Well, I've said this about most mafia games and I'll say it again. More often than not, the first day phase boils down to a popularity contest. Honestly, Jiku was Mafia last time and she was pretty damn helpful, but that's no guarantee that Mak is our enemy. And what about the other special roles, hmm? For all we know, he could be a Vigilante who's testing the waters before his first night. Now for the other people with votes. I'm too lazy to calculate the odds that Beau would be mafia two games in a row, but I'm pretty sure it'd be slim -- plus idk if Nova would let that happen. Krowley does seem like he's acting a little off, but then again it's Krowley and I wouldn't put it past him to be acting kind of weird on purpose as a townie. Since Lux is just a shot in the dark I won't go into detail on that, but honestly what can we do? At this point I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to be have any tells. We just have to lynch someone and hope.
Seven days until the end of summer vacation. Should I be seeing Dusks yet?
Unvote: TWTNW Right now, the odds are against us to hit anyone in the mafia but we might as well be decided on who dies first. Also apologies for not posting much so far. School starting in a week means lots of going out and shopping.
i'm gonna have to catch up so much in the morning... but before i go for the night: unvote Zazu vote TheWorldThatNeverWas i'm curious (also don 't want to push anyone into soft lynch territory so soon)
Welp, this is gonna be good. vote: tale wind just to spice things up~
Cat was starting to feel everything catch up with her. She got another blow or two off on the Behemoth, but she couldn't keep it up. She was getting tired -- which was a very bad sign given how many Heartless were still left. D'daear and Raisor were dealing with their fair share of Heartless on the ground, and Glen had finally decided to join them, so she figured she ought to get off the Behemoth for now and help them out. She stepped forward and felt it start to lift its head. "Really? Now??" She started to bolt, afraid that it might want to attack again. Once she reached its nose she jumped, pushing off as hard as she could to try and get some distance. Without even looking back she could hear it stomp a few feet on the ground in protest, but her fear of the Behemoth all but disappeared when an Assault Rider stepped right in front of her. It held a very long, very sharp lance and began to twirl it right where she was going to land. If she didn't do something she'd be sliced and diced before she hit the ground, and in the moment she tossed her Keyblade straight into his spinning spear. It stopped his momentum and seemed to catch him off guard, and she turned just enough mid-air to give him a good kick in the chest. He was wearing armor so it probably didn't do as much as she would've liked, but at this point she was just glad to still be in one piece. Her Keyblade reappeared in her hand and she breathed heavily. "I knew I shouldn't have skipped PE." At this point it was just her mumbling to herself, but it was true: for all the things she'd done, she wasn't exactly fit as a fiddle. There were hundreds of Heartless here, and a good number of them were at least twice her size. She heard a rabid barking come from beside her and saw another Defender -- or maybe one of the same ones from before -- to her right. She remembered her little trick and took a few steps back. This would require timing and precision, and she just hoped she could use these morons to her advantage. "Fight me, dog breath!" It growled, practically foaming at the mouth -- or shield? -- and spat a fireball at her. She grinned and turned back towards the Assault Rider before deflecting the attack and sending it towards the demented centaur. It seemed to pay more attention to the Defender than to her, and that gave her the opening she needed. She moved back slowly, focusing power into her blade and charged at him. Her Llama Head created sparks on the ground as she pushed forward until she slammed into the the Assault Rider and swung her blade up. It started to fall before it dissipated into a cloud of darkness, but it wasn't long before more trouble started. A group of three Soldiers came her way and started getting ready to pounce. She practically hissed at them and brought her blade up to block one of their attacks. "Can't you freaks just pick on someone else?" The commotion that surrounded them made things feel even more hopeless. There were just so many of them, and who knew if the onslaught was going to end anytime soon. Another Soldier rushed toward her and she knocked it back with her Keyblade. At the rate they were all coming, she didn't know if she could last for two more minutes, let alone twenty. 600 Words / 30 EXP / 105 EXP Total Spoiler: South Side Behemoth - 4BP (243/300 BP) Assault Rider - 1 Behemoth: 5 Defender: 12 Large body: 16 Assault Rider: 11 Morning Star: 14 Shadow: 25 Black fungus: 18 Bolt tower: 19 Crescendo: 7 Soldier: 12
