Season 1 is pretty okay. I haven't seen it in a while though
Season 2 is a bit better. The problem with both of these seasons is that it's trying to do too much with each season. The ghosts are really cool, but they went nowhere with the Antichrist plotline, and the same can be said with them trying to put aliens in insane asylum-type horror.

Season 3 is the best in my opinion. They really found their footing with the storytelling and created a very fun mythology.

So, at the university campus, there's a Taco Bell at the food court. I would go there just about every day when I had class because it was cheap and I really like how the food tastes. Now, when you have something over and over again, you tend to get kind of sick of it. That happened to me.

Now, it's summer vacation and there's no food at home. The closest restaurant is a McDonald's, which is a half-mile away. And I'm craving Taco Bell!

I'll never take you for granted again Taco Bell!

I had a film appreciation class about a year ago. I knew the teacher before hand because I took his script writing class, and since that class was a small group, we got to know each other very well. For people who don't like examining the deeper meanings of stories, this was as difficult class. So, yeah, the majority of my classmates didn't enjoy it. We wrote papers on movies, and on one I wrote for The Social Network, I got a comment from him that basically said "This is good, but I know you can do better". Maybe a backhanded compliment, but I took it as complement none the less.

Anyway, I turned in my final on the last day of class, a thorough examination of The Silence of the Lambs. This was going to be my last class ever of that year, and I would be moving later on, so I wouldn't be back at that school. This guy was so freaking influential on me, much more than most teachers have been. The first guy that left gave him a hug, and he said that's never happened to him before. Me, I gave him a handshake (I regret not giving him a hug). He was still taken back by it, and it looked like he was going to get emotional.

Picking up with Hannibal and Bates Motel, NBC has recently released the first half of their adaption of Rosemary's Baby. This miniseries will be four hours long, split into two two-hour blocks. The first half, Night 1, was released last night and Night 2 will be released on Thursday, May 15.

The miniseries is an adaption of the novels Rosemary's Baby and Son of Rosemary by Ira Levin. It stars Zoe Saldana as Rosemary Woodhouse and Patrick J. Adams as Guy Woodhouse.

I had watched the original film some time ago, but I have to confess that I wasn't paying too much attention to it. I'm also not one of those people who are bugged by the idea of a remake. If they can do something different or bring a brand new view, I'm fine with it. Watching the first half, it seems clear that they are not trying to copy the original Polanski film (I have not read either novels though, so I can't say what it's like as an adaptation).

This first half just felt...very average. The acting was okay, and there were some good moments of atmosphere. And it's really an ambitious show for the kind of network NBC is. However, this first half did have moments of padding that felt unnecessary. I mean, what it ends on made me think "Oh, we're just getting to that now? Well, that's no good."

What do you guys think? Again, I think it's just average so far.

There was a young man from Nantucket
Who had such a large cock he could suck it.
    He looked in the glass
    And saw his own arse
And broke his neck trying to **** it.

I love the part where he goes in for a kiss, but she takes the chicken instead. I was thinking "Good. Good."

Dude,I would say that it's perfectly natural. They're just fantasies, and you need to remember that you're also fairly young still. Hormones are a big player in this, and they can drive you crazy. And I know where you're coming from. There have been a lot of times where I'm with a girl whose a friend and then I get a sudden flash in my head of us getting close, kissing, and other stuff that I don't feel I should mention. And, sometimes I would feel weird about it; like, do I see this person really as a friend or as am I hanging with them to be a potential girlfriend. It's just how the body works, and you can't really fight that.

No, you're not scummy for thinking about that stuff though. It's perfectly natural, and I'm sure it's happened to everyone before.

I'm not talking about that part. I was trying to keep my post short since I had originally written paragraphs going into what I though. I didn't mean him falling into the vat was his own fault; what I meant was the fact that his odd obsession is what drove him mad and that he didn't stand up for himself was what made him mentally weak.l

I liked Max when he first came on screen because of his interaction with Spider-man. He was star struck and out of the all the people there, he was the one that he saved, which makes him special. I especially love his reaction when to when Spider-man says "I need you. You're my eyes and ears". That's a spark of joy that really made me feel for the character.

However, when they showed him in his apartment, it just didn't sit well with me. You're supposed to get that Max is this shlub who has no friends, and you feel bad for him because he's singing "Happy Birthday" to himself. On paper, that would work very well. I just don't feel that the movie didn't capture the right mood for that. When he was talking to the Spider-man picture, it was creepy and didn't sit well with me.

When he felt into that vat, I wasn't going "Oh no!", I was thinking "Well, time to get to Electro". All that being said, I really loved where he's at Time Square. When he was talking with Spidy, he wasn't Max the Yandere (the only word I can think of to describe him), he was Max who was saved by his hero. All of it came together; the music, the dialogue, motivation, everything. Everything after that though...it just didn't sit well with me.

While The Amazing Spider-man series was simply created so Sony could keep the rights, that doesn't mean that some good doesn't come out of it. I saw TASM2 and I really enjoyed the hell out of it, and that takes play into what I like about both series as a whole. Prior to these movies, the only experience I have with this character is the 90's cartoon, so I'm not someone whose going to be "this is what Spider-man should be like blah blah blah".

I like Peter in Rami's trilogy because I feel he better understands what it means to be a hero, and he clearly lives with the consequences of his actions. Spider-man himself I like better in TASM because he's just a better hero; he helps out the people of the city, and really plays into the idea of "hope" that's spoken through a lot in the second film. I also like Gwen Stacy a lot better than Mary Jane. Gwen, while sometimes a damsel in distress, plays an active part in all of the action, and is a great foundation for Peter to be grounded on.

The enemies in Rami's trilogy I feel are a lot more fleshed out. You clearly see some of these people being well intentioned, which makes them sympathetic later on. I'm sorry, but I didn't care for The Lizard in TASM, and the sequel is not really all that different. The Rhino is a cameo at best and Harry Osborne is just dull and whiny (which sucks because the actor for the role could've done so much more if the script had given him so much more). It seemed that they tried to make Electo sympathetic, which really works when you first see him. However, all the sympathy is lost when you go into his apartment and see that all the bad things that happened to him are sort of his own fault. Instead of trying to find a way to stand out, he hides in his room where he allows his delusions to run wild. It's really sad because they set up what could've been a great character.
