s a m e Velocity 2X is also looking like a pretty fun time, this is so much harder than I thought it'd be ;_______;
Kill la Kill is a fun romp if you're willing to give it a try. The fanservice is very in your face, though it does get explained in tidbits and more or less outright stated why the outfits are towards the end. Of course, that doesn't justify some troubling aspects within some episodes of the show, particularly in the beginning (Ryuko's embarassment not being treated seriously by others, Mako's dad/brother perving on her constantly, and the aggressively sexual introduction of Senketsu). Those aspects mostly stop, although near the last third of the series the villain has a habit of sexual abuse (and surprisingly is a woman herself). On the bright side, the main female characters are dynamic & incredibly enjoyable to watch. Their stories are all their own, and you get to see them develop across the series without taking backseat to a male character/having another character completely solve all of their life troubles just by meeting them. Satsuki Kiryuin is probably one of the best female characters in the anime that I've seen, and her theme song is glorious. The fights and just the show itself are so over the top and utter insanity -- if you watch and end up liking Gurren Lagann, you'll like this show too.
Spoiler 1. She was trying to act tough on the outside, but she was actually afraid of the Spirit World and being left alone to fend for herself. She felt small and powerless, and the Spirit World made her appear that way until she confronted her fears. 2. He died, and because he very spiritual, he ended up there. 3. Spirit World is weird & does not abide by the laws of the physical plane. 4. Spirit World is weird.

Well, we don't have much indication at present to determine if citizens are being malicious or not considering the lockdown on news coverage and all. I do agree and hope there haven't been any malicious plans protestors have been carrying out, but so far evidence has been pointing to them (citizens) being peaceful. EDIT: Interestingly enough, a woman who lives near Ferguson has been replying to John Legend's tweets about the subject. She's stated that there have been some rioters who have burned down a gas station and a few local businesses, some of whom were from the actual city (she's in a suburb). Though, it is important to note that these are rioters as opposed to the protestors, who she stated in an earlier tweet to be rather peaceful. On the other hand, what Anonymous is doing is rather questionable by involving the polices' kids into the conflict (granted, the kids of Ferguson citizens have no choice but to be involved).
This Tumblr post covers it quite well, with multiple sources provided (warning: there is a graphic picture of Mike Brown within the post, there's a warning there as well so you can avoid clicking it). Basically, after he was murdered by the police officer, a group of peaceful protestors approached the police station to reason and explain why this was, frankly, absolutely unnecessary and horrific to do. Following this, they approached the police station and that's when things started to get out of hand on the end of the police, as you can read about here. But the fact remains through all of this is that the actions they are currently taking are absolutely disproportionate & a domestic act of terrorism against the people of the Ferguson community. A reporter was falsely arrested for trespassing...at a McDonalds, where he and a coworker were working after purchasing his meal amongst dozens of other patrons. Another (black) man was denied services and was mocked by officers for pleading for paramedic help. This transitions into my next point, to note especially this tweet of what the officers said to him and the other patrons: I don't think I can really format the words to convey how incredibly disgusting that is. Children who relied on school/local services for food are suffering (fortunately, there is a fundraiser created by one of the local teachers to help with this), people who are disabled or require medical protection or anything of the sort are being flat out DENIED those services. There may be honest & caring police down there who are trying their best to reconcile the situation and provide aid for people, but it's not about the police as people, much as how the issues of white supremacy aren't about white people, or how issues of sexism isn't about male people -- it is about the society that has and does and will try to normalize this behavior, the society that tries to explain it away as paranoia, that racism/sexism/and whatever "ism" you throw out are a thing of the past. That is a lie that we as a country are guilty of perpetuating and acknowledging as truth, and it's one that is and long has been our inherent responsibility to tear down from the foundations on which it's been allowed to fester in. Mike Brown shouldn't have had to die to make us pause for the 173564564th time as a country to ponder "huh is oppression still alive in America" only to end up going ...lmao naaaaaaaaaaaaaah," nor should have Trayvon Martin or the millions of minority/female/queer/disabled people assaulted and/or killed in our local areas on a daily basis only to receive two seconds of acknowledgement before the local news goes right back to healthy eating of the day and the national news doesn't even bat an eye. Also, on the tear gas, a protestor was actually pictured throwing a canister back at police after they threw it into the group: Notice the American flag styled shirt; an image that truly speaks a thousand words, and the power holders in Ferguson aren't hearing a single letter of it.
