I don't think anybody has translated volumes 1-3 since the anime adapted those but 4-6 and 9 have been trarnslated by anni-fiesta. At first I was like "Is he getting on my case for not including the 'Vermillion'" and then I looked at your avatar again and was like "****! I'm an idiot!". Completely forgot about Aoko. I'd play a game. The chess piece in this game will be the "heart". Now I cannot manipulate 100% a person's heart but what I can do is give them a slight push on the back. This. Protagonist doesn't necessarily mean hero and antagonist doesn't necessarily mean villain. It all depends on the point of view. Everybody is the protagonist of their own story because they're obviously the principal character of it and the one who drives it. They can also be the antagonist and side characters to other people's story. Now what kind of protagonist/antagonist/side character they are is a completely different thing and that's kind of what this discussion is turning into.
