Ripple Drive - it's a good crowd control finisher. Especially useful if you're being surrounded in the Coliseum to keep enemies off you. Stun Impact - I like this one, but it can be very cheap. Literally a shoe-in to stop most bosses in their tracks while you wail on them, even if only for a few seconds.
That there won't be much incentive to re-visit worlds. In KHII, the whole visiting-each-world-twice thing just felt really short and was over and done with really quickly. I would like more things to do in each world. I know I have said something similar in another topic, but I would like for each world to have a shop of sorts where you can get unique weapons/armour/upgrades or take on missions specific to that world.
I haven't played X-COM or Fire Emblem before, and honestly I'm not likely to ever play them. I've tried and failed to get into so many others in the genre before that it's honestly dissuaded me from any kind of tactical game, no matter how good it may look. It's just not for me.
Yeah I do actually play them on occasion. Forgot all about it. :X In my experience I've never come across vitamins that often in the games, or if I have they just usually sit in my items unused. I prefer just training Pokes naturally rather than use stat boosts or rare candies.
Wow. Shows how much attention I pay then! I can't believe how much better this looks compared to the PSP version. Whenever there's new HD screenshots posted, the staff should include the originals just so I can swoon even more in comparison.
^ Exactly this. I played around with paradigms often but it was mostly; Lightning - Ravager/Sentinel Hope - Medic/Synergist Fang - Commando
My first FF was VII when I first got a PS for Xmas but I was way too young for anything that wasn't cartoony/kiddy games (don't think my parents knew anything about it). I couldn't play it at all and my parents ended up returning it. Then years later I got X. I've played VII, VIII, IX, X & X-2 before KH came out.
O hey old person! I remember you, not sure if you'll remember me (Lithium) but uh we talked a few times and both mutually agreed that Fiona from Haunting Ground is a twat. :U Nice to see old members coming back anyhow. ;D
In all honesty, I can't even think of any RPGs that I play that give perm stat boosts besides KH or the Tales of series. I use them anyway, though it never feels like it makes a difference in the Tales games so. :/
Sux man. I literally never get rid of my games. I'm a hoarder. Even if I don't play it, it's there. I think I own one game which is considered "rare" - Thousand Arms for PS. I've seen it go for a few hunnit $$$ on eBay so I might sell it at some point.
He used to frequent this site as a teen but has since moved on to 4chan? Wow that's such a step up.
Lights >>>>>> Owl City
Shit for real? I still have my Wii stashed somewhere too. :X Never got around to playing PN03 but thems some nice gfx.
explodes - Kasabian
Kinda saddened that no one has mentioned RE0 or REmake. They still look gorgeous on that system.
Vocals and lyrics are a big defining factor for me. I'm the type of person who looks past the beat in the background in order to really pay attention to the lyrics. I like to analyse them. It's hard for me to describe what I look for in vocals given that I listen to a lot of bands with a mix of clean/unclean vox. I guess I like someone who can actually do the unclean thing properly and doesn't just sound whiney / like they're straining themselves / like squealing pigs. Also am a sucker for guys who sound like girls when they're singing noh8.
Ah well, glad at least some people voted for Murdered: Soul Suspect. It looks so unique and different to games I usually play. Also this topic reminded me to pre-order it in time for this coming Friday so I'm guaranteed the special edition. >_>
Tactical/SRPGs. Which is sad because developers seem to be going in that direction a lot these days. I can literally see a game, think "wow this looks awse", be hype for it, find out it's a tactical role-playing game then I'm like NOAP. First person dungeon crawlers are annoying too. Especially when battles involve static images of enemies and all of your attacks are just slashes against some portrait. Not even seeing your party members doing anything just strikes me as lazy tbh. I guess I'm just spoiled with Tales of... and KH games' battle set-up where freedom of movement and choice to do as you like is a big thing.
Get up on the Hydra's HD back! Also wait what is this about there not being two of Kairi anymore? I saw someone mention it on GFaqs but have never actually noticed anything like this before. Alsoalso lovely of them to once again confirm that it is definitely being released in 2014 with no actual tentative release date. Yup. Thx Squeenix I'm being excited.
I love music with lots of screaming and people usually get on my ass about it but I'm just like waheva.
