Well, Jeffrey thought, Sora certainly is more... carefree now. He walked slowly towards Riku.
"I was heading there myself," Jeffrey told them, "but then I heard you guys." He pointed to his backpack. "I was gonna try to find more supplies, but I guess I won't get much from a candy shop, will I?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Jeffrey replied, running up to the trio. "I haven't run into any Heartless yet, for some reason. But I haven't found any other survivors either..." He frowned, but then looked back up and held out his hand. "I'm Jeffrey, by the way."
Jeffrey could hear voices. He knew he should probably find supplies first, but meeting other survivors felt more fulfilling. He ran towards the source of the voices and gasped as he saw who was standing there: none other than Sora, Riku, and Kairi! Well, I guess this was inevitable... he thought. "Hey!" he shouted towards them.
A bright light caught Jeffrey's eye. "A shooting star?" he wondered. "Can't be. If it was, it wouldn't be moving so slowly... What could it be?" He looked forward and could barely see the outline of a building through the trees. "Well, I could at least see if there's any food there. If not, there could be something I could use as a weapon. I'm lucky I haven't run into any Heartless as it is." He brushed the dirt off of his red t-shirt and blue jeans, and started to run towards the building.
Jeffrey felt his stomach rumble. "I guess I should eat." He frowned. "But do I have any food left?" He unzipped his black backpack and pulled out whatever he could find. All he had left was an apple and a bag of chips. He poured some water from a bottle onto the apple and took a bite out of it. The juice was as sweet as any apple's, but in this situation, it felt so much sweeter. He quickly ate the apple and dropped the core onto the ground. "I'll save these for later," he said, putting the chips back into his bag. He pulled back over his shoulders, and set off. "I better find a store so I can get more food."
OOC: You guys could have started whenever you wanted. xD BIC: Jeffrey rested himself against the tall trunk of an oak tree. Am I finally here? he thought. Since there were little to no people left on the Earth, he had to travel to the closest place he knew there was still someone. Since the phone lines were still up for a short time after the Heartless and Nobodies attacked, he knew his friends Valerie and Eden were still alive. However, he decided to head to where Eden lived, since it was easier to go north, following the North Star, than south. Since he was still too young to drive, or even have taken driver's ed, he had to walk to his destination. Well, he thought, at least I can say I got my exercise for a while. He let out a small laugh.
It's sadly been dead for a while, and by a while, I mean over a year, so we decided to reboot it! The heart moon, Kingdom Hearts, has suddenly appeared on Earth. It has been overrun by the Heartless and the Nobodies. Sora, Riku, and Kairi have come to help fend them off, but they're not enough on their own. The majority of people on Earth have all had their hearts stolen. The remaining ones are left to fend for themselves. You are one of those few.
