Seriously. I brought this up in a Spam Zone thread, but I wanted to continue this discussion. I don't understand why so many people think it's a horrible idea. I'm in a highly successful club with a bunch of awesome members. I don't see the problem here.

    Discuss.

Psh, my mom said Honors and AP were the same thing. Oh well.

Anyone who thinks an anime club is just a bunch of fat kids sitting around and watching naruto all day obviously has never been to a good club.

For my club, we meet for two hours every day after school. On Mondays, we watch Shojo (girls anime), on Tuesday we watch Shonen (boys anime), Wednesday is whatever the seniors who graduated the year before wanna do, Thursdays we learn about Asian culture and stuff, and Fridays are video gaming.

We also go on outings on weekends to places like the Asian Art Museum, Japantown, etc.

And our convention, ASAHiCon, is in March.

My keyboarding teacher last year was rumored to look down girls' shirts while he was grading their work. I personally thought he wasn't the most intelligent teacher I had.... I knew more about computers than he did. I taught him the Ctrl commands for Copy and Paste.

On Friday, some of my club members and I were trying to advertise to this one freshman, then his mom walks over, and she's all like "So all you do is sit around and watch cartoons all day? Oh hell no." then she started to take her kid and leave. Then Ebner, the guy in charge of the club, steps in and starts talking about culture and stuff and also event planning because we do a convention in March. After he was done talking, she turned to her son and was like "I think you'd better join this club." My friend Jorden and I jaw-dropped.

Meh, since it's a math class, you should be fine as long as you're really good at math.

Taking an honors class freshman year? Good for you, but at the same time, that stuff is super hard.

Skillet, Red, Flyleaf, Thousand Foot Krutch, Fireflight, Anberlin, Superchick...

Those are my personal favorites right there.

I'm taking an AP class myself (which is pretty much the same thing) and all my friends who took the class last year tell me that it's a lot harder and requires a lot more working and thinking. But, in the end, you'll know a LOT more than your friends in the CP/regular classes. Think college level work.

Good luck on the Anime club. It may be hard the first couple of years, but if you keep going, you can turn it into something awesome. Also, if you want to try and convince parents to let their kids join, don't just sell the anime/cartoon stuff. Sell the fact that you teach Japanese culture through animation, and that the Japanese culture is highly respectful of elders. They'll love it.

    My lunch schedule is weird.

Which lunch you get is based on the locaton of your 5th and 6th period classes. If I get the schedule I want, I'll have first lunch on odd days, and 2nd lunch on even days.

1st lunch, you go to 3/4, go to lunch, go to 5/6.
2nd lunch, you go to 3/4, you go to 5/6 for an hour, you go to lunch, you come back to 5/6.

Last year I had both first lunches.

They gave me all the classes I asked for except they gave me Tennis skills instead of Driver's Ed, which my mom would rather have me do through the school than pay for.

By body, I meant shoulders. Nothing else. Also, I was mostly kidding.

EDIT: Just curious, without looking at my profile, how old do you think I am, just from the way I act and stuff?

You weren't online at the time, therefore, checking the source was quicker and easier. Plus I don't like to ask for help if I can figure it own on my own.

Oh, and I'm planning on moving Biology to 6, dropping Tennis Skills, not having a 7 S1, and taking Health & Careers S2. Or, my mom said that if I didn't want to take that class, she would come up with some religious objection.

Ok, I'm on a block schedule, so that means that on even days, I go to 2nd, 4th, and 6th period for two hours each, and on odd days I go to 1st, 3rd, and 5th for two hours each. I go to 7th for an hour every day.

The classes marked YR are year-long. The classes marked S1/S2 are only one semester long.

I'm sorry, but I wasn't very fond of vampires even before Twilight, so my opinion isn't entirely based on that.

Guys... Horrible sunburn. And I don't even have DF here with an excuse to rub aloe vera lotion all over me. Darnit.

I'm not an athlete. At all. Any of the other PE classes would be too hard for me. And walking around for a couple hours listening to my iPod doesn't seem so bad.

Freshman PE is simply called PE.

Sophomores and up get choices, like Fitness Walking, Tennis Skills, Bowling, Soccer, Weight Training, etc.
