I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware!
Just so I get the straight, can it be during the year 1970, or is it all before?
Ohh, Cat's my neighbor... Make friend or set arson to all Dr. Who related items... *sneaks into the shadows*
Okay, I'll try to remember everything. It's been a while since I last read the books. I wouldn't call Katniss a solid character. Although she is the narrator, I felt nothing for her throughout most of the series. I had no reason to root for her. She just seemed like a Mary Sue that was pretty clueless when you know that she knows better (just like Bella). I do say that Catching Fire just had a better story, had more fleshed out characters, but I still have to say that Katniss is just a boring protagonist. I want to root for her to succeed, but I need a reason why. The Catching Fire movie did a much better job than the books did. I will say it's not the worst series out there, but that doesn't take away my lukewarm feeling to it. I mean, I have a friend who liked the first book but absolutely hates the sequels. It's really one of those series that depends on person to person,
I'm not a big fan of the books. Hell, I'm not a fan. If you're looking for a well written female protagonist, watch the movies, they do characterization so much better than the books. Katniss goes through very little change in the books; the way she starts in the certain book is who she will be through the rest of that book to the very end. Basically, in the novels, she's Bella with a bow. I will say that Catching Fire is the only well written book in the series, and is worth a read. Mockingjay is just a disappointment with a lot of padding (in fact, CF and MJ could have been just one book if they weren't padded out so much).
A court room if we ever need it. And my room.

According to the early results, everything is still good!
Happy birthday dude.
Everyone remember that transplant I got just over a year ago. Well, today, in a few minutes, I'm going to have my annual catherization as well as other tests. Gonna be sore in a few hours. XDX
I read them all over a year ago and was lukewarm to the entire series, while I didn't like the third book at all (and they're turning it into two movies, which is a rant that I don't want to get into). It's been a while since I read Catching Fire, but it felt like the only book that had something that felt like tension. The review I listened to really said that it is better than the first movie and focuses on telling a good story instead of being a faithful adaptation, so take that for what its worth. Personally, when it comes to adaptions, as long as it keeps the message and feeling of the book, I don't mind changes.
The second book was the only one I liked in the series, so I have some hope for it (I liked the first movie better than I did the book). And after listening to the Spill review, I feel like I'm going to enjoy this film.
I have two theories that a lot of people may not agree with, but my gut tells me that it is all a possibility. First (and completely unlikely), Sora gives into the darkness in his heart, for real this time. A lot of the story is spent from the view of Riku, especially DDD. He went into the darkness and now the story has been focusing on his redemption of a hero. He's been able to find a balance between the light and dark in his heart, which is one of the big morals in Kingdom Hearts. Sora hasn't done this; there is not a balance in his heart between light and darkness. Something tells me that the way he is now won't be constant, that something will embed into his heart to force that imbalance into the opposite direction. Second, King Mickey will die. I'm kind of wanting for this, not because I dislike the lovable mascot, but because it feels right. As the game series grows older, so do the fans, and they are wanting something a bit more mature. Naturally, the games have gotten darker as time progressed. Mickey has always been there to bail Sora and Riku out, but the two need to learn to do things on their own. Think about Gandalf, Dumbledore, or any other great story where the hero has to face off against the darkness. At some point, the mentor has to be taken out in order for the hero to prove himself. Granted, it seems that Yen Sid has been taking up more of the mentor spotlight so maybe he could be the one killed, but I don't think that would have as much of an effect in the grand scheme of things. And I really hope they do something interesting with Lea because [ommited long rant about how bring back Axel was just a move to get fan girls to buy the game and he shouldn't have been brought back and that he is absolutely useless and they are ruining his character].
