Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland was a ****awesome game and I would kill your parents to get it an official release in the US, Moodkip To OP, if you want to play the game either import it, or pirate it.
Uhh, do you guys know anything about magazine publication >.> Magazine issues are published in the month before the actual Month of the issue, so the December issue of Gemaga was released yesterday ゲーマガblog: ゲーマガ12月本日発売 "December issue of Gemaga released today! - October 30th" The magazine and the DVDs are all already out as of yesterday
Children need to get beat to learn their lesson
And in doing so it does nothing more than fuel pointless console war discussion =P
If we both agree that games like Lair and Folklore and Lost Planet and Mario Strikers: Charged are good games on said consoles, but due to the standard of "must be above B- lololol" the list does not include them as such, then we should be in agreeance that opinions and personal impressions are better than cold hard facless numbers attatched to a name and compiled under a console name, and ergo said list isn't serving it's purpose in the first place
Isn't the whole point of the "Official Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft" threads to be in regards to what consoles have what games? If I want to know what games are good on a console, I should ask in the Console thread with people who actually own the console to give me a proper opinion, not consult a list of games that fit your standards of 'good' compiled in a thread of "This is what games are good on this console", I don't see the use of it besides to be used to draw conclusions about the 3 consoles, which is indicated by the posts like "wow this console has <number>" and "wow that console doesn't have <number>"
I don't quite see the purpose of all this if it wasn't meant as a comparison to be drawn between the 3 Next-Gen consoles, judging from the posts in this thread it certainly seems to be such.
Gamerankings isn't actually what some consider the best site for game reviews, they're actually ridiculously slow to get review scores and sometimes pick and choose which reviews they want to count towards the game score average, so most people actually prefer Gameranking's competitor, Metacritic.com who are said to have more experience as a website (as they also tally reviews of Books, Movies, etc.) and are much faster at collecting game reviews. Though it's debatable, Gamerankings vs Metacritic is like vgchartz vs nexgenwars to some people. And though you didn't specifically state it, but I'm sure it was an inquiry: I included PC and "next-gen" exclusives, because I would say this is a comparison of the 3 Next-Gen consoles, so if I asked you "What console do I get to play Gears of War", would you say "PS3" or "Wii"? No? You would say "The 360 is the Next-Gen console with Gears of War"? Then, ergo, Gears of War is a next-gen console exclusive of the 360 Same thing applies to RE4 and Twilight Princess. If I had a PS3, a 360, and a Wii in front of me, and you told me to pick up the one that plays Twilight Princess, which one am I plugging in and popping in a Twilight Princess disc? The Wii, ergo Twilight Princess is a Wii exclusive
Said list, excluding titles that are not platform/next-gen exclusive: The 360 90% and above BioShock -95.3% Halo 3 -93.4% Gears of War -93.8% Call of Duty 2 -90.0% 80% and above Forza Motorsport 2 -89.8% Castlevania: Symphony of the Night -89.0% Project Gotham Racing 3 -88.4% Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords -87.0% Project Gotham Racing 4 -86.2% Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved -86.0% Dead or Alive 4 -86.0% Dead Rising -85.3% Viva Pinata -84.6% Bomberman Live -84.0% Crackdown -83.5% Pac-Man Championship Edition -83.0% Condemned: Criminal Origins -82.5% Saints Row -82.2% Perfect Dark Zero -81.0% Uno -81.0% Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars -80.9% Kameo: Elements of Power -80.6% FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage -80.1% The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II -80.0% Total: 24 The PS3 90% and above Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction -91.1% 80% and above Resistance: Fall of Man -87.3% Ninja Gaiden Sigma -86.8% Everyday Shooter -84.0% Super Stardust HD -84.0% Warhawk -83.9% Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection -82.0% MotorStorm -82.6% Heavenly Sword -81.3% Total: 9 The Wii 90% and above The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess -94.2% Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition -91.2% Metroid Prime 3: Corruption -90.6% 80% and above Super Paper Mario -85.3% Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure -85.0% MLB Power Pros -82.0% WarioWare: Smooth Moves -81.7% Trauma Center: Second Opinion -80.5% Mario Strikers: Charged -80.0% Total: 9 The age of exclusives is dead indeed
Well, to be on topic: -Neither games will be coming to other consoles, it'd be silly to do so -I wouldn't consider either handheld a 'waste' to own, as both have huge libraries of great titles for you to enjoy -I'd rather we get 3 small titles that fill in the gaps in the story that we can have in less than a year on handhelds that are relatively affordable, than to jump straight into a big-budget PS3 game that will take 3+ years to release, we'll still have so many questions unanswered, and on a console that at the moment isn't entirely affordable
