This thread made me lol
lol It's funny because only like 2 or 3 people have mentioned Northern Ireland in this thread even though hundreds, if not thousands, of people have died (and are still dying) to make the distinction between Ireland and Northern Ireland =/ Also, England sucks. Wales sucks because it doesn't try to be more separate from England and Scotland sucks because it tries to be too separate from the UK. Also, the word flashlight is gay and this comes from a gay man. I know what I'm talking about.
Lol Prohibiton just creates a black market trade which is completely unregulated. A black market is far worse than a legal market in every possible sense. It is worse for the actual health of the nation and doesn't contribute at all to tax revenues. Also, a 21 age limit on alcohol is an utter insult to 18 year olds. You are saying that they can have a family, vote and join the army but aren't allowed to drink alcohol? What kind of a sick twisted person are you? All of those things require much more judgement than drinking alcohol does.
Everyone is different, as is everyone's idea of a good time. As for alcohol (and most things) it is great in moderation. It's your job to decide how much is too much.
Any time I have seen American politics the only way candidates can make headway is if they state their religious beliefs. It seems to be that in America the only way to be accepted is if you belief in at least one god. Any less and you are shunned >_>
Why did no-one else comment on this? I actually thought that someone had necro-bumped a thread by the real Roxas, but no someone somehow managed to ninja his name. You suck, go die in a fire you jerk.
You are supposed to sleep with "football" guys, not dress up as them for Hallowe'en. Unless you are planning on stripping them, dressing in their clothes for Hallowe'en, then riding them when you get back =/
The fact that the American population would not even consider voting for a candidate if they were atheist shows just how much religion is already entrenched in American politics. I suppose it is also the same in British politics, although it is not as obvious. In my mind the sooner religion gets the fuck out of politics, the better.
It never was. This is one of the main fallacies of American people when they belief that they are a Christian nation. It may be slightly true if you believe that morals can only come from religion but I see humanity as being intelligent and decent enough to realise the importance of morals on their own.
An excess of water can cause you to die. Water poisoning occurs when you consume so much water in such a short space of time that your brain swells up and you die.
I broke up with him today and he said that he saw it coming. But I said that I want to stay friends at the very least =] He also said that it's...
. .
What everyone else said. Also, it takes energy to digest food at the best of times so through just your body digesting your food you would loose weight. Nevermind the blood loss and energy loss dues to healing and immune function.
I've switched back to FunKy because I need my eyes for university kthnx
The fact that you were talking to an army recruiter is bad enough. Army is for ****.
I've already changed back to the old one. The new one hurt my eyes in too many ways. However, I think that people will adjust their fonts to the new skin and it will eventually become possible to view again. lol
Yeah, happy stuff etc and all that shite. That sounds a lot more nasty and uncaring when I read it than it did in my head ._. HAPPY BIRTHDAY M8
Is it just me or are FunKy 2.0 and 3.73 exactly the same?
That post that you are quoting doesn't make much sense ._. Although, I hope my post before deals with what has been raised in that post.
People choose to drink alcohol. If they choose to drink alcohol in the first place then they should also realise that they have to deal with the consequences of drinking alcohol. Alcohol should not be banned just because some people are idiots. It is the minority that cannot handle the effects of alcohol (or cannot handle the amount that they drink). They are the ones that should be punished/helped. The wider population who manage their drinking quite well should not have to face the consequences of the actions of those those who don't have enough self control. After typing all of that I have realised that CtR has said basically the same thing, but the point still stands. (I have also had to deal with the consequences of drinking too much. I tried to kill myself one time because of what I did while drinking. That was not a happy time in my life but I have learned from my mistakes)
