Been watching all the trailers, and to me my favorite characters are already Cloud, Squall, Lightning, and Y'Shtola (i butchered the name I know). I never used anyone but Cloud in the other Dissidia games, but man oh man, this reboot makes everyone look sweet.

It's just like Capcom removing Rainbow Mika's butt slap in her Critical Art. Or censoring Cammy's camel toe (which admittedly was in poor taste anyway). Though at this point R. Mika, Laura, Chun-Li, and Cammy may as well go through breast reductions too, based on how silly the complaints about Mika were. How is it that the west can't handle stuff like this? I mean I don't DROOL over Mika's butt or anything, but I have no problem with it. It's just a spank on herself as a part of her wrestling gimmick :v
Sincerely happy about this inclusion. Really. Cloud is iconic, and he was also supposedly Iwata's favorite Final Fantasy character. As Cloud is not the Smash Ballot Winner (I'm sure they'd have said something if he was), the only logical explanation is that Sakurai planned Cloud as soon as Iwata passed. He likely did it to honor Iwata, who I'm sure would have been ecstatic to see his favorite Final Fantasy Character in a Nintendo game.
