Although, when I was eighteen, I was attack-glomped by some girl simply because I cosplayed as L.
It's a sung through musical (meaning that there is little to no spoken dialogue, everything is in song) based off the MASSIVE novel by Victor Hugo. I have an unabridged edition and it's so thick, I could probably kill someone if I hit them in the right place. From little bits in the trailers, it looks like there will be tiny bits of regular dialogue, which is a good idea, in movie making terms at least. It'll help pace the story and maybe add scenes that'll help fill some plot holes.
