I can't really see it being a world on its own, unless they make it from "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" instead of Toy Story (which could totally work too). If they put it as Toy Story, I can see it being like Space Paranoids and Timeless River: a world within a world. SHOW US! SHOW US!

I didn't change my keyblade until Monstro in KH1, cause I had no idea what I was doing. Luckily, I knew the game system enough by KHII to get all the no abilities no sweat.

I don't see any kind of similarity here. Not even the color scheme as people have been suggesting. Only the white room and Sora's pod chamber hold any kind of connection, and they were the rooms created for Namine's work.