I HAD SOME TODAY and they were just as shamefully good as ever
I'm getting so excited for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, even though P3 and especially P4 are getting milked to hell and back, it's nice and exciting to see Atlus potentially bring a tie in for all the Persona games PLUS PLAYABLE RISE & THE TRASH KING OF INABA'S GARBAGE LADEN RETURN Likely yes because that's still intent to cause harm to someone else
looks like his purple name is too
I've never played any of the Silent Hill games or Metal Gear (yet), but Guillermo del Toro is my DUDE and I will definitely keep an eye on this. Pan's Labryinth was pretty freaky when I first watched it, so I have faith that these two will be able to pull something pretty good off.
if it's any consolation i burped like 12 times last night while talking to my friend in skype. she burped just as much so it was cool.
LINE is free and pretty good; let's you have group messages, do calls (might be limited to voice tho, I've never tried it out), and isn't much of a battery hog.
I haven't beaten Remember Me yet, but I'm having a pretty good time with it and you can consider my interest piqued in this one. The episodic route is pretty interesting; I'm guessing after all the chapters are out they'll probably do a compilation or something like that, so I'll probably wait until then to pick it up. Though I'm glad and pretty excited that Square is doing a new IP for consoles, especially with the help of the Remember Me team.
goooooood this booooook Spoiler: Episode 10 bosco has been avenged Airbending when used for violence is brutal. At least Fire, Water, and Earth all have some limitations to them (abundance of their element, climate conditions, etc.), but really the only thing keeping an Airbender from going to town looks like it's only their cultural teachings and how much they want to stick to that. We got hints Airbenders have broken this before -- Yangchen secured a war-free world for her Avatar era and all Kuruk's, Gyatso had a trail of corpses leading up to his body, and Aang (albeit, distraught due to Appa's kidnapping in Book 2), slayed a buzzer that tried stealing Momo. On other parts of the episode, KORRASAMI DESERT ADVENTURE WAS GREAAAAAAAAAAT. I loved that Asami finally got some time to shine since Book One, and everyone took the time to appreciate what she did & how valuable she was. This is how the nonbending character should be utilized, especially one with as engineering/inventive a mind as Asami in what amounts to the Industrial Age of the Avatarverse. Korra was also really good here. I think they've finally reached a healthy balance of her character's aggression & using that in a productive manner. This has been something that's been happening all throughout B3, but still something to note. Also I love that they all worked together, they make a cute little team. The Dai Li got wrecked in what was possibly record timing, which I felt served to show how credible a threat the Red Lotus really is. Ghazan tearing down the wall was both beautiful just from a pure animation standpoint and was plain BADASS to boot. I'm happy that the Wall is gone as it has been probably the symbol of the classist oppression in Ba Sing Se since...forever really, but the rioting and pillaging happening now isn't something to be ecstatic about in the least, and I'm sorta worried about Mako/Bolin's family and how they'll be fairing in that mess. Lin was gold and that shot of her/Tonraq/Zuko at the table was hilarious. Bolin talking to Ghazan and Ming Hua was great. And I mean plus I got a scene of Asami looking smug while Korra was all tied up that looked like a straight up bondage scene SO VERY GOOD EPISODE FOR ME.

A Sci-Fi action RPG, you take control of Red, a singer who inadvertently ends up in possession of an intelligent, high powered sword known as the Transistor. With assassins out to get her and reclaim the sword, Red is thrust into the action and must discover the secrets behind her assailants, the Transistor, and the very city itself. Today, join me, @Plums, as I play through Transistor! The stream will begin at 1:00 PM EST (GMT-5). This is later than I had initially planned, but as a few sudden things came up this morning, I had to change up my schedule just a bit. For those of you who, like me, are puzzled by timezones, the stream will begin in roughly one and a half hours. I will probably stream for a couple hours, and will try to give a good ~preview~ of the game for those who haven't got it yet (it's excellent). The stream will be hosted over our Twitch channel: KHVidsNet Additionally, we are collecting donations for site mods and future event prizes! If you wish to donate either now or during the stream, please press the "Donate" button on the KH-Vids homepage, located beneath our 'Affiliates' section.
