What do you think of me? 8D What's your favorite form of torture? :3
I don't remember. I'll try to remember to ask him, but there's a possibility I might not talk to him until like, Wednesday. x_x;;;
I looked at your profile, and you were offline, and then a few minutes later you were online... o_o
Most of us don't exist yet. o_o
I think I remember that. XD
Silly, DF has the only existing voo-doo doll of me.
Do they have accounts? Or do you expect me to put "TDT's cousins"?
What really surprised me was that Switched was so small in comparison to Wedding. My initial theory was that they would be about the same length since they usually get grouped together as his two main stories. After considering the results, I realized that Wedding was started before Switched, so it got a head start. However, that head start alone isn't enough to account for the drastic difference. Another factor is that battle sequences are much more detailed than every-day life scenarios. Well-written battles simply require more text to successfully communicate the action that's going on. More text means more pages. But these two reasons don't explain the difference in length between Wedding and Triple M. As far as I know, Triple M was started before Wedding, and it had its fair share of battle scenes. This one I'm a bit unsure on, but I believe it may have been because Wedding actually focuses on two groups: Kairi/Namine fighting the Organization, and eveyrone else trying to find them. Writing for two different groups obviously would take up more room than just focusing on a single group of main characters. Yet another factor to consider is that DF himself said it was easier to write for already established characters than his originals. When something is easier to write, one is likely to be able to write more of it in a shorter period of time. Remember in the beginning when DF used to update Wedding almost every single day? The update speed quickly and easily made up for Triple M's head start over Wedding. The last factor I present to you that affects DF's stories, is me. With the addition of a girlfriend in his life, his main focus is no longer on his stories, but his adorable cutie. Even though I feel slightly guilty for delaying his updates, I'm still glad I've gotten to know him in the way I have. You may be wondering, "Why this huge post all of the sudden?", or "Why should I even care about why this guy's stories are the way they are?" As for the first question, I blame three things. First of all, I reread all of Triple M this morning. Second of all, I've been reading Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies by Jared Diamond. Think Repliku with 25 years of research taking steroids and writing a book. My third and final reason: I miss DF very muchly. Second question, I don't care if you care, but I've been wanting to make a Repliku-sized post for over a year and a half, and I finally found a topic that interested me enough to be able to write this much about. I feel important! :'D :<3: you all.
Pics or it didn't happen.
Well, I finally finished doing a count-up. Instead of changing the font to what I said earlier, I left it at Tahoma 8pt. It looks better anyways. So, here's the comparison in length of his 3 main stories: Wedding - 150 Triple M - 70 Switched - 53 Yup. Wedding is more than twice the size of Triple M, and nearly triple the size of Switched. The only reason Triple M seemed longer is because you, like most of us, read Wedding and Switched update-by-update, not all at once. I had a feeling Wedding would be longest, but even I'm surprised at just how long it really is. And he's not even done with any of them! ... If I wasn't this guy's girlfriend, I'd totally be a creepy stalker chick who needs to find a new obsession. ^^;
Now I'm curious how many pages each of his stories take in MS Word using a standard Times New Roman 12pt font. I could either try and copy/pasta and figure it out myself, or wait until like, Wednesday and ask him. ... And then I remembered he doesn't use MS Word. Crap.
I would so save that pic if I was on my computer! D:
'Sides, it's fun flirting in public, and this place is the closest to public I'm going to get with him for a long time. EDIT: Wait, when did I start shortening "besides" to "'sides"?
Nymph! 8D Do you remember me? Probably not...
OMG Near, tell Marly I'm super super super sorry, but my computer broke and I can't go on MSN for a few days. D:
Gah... Another problem to add to the list. Sometimes it won't let me sign in. Either it'll sit there forever with the blue and green guys circling around each other, or it'll pop up with a message saying "Sorry, we can't sign you in to messenger right now." I've tried disabling my firewall, restarting messenger, rebooting... Although I haven't had a chance to see if rebooting helped or not because my computer had an unrelated hardware error that forced me to shut it down and leave it that way until my dad could fix it on the weekend. I was able to sign into web messenger (which sucks, by the way) and my iPod and my laptop, but not my desktop.
I love how you made the names bold so lazy people could easily check if they were in there.
I half-planned it that way. 8D I'll probably take the spoiler tag out after the awards. I just want people to notice the most important part of...
I think that was the last one I read when I read everything through the first time. I liked it, but I was slightly confused because I had no idea what Megaman even was. XD So tempted to reread it...
Meh, I'm too tired to do a Repliku sized rant explaining that just because it's the internet doesn't mean we don't care about each other. <33333 <333333333333
