He could smell the powers of the being of humanity on this guy. He tried to refrain himself from making any actions though, which may prevent him from using this person to his advantage

Before he thought that he had the upperhand but after that whole thing, face it, he might as well have been treated as a harmless puppy. He grumbled, as his eyes turned back to normal and he put away his sword.

I am not so easily fooled you know" he said, keeping his sword raised at her, obviously not a very friendly expressing being displayed on his face
