By seeing me post, you could probably guess what I'm going to say. Since this is your goodbye, might as well say one last thing.

You were a good friend.Things got between us, we both said and did things that were bad, and there is bad blood between us. I do not regret knowing you though. I honestly don't regret a single day. I really wish you wouldn't leave just because a few people are acting lame, and find a way to get on some kind of good footing.

Anyway, I honestly do wish you well on whatever you're going to do in life next. And, hey, if you need to say something, don't hesitate to send me a line. I hold onto no negative feelings or emotions. I still remember the girl I met three years ago, who I spent half the night talking to the first time we ever talked to each other. Just remember, everyone deserves to be happy.

    I will miss you.

Be good, do good, and try to be happy.

So, now that I have a functional computer again, I'm trying to get back into role playing. Granted, school is devouring a lot of my life lately, but I also need something that will help me relieve a lot of stress. Plus, I need another creative outlet.

Anyway, I've always been interested in trying to start up a Soul Eater RP; it seems like the perfect kind of show to have something based around. The world is so vast, and yet there is a lot of unexplored territory.

I kind of have a story in mind, where the witches try to fight back against the meisters (since the witch souls are needed to create a Deathscythe) and basically will lead into the war. Granted, I'm not married to the idea, it's just something that I have in mind.

Somewhere I would like input is is when it should take place; right after the anime's end (I'm more familiar with that story, and the manga is still ongoing), sometime in the way distant future, or some time in the very distant past, which could give a reason to why they now use witch's souls for complete their weapons. Going with right after the anime allows us to have familiar characters, but at any other place in time allows us to have even more exploration of the world and force us to have original characters.

Plus, I just want to see if anyone is interested in trying to start up a Soul Eater RP, and will try to keep it alive.

But, in a sense, having all of them at once could limit their programming. I'm getting the reason why Evangelion is premiering at 1 is just so they can please the Bleach and Naruto fans. I'd find it better if they only kept one of them, and had that extra hour for other anime.

From what I've read, they're showing the film to celebrate the one year anniversary. And One Piece is scheduled to come on near the end of 2013.

First off, I feel I have to clarify this for other people. The article clearly says that there no current plans for 2D animated films (full-length). All that means is that they have not come with something that would perfectly with that medium of storytelling.

I am a fan of traditional 2D animation, but I am also a fan of good storytelling. That's why I also like the CG films as well; as long as I'm told a good story, I have no complaints one way or the other. Sometimes you just have to go with what feels right for the story. Think of it this way, do you think Tangled would have been just as good if it was traditionally drawn. It probably would have had lot of issues that CG was able to help with a lot.

And even if they were to just turn away completely from 2D, I can understand why. It's a business decision, plain and simple. The truth is, Disney's core audience has always been the children of the current generation, and kids these days prefer CG movies to 2D ones. And before someone goes on an elitist rant on "these kids are stupid, '90s kids have all the good stuff, blah blah blah", this is not the kids fault at all. The only way things can get better is if there is progression. Just like how film slowly transitioned from silent, to sound, and to color, animation also has to evolve to explore new ground.

Look at the box office draw that has coming in for the last two traditional animated films by Disney, The Princess and the Frog and Winnie the Pooh. Both were acclaimed by critics, but it didn't bring in a lot of money during its theatrical run. Now look at the last two CG films, Tangled and Wreck-It-Ralph. Again, both critically acclaimed, but they were huge box office hits. That tells producers that people are just more interested in CG rather than 2D.

Also, yes, I know Frankenweenie was also done by Disney, but don't forget that it was also marketed as a Tim Burton film. While he is a good film maker, and I did love Frankenweenie, the reason it do poorly in the box office was because Burton hasn't had the best resume lately (his last good film probably being Sweeney Todd). A movie can be as much of a classic as Casablanca or Psycho, but if it is directed by someone current audiences don't trust, it's not going to bring in a lot of money. In Hollywood, you're only as good as your last film, which in this case was Dark Shadows, which wasn't a terrible film, but it wasn't great either.

Those aren't lyrics. The thread is over?

I am reaching, but I fall, and the stars are black and cold. As I stare into the void, of a world I cannot hold. I'll escape now from that world, from the world of Jean Valjean. There is nowhere I can turn. THERE IS NO WAY TO GO ON!
