Nate leaned against a wall, looking at the towns folk. No crime occuring, no fights. Not even a simple duel to keep him entertained. Breaking the sword did nothing, as her attack only caused one of the many mechenisms it helled to be triggered as he quickly had to let go of the sword, as in a sense, one half of the blade and hilt fell downward, connecting with the half it was once attatched to in a different way, as he quickly grabbed it, the sword now acting as a double sword, as he quickly had to spin around to grab a much skinnier sword which was also falling, grabbing it by the hilt and holding the grip of it with the blade pointing in the opposite direction of his enemies, while holding the double edged sword in his right hand. "Watcha gonna do about it if I don't, eh lover boy?" Ichiba asked Holden. ooc: ya, i 4got if I mentioned about the different features of the sword. But ya, as u can tell its not normal :P
"Well obviously energy attacks won't work since we're already evenly matched" Ichiba said with a grin as he ran at her, and began slashing at her with his sword.
"Fool" he said, as his eyes turned black, acting the same as a demon might, as he shoved both hands out infront of them and then quickly outspread them, as they spread, a shield covered only the front of him, leaving all other sides open for attack, as the darkness took the hit from the lightning, acting some what as a de-conductor due to its unnatural energy scource, and at the same time of the lightning hit it, it was as if it had pushed into it, as the shield lunged forward from the reaction, seperated itself into tiny spikes, almost as if bullets. "As if I would be taken down by something so simple" he said, standing there. "Demons are not the only ones who can hold their own in a fight anyways"
"Then perish!" Ichiba said, as he raised his sword to strike at Holden, as he slashed downward, sending a sharp wave of dark energy at Holden, hoping for it to slice striaght through him and then the girl behind
