Here are some tips that ice picked up over the past few years.

    1. Buy the books no matter what from the bookstore. If the teacher ends up saying you don't need it for one reason or another, return it. Your scholarship/loans/whatever paid for it, so returning it will give you a full refund and put money in your pocket.

    2. It is okay to fail. The world won't end. It surprisingly becomes easier once you know that. Once you get that degree, no one is going to ask what your grades are like.

    3. Always take a class that goes with your personal interests.

    4. Take the class that everyone complains about the teacher that he is either too difficult or too mean. It will be the most entertaining class that semester.

It's called variety. I mean, my favorite show is Madoka Magica, but I also enjoy Cat Planet Cuties.

Apparently Shane Black (director of Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and Iron Man 3) is a big fan of Death Note, although I'm not sure if that's before or after he was picked to direct the American remake. He fought with Warner Bros. because the studio wanted him to get rid of the Shinigami aspect, but he knew that they were important to the story beyond the scope of the plot.

Usually, I can find a few really good books (half of my library is probably books from that store), and I decided to look through the manga that they had there. They usually don't have a lot or have nothing real interesting (they do have plenty of original Japanese print manga though). While searching, I found the first volume of something called Confidential Confessions. The whole idea of it being a dark and depressing manga got me interested.

Holy crap, the first story really got to me. Good plotting, okay characters, but really well done. Now I kind of wish I did get volume 4 there as well if I had realized that they're not continuing stories,

If I remember the proper use of mangaka, mine would be Takeshi Obata. While I'll I've read of him is with Tsugumi Obata (Death Note, Bakuman), but I really love the detail he puts in his art. Obata also does a great job of capturing tone and Atmosphere.

My iPad isn't allowing me to see the entire code, but from what I can see, I would say put the link/image/whatever before the code for the font. The system is very picky like that.

Then, I'm not quite sure what's up. Maybe the link is just broken, copied wrong, or something else.

If it's a gif, then it should work. Do you try to use the code (IMG) or do you just click the picture button and put the link there. In my experience, clicking the picture button works a lot better.

What are you trying to do exactly? Are you importing it directly from your computer? To me, it's sometimes just easier to upload it somewhere (like photobucket) and just put it I like a regular image file. Or have you already tried that?

It's for comedic effect. And Jesu (who I've been a fan of for a long time) actually did the majority of the writing for this particular episode.

And I would say watch Summer Wars. Same director as Our War Game, same concept as Our War Game, but a completely different (and more interesting IMO) story.

Here's the only instrumental I can find. I slowed it down in audacity to make it more managable.
