almost everything i wanted to say was already listed... but you should definitely watch Jin-Roh, Summer Wars, and Wolf Children. All 3 of them are great! Perfect Blue and Sword of the Stranger are a must. now the ones i wanted to recommend that haven't been already are Appleseed and its sequel, Appleseed Ex Machina. There is a third movie coming out on BD later this month as well which I am super excited for. i'll warn you though, Appleseed is CGI. the first movie has the best artstyle imo because of the cel-shaded look that Ex Machina abandoned for whatever dumb reason. still good tho. i lied i remembered some: karas: the revelation the sky crawlers patlabor 1 and 2 steamboy blood: the last vampire ocean waves millennium actress origin: spirits of the past nitaboh sky blue vexille all of these are at least decent and worth watchin'
i hate that tumblr has trivialized 'triggers' to the point where it gets mocked and laughed at. trigger warnings were made for people who would see something and it would trigger the memory of a traumatic experience. you know. like rape. or anything like that. that's fine. that's reasonable. but if you're walking around demanding people tag stuff like tw: spiders, tw: turtleneck sweaters, tw: batman then **** you. you're lame and part of the problem.
