Please say this is a joke. This looks like some kind of spoof trailer from YouTube.
It also makes for a funny review. XD Seriously, I think it's one of the best reviews I've written (if only they would put it on the site).
I think I've made it very clear in the past that I'm not a big fan of this series. That being said, Catching Fire is my favorite of the series. As a film standpoint, it looks really interesting. They tried their best not to basically show the entire movie in the trailer. It shows enough to get people interested without playing on the plot point that happens in the third act of the novel. It also looks like it tries to fix the problems that were in the original novel. This one looks like it's worth seeing.
Slugterra: Black’s Calling Story: The Shane Gang, consisting of Eli Shane, Trixie, Kord, and Pronto have taken the duty of protecting the hidden world of Slugterra from the control of the evil Doctor Thaddius Black. Using their slugs, which have the ability to use their special powers once they’ve reached 100 miles per hour, they fight to keep peace in the world and to heal the slugs that have been turned into dark creatures called Ghouls. It has been several months since Eli Shane has entered the world of Slugterra, still finding no sign of his father, who has been missing for what is probably several years. One day, the Shane Gang hear word of a special tournament being held by Dr. Black himself, calling or all master Slug-Slingers to attend. The prize for winning the tournament you may ask: Well, fame and glory obviously, but also a few prized slugs (which has obviously been turned into Ghouls). The catch is, the tournament turns into an all-out battle royale, where the winning team of slingers are the last ones standing. It seems that everyone in Slugterra is willing to join this competition and are looking for any way to win. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slugterra Rules: 1. I ask, more as a courtesy to me as well as your fellow RPers to use proper grammar, spelling, and all of that good stuff. I also ask that you have at least three sentences when you post. I know that some days are harder than others, but it’s not impossible to do. 2. Please, no godmodding or making your character ultra-powerful. Not only is it cheating, it’s no fun. It’s like the one rule of improve: say “yes” to whatever is said to you, no matter what. 3. This RP is going to be rated PG-13, which is specifically for the romance. It’s okay to have kissing, hugging, and maybe for it to be a bit sensual, but also be aware of taste. Swearing is okay, but be tasteful, and so is drinking, gambling, smoking, etc. 4. If you have an idea or a comment/complaint about what is going on, PLEASE TELL ME. I’m an open person, and I take criticism in a positive way. I can’t know what you want if you don’t tell me. 5. You can have as many characters as you wish, but try to limit how many cannon characters you have. As long as you can handle the load, any number of characters is fine. 5. Have fun! Characters:Eli - Tummer Trixie Kord Pronto Dr. Thaddius Black - Tummer El Diablos Nacho (If I’m missing any cannon characters, let me know. I’ve just started watching this show.) OOC:USERNAME: CHARACTER NAME: AGE: GENDER: CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: BEGINNING SLUGS - (can choose up to three to start for now. You can collect and win more slugs later on. And please, be sure to name them too. It just makes it more fun. ^^) SHORT BIO: EXTRA DETAILS: (will fill in own OOCs later) An official thread will be posted once we have enough members.
You saw it too? I must know your take.
Exactly !
Dude, I've only seen book one of Avatar, and not even all of that. I have no time (or interest) for Korra.
True. But it was also because I was writing up on it every week. And writing up my final overall thoughts about it all (as well as ranting about my thoughts on fan service shows) was very satisfying.
The Human Centipede /drops mic
Watched it just to be something to review. I knew I should have quit early on, but I can make some dumb decisions sometimes.
Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East
I really wished that I played more video games so I know this stuff. Alas, it doesn't look like the PS2 will get me into video games as much as everyone else seems to be.
Just plain bad: Miracle The Host (I have no feelings towards this one) Olympus Has Fallen Act of Valor So bad it's good: G. I. Joe Retaliation The Grudge 3 One Missed Call 3 Final
I'm angered because it's a terrible show. I'm someone who really cares for story and characters, and if a show can only get one of those factors right, then so be it. However, if the show decides to just abandon both to pander to an annoying audience simply because it will bring in money, that's where I get upset. And I probably wouldn't be this upset if they didn't mess up the ending the way they did. I mean, there's not making the landing, then there's not even being close to the fucking mark.
I am pissed, and all because of a stupid show. I need something to calm me down.
No match was found. I tried three times.
GOD DAMMIT! IT'S SO FAMILIAR. I can't think of it too. Now I'm going to obsess over it. I have no idea why, but I'm thinking Rugrats when I listen to it. Either that, or some kids show on Nick. I could be completely freaking wrong though.
Thank you! Someone said it!
They're for people who review films, tv, and such. Basically it's a free copy of the media sent to the reviewer so they have a chance to, well, review it. Granted, these are not new releases, and the movies are rather "underground" but I think it helps it spread word of mouth. It could also mean going to see a movie in theaters earlier, or just getting to see a small film for free (like I did with Starbuck) I've also seen some digital screeners sent to me though e-mail (The Happy Poet, Room 237 which blew my mind) bit it's nice to have my own copy of things.
Slugterra (Vol. 1) Woochi the Demon Slayer Pawn Can't wait to see them all.
