You and me baby aint nothin but mammals So lets do it like they do on the Discovery Channel Gettin' horny now~
The only thing I disagree on is not letting owners of places decide if they allow smoking or not, such as in bars and specialized restaurants. I can understand why not in a majority of restaurants and don't really care, but I think the right to have a 'smoking' bar versus a 'not smoking' bar should be up to the owners and that's the way it goes. In New York, they took out smoking from all bars and I think it's ridiculous, as instead the owners should have the right to say what their stance is on smoking and the other people should just deal. It's a business meant for entertainment and the owners can decide everything else but that apparently. Now smokers go out onto the streets and then nonsmokers gripe at them for also smoking on the sidewalks because it's dirtying up the air blah blah. I don't like smoking, but the point to me is that if an owner of a bar smokes or doesn't care, and the workers don't care or smoke, then I don't see why the patrons who go can't either and it should just be labeled as a 'smoking' bar. Then nonsmokers can decide whether they go or not. On the same note that it's rude to smoke in a restaurant or public area where 'nonsmokers' are prevalent and kids are around, I think it's rude of non-smokers to go to smoking areas and tell those people to stop it because the nonsmokers want to lurk there. Other than that though, I think the smoking rules are fine here in New York and going to restaurants and public places is nicer now.
This is not the Spam Zone. Topics, as long as you can contribute, can be brought back up rather than making a new thread here. As long as you add something worthy to the thread, the rule on 'necrobumping' is non-existent.
I suppose sometimes I could wish I were born in a 'simpler' time but in the end when I look at the times individually, there were things going on then that I'd rather be glad I missed too. i.e. In the past there was less equality of gender, ethnics, acceptance of gays, tolerating of religious views etc. It's still not perfect and I feel there's a long way to go but it's better now than it was as more of us become more aware and we genuinely care. I do like things like some older mopar cars and the music of the past, expressions people had and such but I can have those today, and having them makes me feel more connected to things and also I get something unique. Computer issues can be a problem but at the same time, growing up, it was never so easy to communicate with someone from another country as it is now. We can actually deliberate with people of other countries, ask about their leaders, cultures etc and learn far more than people could ever before. Yes, we meet some idiots as well from other places but we generally have the convenience of being able to delete lame spam mail and ignoring users who are asswipes. Texting and cell phones everywhere can also be kind of annoying. I'm 26 so I grew up before it was a big deal and it can seem so rude that some people will be on the phone or texting all the time everywhere, to include when you are trying to talk to them. It's like some people have given up talking to people face to face for this more fake interaction or assume I'm going to just stand around and wait for them to get done with something else while I'm bored. It's like texting someone can't wait when real life is going on around the person. In the end though, I guess I'm happier to be here in this time though I would love the chance to have been able to live in other various times just to see what it was like for people of the past since I love history and anthropology. This time enables me to be able to explore readily other times and also be a part of the future and to try to make a difference and also I really do love the fact we don't have to mail people in other countries and states to have 'penpals' when online you can actually make true friends. So, though I can ponder the notion, it's all good, because no time is going to be perfect.
Trixter, is that Deadpool? It kind of looks like him in your sig and avatar though different.
Tsukasa has an outrageous French accent.
All I wanna do, is have some fun till the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard.
I kind of do both things. I try to live life to the fullest, do different things and have fun. I enjoy martial arts and also doing different things like water skiing, sky diving and roaming around. Can't say other than Martial Arts and Fencing, that I really have an exercise plan laid out because I don't need to. I also like to eat various foods, whether 'healthy' or not. In the end, people vary on what a healthy lifestyle is anyway. I don't do drugs or drink a lot. But I do like to drink now and then with friends and hang out at bars. I like that occasional slice or two of cake or pie (ok, sometimes even half the thing) or the candy bar I pick up now and then. I love steak..mhmm. Life isn't worth living if you can't have some side enjoyments that only mess you up if you do them in bountiful amounts. Also, sex is actually -healthy- for you, whether male or female. So I do not consider it on my list of unhealthy things to do so long as I wrap it before I tap it and I am with a steady person each time and know who that person is. As with everything else, moderation and not being stupid is a good thing. So, really, a healthy and happy lifestyle I think can be achieved so long as people know to do things in moderation. Stress will kill you faster than many things people label as 'unhealthy' for you anyway. Not enjoying life and trying out new things leads to stagnation and depression as well, which aren't going to make a person have a meaningful existence. There is very little in life that you cannot do in moderation with the results of being in trouble and shortening your lifespan. I thus choose a combo of both answers since 'healthy' and 'unhealthy' is left up to the person to decide and I do not consider some things I do as wearing down the life-o-meter any faster than if I did not do them.
He looks like he was hit in the head with the ball and took his shirt off to throw a fit. Either that or he could not dodge a wrench. Either way, he's out and should be sitting at the sidelines. What a wussy.
Yeah really.. not the Miele.
I have jury duty till hopefully friday so I will be getting to the countdown this weekend most likely, which will be a large one to catch up.
Good ol' Captain Planet. Gaia was kinda hot even if she couldn't seemingly do so much.
Mycenia, this is your last warning to stop the trolling and stupidity. If you do not want to read what is said, do -not- do it. You have no right to bash like this. Enough is enough. Please, others, if this person or others bash in threads like this, PM me or another staff member so we can get rid of it pronto. Do not feel you have to respond and feed the flamer. Thanks~.
Those were great, Cin. They should show that in schools to kids to help them remember. xD
Now I'm trying to figure out which tier I'm in. It's kind of a combo. lol
What is your favorite color? What are you watching in the dark? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Can I count to 4 when tossing a holy hand grenade if I skip 3? Why does Wonder Bread taste like crap and the only cool thing about it is that you can roll it into a tiny little ball? What is your favorite school subject and why? Your favorite hero of all time? Your favorite villain of all time? Alright, I'll interrogate you more later, oh purple one.
No problem. Welcome back. :)
Oh, evil day. :( You work as much as I do right now. Hope the break is good for you and sorry for the bit of a mess up confusion there. Be well, DP.
Welp he's gone now. xD
Some trolls are more inventive than others. That's for sure.
