In a recent interview with Zap2it, Haley Joel Osment (English voice actor for the main protagonist; Sora) got in a few words regarding involvement in the next Kingdom Hearts game. He spoke with Square Enix following the grand reveal at E3 this year and hopes to keep voicing the optimistic boy in Kingdom Hearts III. Transcript for the brief mention can be read below; Credit to @Roxam for the news discovery.
Got a lot of the main points I thought about during the season's run, well done.I have to say the best thing I love about the show was it's opening. I loop that $hit every time I'm playing something violent. But the protagonist has something to be admired as well, having a likeable quality to a knowingly unpopular person. They really captured the ideals and struggles of wanting to be popular to an extreme. Like you mentioned, vomiting out of disgust of yourself. I can't say I liked the entire series that much, but from the beginning and ending episodes, people are able to get the general message the series conveys. On note of the review, I would have liked to see a little more footage and maybe a little less tint coming off your glasses. T'was a bit distracting. Overall it was a good review. Got your points across and even had some nice background music so there was little to no dead space.
Lex's[/url] eyes opened softly to the new day. Yesterday felt like such a rushed blur to him, that he didn't even think it happened. If not for his throbbing headache, he would have told himself that in fact, was a dream. The last he recalled was the coach, countering his violent offenses, but after that, nothing. He couldn't even recall if he was brought back to his room, or put into the detainment hall. It was all still fuzzy, but he knew he had to deal with it eventually. His own conscience was like a nagging voice in the back of his head, telling him to deal with the consequences laid out in front of him. But everything was still so puzzling to him. Did anyone get punished? Is he being sent away today? He turned to his clock to find that it was at almost half past. The announcements should have come on already. Or maybe they already past while he was asleep? He wouldn't label that possibility as out of the question. His head was like a broken television, continuously showing different images of a film. At one point he saw himself running, the next, fending off a dark girl with orange hair. It was a lot to wake up to. As his mind was still amidst, the announcements had come on with the routine "Ding-Dong." Lex listened intently about any word on yesterday's events. The microphone muffled a bit as Blood's voice came within earshot. "Good Morning students of Strange Academy for the Gifted. Today is Thursday, April 15th, 514." A long pause was placed after the date. "Have a good day," Blood finished as the static ended. He sat upright in his bed with his hand over his forehead. His initial resource on school events was uninformative, meaning he would have to go to the next least liked resource; Idle gossip. He would try and see if he could find out more from today's class; Science. From what his schedule told him, they met in room 105. A lot of doors in that department were off limit, which never helped easy any of their minds. Something told him he wouldn't do much learning today. Yesterday was still on his mind. But still, he rose from his sleep and tried to start the day off as he would any other; with hygiene.
Finally got around to explore the workings of my 3DS. My Friend code is 3024-5944-7230
Admittedly there were a few other GIFs I wanted to use. Couldn't find the one where Stan awkwardly sings Happy Birthday when he doesn't know what to sing.
