Cat didn't look up from the spellbook, but nodded at Kel's inquiry. "Yeah," was all she said. She was still feeling terrible, but suddenly she heard Beuce start begging Seiza to take the exam. He mentioned that she needed the command from the Guardian of Light and she smiled a bit. It was a nice gesture, she'd give him that, but it wasn't likely to make much of a difference. He'd said no, and unless a master waltzed through the door right now, it wasn't likely that they'd ever get any kind of chance anytime soon. She kept staring at the illegible runes in the book and felt just about ready to toss it out the window out of frustration. Nothing was going the way she needed it to.

He wasn't too concerned with Will or Willy, but he was surprised that Tasha had been the first one to try. She was already waiting by the door, her bloody hand ready to open her gateway to freedom. She calmly looked over at him, and he moved to her. "Are you insane?" "That was stupid!" He looked at the new lackey they had to deal with and shouted. "You want hobbies? Fine!" He pointed to Willy. "This guy likes getting drunk off his ass, sleeping on a couch and eating all the food in his fridge in one shot." He knew those traits a bit too well himself, but without missing a beat, he snapped his fingers and moved his finger over to Debbie Downer. "And this kid. Oh, this kid." Well, to be fair, the first half of S3 was pretty weak. The filler was mediocre at its best, but the beginning and end are well worth watching. BUT THEN HOLY CHRIST DOES IT PICK UP IN THE SECOND HALF LIKE IT'S RIDICULOUS HOW MUCH BETTER IT GOT POST-CHRISTMAS.