Cat saw Raisor come toward her and D'daear. He seemed to be having some trouble with a few pesky Shadows and another Crescendo, but soon enough he finished up with them and moved over. "Alright, I think we all need to start wearing down some of the Behemoths. There's no way we can afford to let five of them just run around without a scratch." She looked toward the one closest to them. It didn't seem like it was causing too much trouble now, but she'd rather not wait for it to start acting up. Suddenly, she heard another roar. She turned and saw that it was the Defenders she'd managed to trick earlier. "Ugh, not now!" One spat a fireball her way and she deflected it easily enough. But it wasn't showing signs of stopping anytime soon. The Heartless raised its shield with a face and suddenly she had an idea. It was risky, but at the moment it seemed better than trying to approach the Behemoth directly. She took a few steps toward the monster, but not close enough that it could step on her or anything, and turned her Keyblade around so she could grip it backhand. "Here, poochie poochie!" The Defender looked up at her and moved toward her. She just stood there, but turned to her comrades. "Don't worry, I've got a plan." The shield started trying to bite her and she stepped back. It raised the shield into the air and she took advantage. Cat jumped onto the shield, taking care not to land anywhere near the mouth of the face, and then jumped toward the Behemoth's head. It bowed its head and began to growl, and she held out her Keyblade so the end could wrap around its horn. Once the blade and the horn connected, she pulled herself in and grabbed hold of the Heartless's protrusion with her left hand and steadied herself on its head. She looked down at D'daear and Raisor and gave them a thumbs up, signaling that she was alright. She flipped her blade back to normal and took a step back from the horn. "Let's see you step on this!" And she began swinging. The Behemoth's growls grew louder, so she could safely assume that this was working, and when she felt its weight shift, she paused her assault. She saw the horn start to glow and panicked a bit, looking around for something else she could use to stay on its back. And she remembered where she was and what she had in her hand. She looked down and brought her blade up before pushing it as far into the Heartless's back as she could. It seemed sturdy enough for her current needs, and she gripped it for dear life. "Anytime you want to help out here, guys!" She shouted to her comrades. At the very least they were starting to make a dent, but unfortunately that also just seemed to make it really mad. The Behemoth let out a fierce roar and Cat could feel a spark in the air -- literally. She looked up and saw bolts of lightning begin to rain down. Still holding onto the hilt of her blade, she spun around to avoid the strikes as best as she could. It was tedious, but she was determined to stay on and not get electrocuted. Once the onslaught stopped, it almost seemed to bow its head. "Now's your chance, guys!" She was surprised that they'd be so lucky as to have the thing invite them toward its weak point. She pulled her Keyblade out from its back and motioned for the other wielders to join her. "Come on!" 615 Words / 30 EXP / 85 EXP Total Spoiler: South Side Behemoth - 1 (281/300 BP) Behemoth: 5 Defender: 14 Large body: 17 Assault Rider: 14 Morning Star: 15 Shadow: 39 Black fungus: 18 Bolt tower: 20 Crescendo: 8 Soldier: 17
Cat noticed D'daear fighting a Large Body of his own. It seemed like he wasn't tough enough to take it down on his own, so she took advantage while its attention was on him and swung at the Heartless's back. He seemed to have weakened it a lot, because with a single swing she managed to bring it down. "You alright?" She heard a loud roar and focused her attention on the source: one of the Behemoths. It raised a leg and stomped on the ground, causing a small tremor. Honestly, it was terrifying to think that anything had that kind of power. "Honestly, I think we've gotta take the big guys down before we start whining about all these small fry. If we let those freaking things run around too long, it's gonna come back to bite us all." The five of them towered over the whole group, and she knew that there was no way any of them could take one down alone. If her ordeal with the Large Body earlier had taught her anything, it was that bigger baddies had a much less obvious weakness than their smaller cousins. She saw the Soldiers from before run out of the ring of mines, collectively tripping four of them in the process before finally disappearing. Behind where the Soldiers had just stood, a Crescendo started hopping towards the wielders. It seemed harmless enough, but quickly it began to dance -- or sing? maybe both? she honestly had no idea what to call it -- and she could see a healing aura surround it. As she felt the sting from the Soldier's scratch flare up again, she had a thought. Reacting in the moment, she ran towards it and jumped on top of its head. As her feet hit it, she saw large green orbs appear around it. She bounced off it and back to the ground and touched an orb in the process. As soon as she did she felt better, almost as if she'd used a potion or cast cure on herself. She quickly made a mental note to remember that little trick for the others in the room. "Thanks for the help little guy." She let her Keyblade disappear and did something she'd normally never try: she picked up the Crescendo and threw it towards the four remaining mines on the ground. It hit the ground on the first and skidded onto the other three, but that did the trick. She grinned at her own ingenuity and summoned her blade again before turning back to D'daear. "If one of 'em hits you, just pick up an orb. And if one of them tries healing itself, jump on it. It's a good way to save magic." She wasn't sure if he'd caught the whole thing, but more importantly she wanted him to help spread the word. Anything they could do to save magic and take out Heartless more effectively would be best. 492 Words / 25 EXP / 55 EXP Total Spoiler: South Side Large Body - 1 (1BP used) Soldier - 2 Crescendo - 1 Behemoth: 5 Defender: 14 Large body: 17 Assault Rider: 14 Morning Star: 15 Shadow: 43 Black fungus: 18 Bolt tower: 20 Crescendo: 9 Soldier: 20