V Wuzzles (Starring "Stardust") Stardust got as close to the stage as possible. She felt like such a kid again because today was the 20th anniversary of her childhood icons; the Wuzzles. The Wuzzles were a group of live performers dressed as odd creatures. The line-up was an assortment of four made up creatures. GlubGlub; a bear with a fish head, Meowzers; a cat made of TV parts, Slowpoke; a snail/turtle crossbreed, and Toothy; a baby dragon with only a few teeth. Toothy was by far, her favorite. As silly as she felt for being more excited than some of the children present, this was their biggest show yet, and she owed it to herself to see their final send off. So she didn't feel completely out of place, she brought along her four year old cousin to avoid being that one weirdo who doesn't have some one under the age of five. Also, she wasn't allowed to enter the establishment unless she had some one under the age of five. Something to do with suspicion of predators... It was almost an hour before the show actually begun, but when it did, it was worth the wait. Her eyes gleamed with childlike wonder, as she herself, felt like a little girl again. Watching their over the top performances and catchy songs always managed to put a smile on her face, and did the very same today. Act after act, the show went on for nearly 3 hours until an intermission came along. Since she didn't know when she would get to attend one of these again, she sprung out some extra cash to get some exclusive, backstage passes which she was able to use at any time during the show. More giddy than her cousin, she opted them to go and see the behind the scenes work of her childhood icons. Remaining in costume, the four lovable characters greeted both of them without the slightest hint of tire. They maintained as happy-go-lucky as they did on stage, making Stardust respect them even more. They took pictures, gave a tour and did as much as they could within the short, fifty minute time frame of the intermission. With fifteen minutes to spare, Toothy the dragon, suggested that they let her cousin go on stage with them for the next act. While she secretly wished it was her, this was the next best thing. Excited, she went along with the other three as they left to go get her ready for the upcoming performance. "Thanks so much for all this. I can't tell you how much this means to me- uhh, I mean, her. She loves you guys to pieces." Her anxiousness was practically leaking out of her. "D'aww, it's okay. We wuzzles do will go the extra mile, so a kid can smile!" She fangirled very hard in her head at the utterance of their classic catchphrase. As the other three returned, they gave a thumbs up to tell them they were ready to go back on stage. "Wait!" she called out. "I know you've done a lot, but is it okay if I see what you guys look like inside your costumes? I watched the sow when I was a little girl and I don't there's no information on your real names or faces. You've been doing this for twenty years, and I'm just really curious." huddling amongst themselves, Meowzers nodded her head and told her; "Anything for a fan! But we can't do it behind the stage. Kids might see us and ruin the illusion." Stardust completely understood and suggested if she showed them in the costume department. The performers agreed and took her to the room, locking the door so kids wouldn't find them. This would shatter the illusion for her herself, but Stardust felt so luck to know what they looked like underneath the masks. This excitement however was quickly turned into fear as she was held down by Slowpoke and GlubGlub. Both covering her mouth and pushing her arms against the ground. They were exceptionally strong. What was going on? What were they going to do to her? "Been a while since we've eaten... Thought we were going to have to wait until the end of the show..." Meowzers voice had dropped in tone and had a heavy rasp in it. a large tongue went out of her costume mouth and licked around the lips. "You see," Slowpoke added, "These aren't really costumes. We just got a good gig here. Do a little song and dance, and then have an all you can eat blowout after each show. Sure, people wonder where the missing people went, but no one ever expects it to be us..." Stardust was about to cry. The realistic furs and skins were beginning to look too real all of a sudden. she could see the defined features of their eyes, mouths, and hands. "Don't look so innocent." Toothy stood over her like a towering giant. "You wanted to see what was underneath our skins. Well now you get to look inside all four of us... from inside our stomachs!" Toothy's cute teeth grew sharp, as two dozen more popped from the folds of the gums. The other wuzzles had their chompers out and ready for chewing as well. "Since wuzzles share, lets see how many bites it takes to finish a grown up girl! Count with us if you can!" She shook her head and tried to get out of it, but she was pinned down to well. "One!" Toothy took a large bite from her left thigh, ripping out her flesh and muscle almost halfway to her bone. She couldn't screm loud past GlubGlub's furry paws. Tears rolled down her face as the next wuzzle counted. "Two!" Meowzers yanked a bite from her left shoulder. "Three!" Slowpoke spat acid on her ribcage, seeping past her skin and slowly burning away her flesh. This went on for a while, until a knock was heard at the door. "On in five!" a stagehand instructed. By this time the quzzles were through and returned to their cute and lovable forms. "Eighteen!" They all shouted as they cleaned any exess blood from their skin. "The clothes are my favorite!" Slowpoke commented. "But the bones are so crunchy, Toothy added. "Isn't it great to be friends and like different things?" Meowzers ended. They all nodded their heads and shared a laugh before going back on stage, where the audience cheered at the sight of their return.
