Magical Girl Joseluis's hair color: sky blue, outfit theme: maid, weapon: spiked boots. I am strangely okay with this.
Madoka died for your sins.
So yeah, yesterday I turned 21. I asked my doctor, and he says it's okay for me to have the occasional drink. So, my cousins decided to take me out last night and went to an Applebee's. and what was my first drink you may ask? It was an appletini. I have to say that it was very sweet, almost like a red slushed. Everyone seemed to be enjoying them (everyone got an appletini), although there was a general disappointment that they were red instead of green. I'll need to make a mental note that the next time I get one, I'll need to tell them to make it a Granny Smith instead of a red delicious.
I go with Cat. Maybe not a very successful hero, but a hero none the less.
How am I not nominated? I was on here (someone else typed for me) during the whole transplant situation.
That actually made me smile.
Habit, that's it .
Fighting the Mandarin.
To me, it feels very much like Sword Art Online, but with better characters and a better story. A lot of it id dumb, but it is enjoyably dumb
Wait a minute. He had a character?
I understand that feeling. When I first watched it last year, I couldn't stop. And it kept getting better and better.
Because it's addicting. Bitch.
Spoiler I agree with a lot of that. However, I actually liked that they accomplished the goal early on. It was a nice change of pace than the normal formula, and allowed some good bonding moments for the characters. To me, the movie was about these four people finding security as themselves and bond into a very messed up family, and I think they did that very well. It's not very inventive, but after seeing The Heat and Identity Theif, this was a breath of fresh air for me.
Yeah, and it gives a new take on a well known story. And James Wan does a great job behind the camera; I'd love to see what he does with it. And I was talking about The Conjuring; the family actually lived in that house for nine years while in the movie, they probably lived there for a few months. Again, I don't really care that they embellished on the facts. And one of the victims wrote a book about the experience (one of the daughters, and it was published rather recently), House of Darkness, House of Light. That was used to help bring The Conjuring to life as well as aid from Lorraine Warren (first hand experience, documents, and other stuff).
Spoiler I love at the end of the movie that they made a nudge at Ammityville, but if you look at the timeline of the movie, that isn't supposed to happen for another several years when I looked it up. I've actually heard that the actual true story lasted nine years. I don't care if movies embellish on reality; the main job is to tell a story that entertains, and they did that well. I really need to pick up that book, after I finish The Cockoo's Calling of course.
Wait, is it three, then we song "Ahh," or do we do it on three?
I really enjoyed the movie. It had a strong message of family and unity, some of the scares actually got me, the acting was well done, and I'm impressed that most of the effects were practical.
Well, comedy and horror are the two most subjective movie genres, so yeah, I get it.