Cat heard Beuce bark orders and sighed. There were more heavy hitters on the south side than she'd have liked and she was paired up with Glen. At the very least, she figured she could channel all her rage at the hordes of Heartless. She saw Raisor use a Defender's shield -- or head? she wasn't entirely sure of the distinction, if there even was one -- to catapult himself behind it and deal some damage. It was smart, but that face was constantly throwing blizzard and fire magic in their faces. And suddenly she had an idea. She turned to spot two Defenders, their shields pressed together to form a wall of magic. "Hey, you mangy mutts!" They both turned to her and spat out their magic, one fire and one blizzard. She grinned and brought her keyblade in front of her to deflect the fireball and shoot it straight into the blizzard. It created a blast of smoke and she jumped behind the two. She threw her blade towards them like a boomerang, each hit causing them to twitch and yelp. After the third hit, they both dissipated. She grinned, but almost on cue something ran into her, knocking her forward. She turned once she was on the ground and saw the Large Body scratching its head, almost as if it were confused. There were more of them scattered all around, and as she got up she could see it walking towards her. It seemed clumsy, but Heartless ran on instinct and their only instinct was to fight. She ran towards it, readying herself for a combo, but her first swing bounced off of its belly, practically knocking her back to the ground. "Can't you creeps ever just be easy to beat?" She figured the second verse would be the same as the first, but it was still ridiculously tedious to have to run or jump behind a guy just to land one hit, let alone kill him. It seemed like a waste of energy. Still, she noticed it getting ready to charge again, and she chuckled. "Fine, come and get me chubbs." It charged towards her and at the last second she rolled away. It stopped in its tracks and started scratching its head again, and she ran in to try for another combo. This time the hits landed and she kept going, the momentum of each swing tying the whole string of blows together. After a few hits, it turned and started throwing some kind of tantrum. It seemed mad, and she stepped back just in case. It stomped its feet a bit and then pounded its chest. Suddenly, it was sprinting towards her. She ran, but it followed her no matter how she dashed around. It stopped for a moment and she realized that she'd have to make a move. She focused on getting a good center of gravity where she stood and waited for it to charge again. As soon as it got close enough, she raised her Keyblade to guard the blow. It bounced back from the impact, as if it hadn't expected her to be that clever, and she hurried behind it while she still had an opening. Again she started swinging at its weak spot until it was finally defeated. Once the Large Body was done, she looked to see two Shadows run towards her. She took them both down effortlessly -- at least, it was effortless compared to what she'd just been through with the big guys -- but felt a scratch on her back. She shouted at the pain and saw two Soldiers twitching, almost as if they were celebrating their hit on her. She was mad, but it wasn't worth it to swing at these weaklings. She raised her Keyblade into the air and focused on casting a spell. "Mines!" The Soldiers were surrounded by eight bright mines on the floor. She grinned and took a few steps back. "What? Come and get me." The Heartless readied themselves and collectively four of the mines before disappearing. She winced. The scratch on her back still stung, but it was minor. She'd save her remaining magic in case anything bigger managed to get her. 654 Words / 30 EXP / 30 EXP Total Spoiler: South Side Large Body - 1 Shadow - 2 Behemoth: 5 Defender: 14 Large body: 18 Assault Rider: 14 Morning Star: 15 Shadow: 44 Black fungus: 18 Bolt tower: 20 Crescendo: 10 Soldier: 22
a fine as hell bae and now he is mine~~ (he is also only 22 which makes the age gap crisis i usually have almost a non-issue HALLELUJAH)
so yeah, Stiles Stilinski is my new bae and this only makes me even more excited for The Maze Runner because now I know Dylan 'O Brien was a good choice
All the remastered tracks sound great so far -- though Atlantica kind of sounds unchanged. It's also really cool to see some of these scenes in HD and with the Japanese VAs. I'm really excited for this to come out already...