Season 5 of Community begins tonight
Not sure on the exact game as an example, but I believe it got popular in the 90s. Earliest I heard of any examples would be SNES games. (Stuff like the Castlevania series) Here's a trope page if it's any help at all; http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RPGElements
Stories? Not that interesting, but I was meaning to write more this year.... Schedule for that evening; 9pm-10pm - Picked up to go to the party destination - Socialize until rest of the guests arrive. - Played Candy Crush for 10 minutes. Too much exposure is bad. - Table of alcohol increases inn size 10pm-11pm - Switch in and out of skype form my Laptop - Quickly watch my lightweight friends become intoxicated. Keeping close eyes on all 4 of them. - More guests arrive - First friend goes missing. Searching around, I found her outside smoking with others. - Return back inside to find a jager train of about 20 portions had started. Joined in. Joyous hollering ensued after completion. - Party broke out into song when Bohemian Rhapsody came on. Journey came afterwords - "Fun drunk" friend approaches me to get on the bandwagon or go home. I point to small tower of cups I made from Gin and tonics. Admittingly I should have just used the one, but I like to stack things... - Friend continues to poke my forehead as I am on my computer. Not that I haven't socialized, I just like to observe more than participate. - Friend pulls out recognizable 100 dollar bill. (For the non-Canadians, our money is multicolored) Tells me it's mine if I drink 13 drinks of his choosing to mark the end of 2013. I'm a pushover, so I say okay. Taking 100 dollars from an intoxicated friend left me with no remorse as it was. Couldn't even recall it the following morning. 11pm-1pm - Beginning of the 13 act's of alcohol, I had the first 7 acts listed above. - More socializing with people I haven't seen in years. - Drunk friend keeps putting shots in front of me (But these didn't count as acts, so... yeah.) - Countdown commences. Joyous hollering continues. - Friend #3 streaks in hid underwear. Sigh as I go out the door chasing after him. Me being slow, I wait for him to loop around before dragging him back inside with a sweater. - Betting friend is passed out at this point. I return to skype and call others to wish them a happy new year - He wakes up and sounding more intangible than a celebrity caught on camera says, "Drink b1tch." He points to whiskey, and I consume. - Find a blender and make margarita along with other fruity drinks. I think I actually liked these more because there were so nice and cold. - 2 friends go home, which is luckily across the street. - Finish off another 3 acts. 2am-6am - More people leave, while the passed out stay here. - With what little was left, I mixed the remains into a Long Island Iced Tea. I earned the 100 he gave me earlier, but it felt like I failed since I didn't feel much different. Just a little tired and hungry. - A friends of mine who held his liquor helps me escort the other one home. Nice half hour walk. - We laid him one of his backyard lawn chairs and had cigars while we sat in chairs discussing meaningless stuff. (Life and whatnot) - After Cigars we ordered a Pizza. (Surprised PizzaPizza served that early. And on New years day.) - Fell asleep and walked home the next morning. Later on in that morning... - Lost my Debit card.
Act I Finlandia. Some interesting Vodka to start it off. Act II Jäger Shots Act III Amaretto Sour. Something sweet for a change. Act IV Tequilla. I. Hate. This. Liquor. Act V Gin and Tonic. Because why not? Act VI Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. Queue pose. Act VII Spiced Eggnog. Leftover from Christmas. Tequilla was the combo breaker. You are a refreshing change of pace. Which I find hilarious since I'm tossing back drinks and your username is drugs. Hehe. Act VIII Whisky. Feels nice as I hold it in this arm chair. Act IX Friend took out the blender. Margaritas for all! Drinking this now and oh my god. This Mango drink. Oh my god. Soo good. I'm not even fond of Mango and yet, so nice and cold. Act X Appletons is found and is drunken. Drank? Drank. Edit - I now realize that you said Appletini and I'm sorry I couldn't concoct it. Act XI Rum and coke. Not fond of this, but my alcohol access is only so ranged. Act XII Bacardi 151. Yummm Act XIII Finishing off with a Long Island Iced Tea. See you tomorrow. Probably. Maybe. Probably.
Insert supportive phrase here, and have a happy near year KHV!
From what I've played in Kingdom Hearts chi, I think the connection will revolve around keyblade lore.
Playing the Walking Dead for the first time. Love the episodic storyline, characters, and even the hard choices I have to make.
Sorry, I meant 16. Chapter 16 - An Unexpected Visit (Page 155-165)