DjC sounds very familiair. Let's see, where have I heard this before? OH YEAH! It was the launch of the Playstation 2, now what happened at the PS2's launch again? I remember! The PS2 had no games available for it, the PS2 had one of the largest reported return rates of any console because people weren't satisfied with how little the PS2 satisfied them in the first year it launched. Now what does this sound like? Why, it sounds just like DjC. And what happened? The PS2 started getting a ton of great games over a year after it's launch, and suddenly every single person that complained of the PS2 not delivering on the hype, they had to go out and buy the PS2 a second time so that they could play all the great games available for it. Patience paid off for those who held on to the PS2, and the ones who cried foul about the PS2 not satisfying them had to go out and buy the console again as they were too foolish to realize that even if you''re not satisfied at the moment, holding on to the console guarantees you 5+ years of games that will available on the console if you just calm your balls down and wait
He already stated that he sold it for $50 less than it took him to buy it I would think that an intelligent person such as yourself, especially a Sony fan, would be aware that selling any console is never a 'very good idea'. You don't buy a console for what it delivers the very second you buy it, otherwise no one would ever buy consoles within their first year of existence, you buy a console for the 5+ years worth of games that will be available for it
I can tell you all the features of a PS3, does that mean I own one? No, that means I have access to the fantastical thing call 'the internet', or that I have atleast a meager understanding of current events in gaming culture The fact of the matter is, your opinion is extremely biased, because from what you've said, it sounds like you 'bought' the Wii with the very INTENTION of not liking it. You never even gave it a chance if you 'sold it the day after you got it', because anyone who isn't a complete idiot wouldn't toss away a console after the first day unless they never wanted to own it in the first place. Chances are you fabricated this entire story, you most likely played the console at your friends house and didn't like it, so you made up a story of how it was you who owned it, and then you say you 'sold it to your friend' after the first day because 'it was just so bad', so that you can force your opinion through a story to make it more believable
The Wii didn't satisfy you after 1 day of owning it? WHAT A SHOCK! Glad you gave it such an opportunity after spending $250 on it, and then sold it for, what, half that? No one would be stupid enough to do that, ergo, you never owned one and you're simply trolling your opinions through a story.
Well, "Sage" was an anonymous tip, so Xaldin didn't exactly have previous associations with the person, and considering their choice of name, they were most likely from 2chan, which is one of those "Japanese sites" I mentioned previously that usually are a source to Kingdom Hearts info If you want to know some of the websites we get information from, I can give you a list of some of the websites you usually check to see if there's new info
Uhh, usually there's no 'research' involved, pretty much all we do is search the same sets of websites and wait for other people to post new info. There is no huge process to it, just look at websites, if they post something KH related, then it gets posted on KH-Vids. There are no 'behind the scenes', it's just 'look at website, post info' Is there going to be a KH article in the next Famitsu? The hell if we know, but once Famitsu is released in Japan, Japanese websites post images of every page of the magazine for us, so all we have to do is look on the same 3-5 Japanese websites and wait for them to post them, and then we simply take them and post them on the website. Simple as that. There is no real 'research' to report on, if there's something new it either gets reported to us from other people, or we simply find it by looking at the same websites that we always get our info from.
I think it's funny that Repliku is stating my own opinion to me
You can have different tastes, I argued your usage of 'outgrow' To consider it 'outgrowing' them is idiotic, because if you 'outgrew' something because you're such a big mature adult, then why are you playing video games at all? If you turn up your nose and scoff at something calling it 'kiddy' or 'lol datz not matuerz', then you don't deserve to be playing video games, because here's the secret: video games are for children. Every single 'mature' game you play is being played by hundreds of thousands of 10 year olds who are getting the same "teeheee, I'm so mature, this game makes me feel like an adult because that guys head blew off' kick out of it as you are
Uh.h...Moodkip, have you ever played Star Fox Adventures? o-0
So, what's the video you're watching? Because I don't recall anything about "7 years in the future"
