I am not going to lie, I lol'd when I read the part about people who are friends with staff getting special privileges. Take it from someone who has been on both sides of the matter, this is NOT true. No way in hell is there special treatment, this has been something people have been claiming for a long time now, though I find it funny that the ones who say it always look at the matter from a one sided point of view. CtR has basically said it all as far as your suggestion goes.
