I've been through may gaming addictions, when a new game comes out I play it to death until I get bored. But that's as far as it goes. I don't let it take over my life. There are limits to what you can call an addiction and mental addiction. It's like with alcohol. You can drink it often and get drunk often but you won't necessarily be addicted and crave it. There are boundaries to which you can call it a mental problem. Casually playing games, more hardcore gamers (which people do get addicted to certain games) and then you get the full on addicts which you tend to get for long never-ending games like WoW and any mumorpuger (MMORPG) where some take it too literally. But also those who take games to seriously may already have a mental problem which lead to gaming addiction. Like Asperger syndrome which is a form of autism, and this is a social deficiency which leads to people being obsessed with a certain thing, while lacking in other areas. Normally the obsession varies, but for some they could become obsessed with games and nail everything down to a fine tune.
So what a guy can rape someone and then murder someone else and won't be in jail? But if they happen to steal a pie that's when they take action? I'm sorry but they should stop and sentence someone after the first offense not just after three. It's like going. It's ok to murder 2 people but when it gets to 3, no.

The PS3 has been keeping up with the sales of the 360 in it's first year, with only within the last 2 months taking a leap forward. So the 360's year ahead has really helped them. But I see them both being even within a year or 2. Now for the Wii. Well it's currently in a league of it's own, with sales just going straight up. XD
Personally I wasn't able to pick an exact Top 10. I picked the games I really enjoyed. It's hard to prefer games which are totally different in genre and playablitiy.

A brillant series. The first one was a great platformer. But when Jak 2 came out it was such a surprise and difference in gameplay, but all so great. And to boot a bloody hard game, I never completed it. <> Jak 3, also very good.
That I disagree with. The Virtual console has the greatest selection of classics all the way up to the N64. All it needs it some original new titles. Beyond achievements, I don't see how the online experience between the PSN and the XBL differs. Sure the XBL interface is easier to use but Mircosoft have that experience. But when playing the game itself you get pretty much the same experience (if comparing the same game), same weapons, same maps, only thing that differs are the players, which I can't see that being a big factor. Though on the 360 you do get more voice chat, which is useful as their are times where I wished I had it because of some players stupidity. But I have that now, it's just a shame not many people use it beyond Warhawk. But I would perfer a good if silent experience then all the swearing you hear on XBL. But hey it's down to which a person perfers. But honestly I don't see the difference being all that large between to the 2 to justify XBL totally pwning PSN and must be the sole reason to get it. What I do agree with is that XBL is better than PSN. Which brings us back to the point of games which you would prefer.
Personally I would say that was debatable. There is such a big difference between the gameplay styles of Nero and Dante. Now for my Top 10..Oh...need to think about it. 10.) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - I dunno. I've always been a fan of the series, even after it went all ghetto. I picked this one because it's the one I've played the most. 9.) Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - I have a few Zelda games, some for the GBA and then I had the Wind Waker. I've always liked the games, it wasn't until Twilight Princess when i realised how great the series is. 8.) Tekken 3 - The Tekken game I've played the most. Was the first fighting game I played and is one of the best. 7.) Devil May Cry 3: A return back to form. Some don't like it because of the difficulty, but I praise it because of it. It was a return to form, and was just generaly badass. 6.)Elder Scrolls: Obilvion - The games depth, length and attention to character detail is just amazing. I'm about 50 hours of the way through and I feel there is so much left I need to do. 5.) Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ - The game itself is flawed, but I still have a blast playing it. It's just a series I highly enjoy, hence why i'm at a Kingdom Hearts forum. 4.) Metal Gear Soild: Twin Snakes - Well it's the same game as the original which is great as it is, but with updated graphics, the MGS2 Moveset and new cut-scenes. You can't go wrong. 3.) The Orange Box - Well instead of spreading the list out over the Top 10, I've included the whole bundle. It has the whole Half-Life 2 saga to date. Which on it's own is a great, original FPS to date. Portals which really surprised me how funny and great such a short game can be. And Team Fortress 2 which is a great online game, it's currently the online game I play the most. It's fun, over the top and so balanced. The package as a whole is top class. 2.) Super Smash Bros Melee: The best beat-em-up I've played. I've spent so long playing this game, doing all there needs to be done. And also was the game we played when friends came round. Bring on Brawl. 1.) Final Fantasy VII - Yes I picked the over-rated one, but if I can't choose between the ones I've played. So I picked the one who introduced to the series and go me into RPG's in the first place.
