But it has to be a movie that is filled with a lot of inner conflict, or enough that satisfies my teacher's instructions. For me, it was pinned down between Les Mis (2013) and The Social Network, two films which I absolutely love and can get a deeper message from them. My teacher advised that a musical, especially one like Les Mis, could be troublesome, so I was allowed to do The Social Network. I don't think Spider-Man 2 really has much emotional depth in it, but it has been a while since I've seen it. There'a a lot messed up with Bruce in Batman Begins that probably would have been a good study as well. I have yet to see The Artist. PS. I left out the stuff with the twins because it would have made the essay go on longer than my teacher may have wanted. It was a four page minimum, and if I included them, it probably would have been close to ten pages. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yh9qodiyata8rp7/Relationship Status.docx
It's for my film appreciation class. We pick a movie, discuss the theme, characters needs and wants, opposing poles, etc.. I decided to write it up on The Social Network. Anyway, I got a rough draft done. I'm going to give it a quick look over. Is there anybody who would like to look at it to proofread or to give me your impressions of it?
Yeah, my editor was cool with it though. And I wasn't able to pull the all nighter last night anyway. The internet died out for some reason, and i...
Haha, that's true. I wasn't able to watch last night's episode though. The lightbulb on our tv burnt out, and that's the tv that has the DVR. Sad...
Damn you! I wanted to say that one too. He's so amazing. Part of me wants to say Takashi Shimizu just to see how that comes out. In all honesty though, I would go with Christopher Nolan. And Aaron Sorkin would do a collaboration of Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the script as well as the musical numbers. Yes, my life would be a musical; deal with it. And for shits and giggles, Danny Elfman would do the score.
The hell am I listening to? And why do I love it so much?
They're about an hour long, but sometimes things get a bit too intense. I mean, at the later half of the season, the cliffhangers get better and...
Ah, that's nice. I'm not sure if it's a show to marathon though. You could probably get through two episodes before you would go "okay, I need a...
Spoiler Well, for me, I don't go to movies that are adapted from other things (books, plays, shows, etc..) to see the book. I already have that in my head. And, to me, they were things that made the story telling much better. Like with the whole Pin thing. In the book, she was given the pin by the random girl who isn't that big of a character in the books (can't think of her name). It's a nice gesture. In the movie, it's given to her by her sister, which was originally a gift from her. That holds a lot more significance considering the kind of character people say Prim is (as I've stated before, HG characters are two dimensional from my view). Yeah, it would have been interesting to see the beasts with the players faces, but they are never brought up again in the books at all. It was an interesting plot point that may have gone somewhere, but Collins really dropped the ball with it. In the end, it wasn't necessary to put in. Since it wasn't that necessary, it was something that could be easily cut.
Red! The blood of angry men! Black! the Dark of ages past! Red! A world about to dawn! Black! The night that ends at last!
Wasn't your avatar a gif? What happened to it? ;_;
It's not fair that this game hates me.
Yeah, I know; hopefully I'm successful this time. EDIT Fuck
I'm not quite sure what the numbers mean, but it would be cool to pick a song.
