Well, it might not have been part of the game, but when pokemon first aired we had that episode where they showed the three beasts along with ho-oh, long before generation two even came out. They might be doing something along those lines with this

I'll be amazed if we actually get a Z version for generation 6. What I want is a fricken' emerald remake. But since that's not happening, the next version better have a lot more use for surf again, or not be as incredibly linear as the last two generations have been.

I just kept getting all those darn missions, and somehow it went from all of them being easy, to all of them being very hard. It's not like the very hard is actually "hard" per se, it's just I seem to take a lot more damage, so any time I lose focus, which is often, I die. In retrospect though, I've only died a few times so far in the whole game. I like the story, but getting past all those missions just to get specific items is annoying. I remember i had just gotten past chapter....8 i believe? I know I was getting past the halfway point

It makes me remember I still have yet to complete that game. I think I stopped because of all the missions....now I have Digimon to play, and PXZ2, Fire Emblem, and more games will come out soon. Wonder when I'll get to playing it, much less beating it

    Question

Are the Hyperdimension Neptunia games any good? I keep coming back to them and looking at them because I see them here and there, and I debate if I want to try them or not.

And apparently they are on sale on steam for up to 70% off, so any response would be good.

This is one of those examples of "Neither wins". I'm not a fan of the original Digimon opening, but a lot of the japanese openings I wasn't a fan of either.

U.S. openings are what got me to start enjoying anime openings for the most part. Yugioh's opening, Winx Club, Mew Mew Power, Dragon Ball Z, Shaman King, and all those other shows shown on saturday mornings. Looking back, my childhood was filled with a lot of magical girl anime. Ah Foxbox and Kids WB! how I miss you....sort of

And I don't care what you say, even if the dub itself was bad, this opening is still one of my top favorite openings, even if it's just from the nostaliga factor

    Oh, and Cardcaptors of course

Frontier is my favorite open, and while data squad is annoying the first bit, it gets a little better a few seconds in. I'm still unsure about Fusion. Parts of me likes it, while other parts hate it.

I personally liked Digimon Frontier the most because the protagonists actually took part in the fights instead of standing there yeling at their partners who are doing all the fighting. Tamers kind of had them doing something, but only as a supportive role. Data Squad gets pretty good in the later part if you ask me, and it definitely has one of the more darker tones set in the series.

What the effect for PlatinumNumemon? Is it also double exp or something? Where do you do your training after you've reverted them or digivolved them?

And so far I've got Angewomon, WarGrowlmon, MegaSeadramon, Rapidmon, and DoruGreymon. I'm thinking for mega levels I want Examon, Mastemon (which looks awesome, but I'm not sure how you get Ability up to 80), and maybe ShineGreymon. I don't want any megas that other people use in the story because I want an original team. And I know some of them because I'd checked up info on this game long before it came to America

I've tried to understand this series' continuity, but I fail to understand it at all. So first off, seasons 1 and 2 are the only thing that tie to each other, because the very first thing you notice is that one of the Holy Beasts that shows up is in Season 3, but there's no mention of it at all. Online it says apparently they were sealed by the Digimon Emperor, but there's no mention of that either in Season 3.

And then there's the games where you play as some kid who takes part in the background of seasons 1 and 2, and shows up in the season 3 show, and even in a flashback in season 2, but nothing relates to it besides his silhouette.

Oh, and let's not forget the Olympus XII and Royal Knights. I can't even tell who's supposed to be the higher point of authority. Plus, is this all on the same place? Because you have Yggdrasil who's supposed to be the God of the digital world, but it's only on one server of the network, who supposedly has the royal knights and claims to go to another server to fight the Olympus XII. Not too mention, apparently Yggdrasil lost some of its body or something to Bagramon, who's in the Digimon Fusion series, but there's no mention of Yggdrasil in the show outside of Data Squad. But Yggdrasil shows up in some of the Digimon games, and I can't tell if that's the same Yggdrasil, or if it's even part of the continuity.

Not too mention, what about the fact that digimon is a card game in season 3, but no one knows of them in data squad until they find that portal or whatever, and in Fusion they apparently have existed long before technology, or something like that?

Gah, my head hurts. Part of this makes sense, but other parts don't.

I'm working on mine right now, and it is enjoyable. I just wish there was an easier way to level up your digimon once you digivolved them, or reverted them, because it can take a while to get them back up to even the 30's. There's a trick where you can grind the Gold Cup using PlatinumSukamon, but it still takes a while, and once you beat the cups, as far as I've noticed so far, you can't go back to them, making the one good form of experience not really a viable means of leveling up quickly.

I'd also like to add that being able to have more digimon is reserve is nice, since it means you're not really just limited to 3 digimon. But it is annoying having that memory space that you have to increase to use any of the digimon you like, even if it makes sense that stronger digimon take up more data.

I would also like to point out that having to wait a full 35 minutes of real-time for the digimon farm investigations is annoying. I can't tell if they meant for that to be a useful thing or not.

The battles are nice though, and it's interesting trying to fight while watching both data types and elemental types at the same time. So you can have an enemy that's a data and you a virus, but it could be water and you fire, meaning you don't get the X3 bonus damage.

I'm only 5 chapters in so far, with about 12 hours of gameplay (i digivolved and reverted a few times to up stats at first), so I'm guessing this game either goes on a while, or I'm just slow.
