To say that Kel was confused as to why he had, again, been singled out was an understatement. It was almost as if there was a higher power at work behind it, something beyond his understanding. Almost as if it was Blackest Magic. That aside, the confusion had from the moment Kocoum had pointed him up until he had explained why. His words had managed to strike a nerve, but on a different level then the one struck by Ratcliffe. "I'm not going to pretend that I understand the kind of suffering that you've been through, but you shouldn't assume that because of my skin. I've gone through my own share of suffering." His fist may have loosened, but the anger that laced his words had remained, anger that was meant for the man who had already left with his men.
Upgrading Ruin to Ruinra and Aero to Aerora (Since those are the only two spells I have not at Tier 2) And another AP Boost
There had been a grand total of one dog left and it was because of that Arthur had had the brilliant idea to get a little fancy with his next shot. First he made sure that he was still range of it (if he wasn't, he would move to whichever square got him just within the range of the hound), twirled his gun around his finger and fired off a shot form behind his back. His aim had been true and struck its mark, if his mark was the foot of the hound. Still Arthur was more focused on the fact that the attack had still hit and thus was feeling quite proud of himself. Attack Roll - 11 (+5) = 16 Damage Roll = The almighty 1
The number of heartless had thinned out significantly compared to when they had started, partially thanks to Boreas and Torrin doing away with chunk after chunk of heartless. With the last group that had remained before them, Chrono went forth and deal a heavy blow with his keyblade. The blow failed the fell the heartless scourge, but they were noticeably weaken as a result. Seeing this, he followed suit with another attack to do away with the rest of them. Five consecutive strikes and they were gone, fading into wisps of darkness like all heartless tended to do. Chrono felt relief at this, more so due to seeing the green glow around Take from the corner of his eyes. That attack he'd taken for them looked liked it hurt prior. "How you holding up there?" He found himself asking his friend. Chrono used Vicinity Break HP: 64/85 AP: 46/54 +10 MP: 7/30 DP: 3/3 Heartless defeated: 5 Darkballs (1 va Combo Plus)
Odd, he was hearing voices. None of which he'd recognized for that matter, which made that fact that he was hearing them all the stranger. Was he kidnapped or something? Thinking on it he didn't see a single reason as to why someone would want to kidnap him, in fact for that matter he couldn't recall anything about himself in general. That was concerning, like very concerning and his eyes opened to finally check his surroundings. A cell, not helping prove against the whole kidnapping idea of his, three other people were in here with him as well. Two girls and another guy. The latter was soaking wet for some odd reason. Perhaps it was a failed attempt at getting away from their assumed captors that lead to it. Gale stuck to the assumption that they were kidnapped as well. The girl that was awake had asked if anyone could lift her. "I could try." More information would be much appreciated here. First Gale got to his feet, then he walked over to the girl in question and crouched down so that she could get on his shoulders. "So..." Gale started, seemingly absentmindedly. Honestly he wasn't sure how to continue with this statement and yet the rest of it just came out anyway. "were you guys kidnapped as well?"
"A little too cautious if you ask me." Zephyr felt that enough of his strength had returned, least enough for him to be able to stand. He slowly pushed himself off of the table and onto his feet. His landing was a little rocky, rather wobbly, but having found his center soon Zephyr was standing straight up. Midarah may have given them the option, however Zephyr had already had his mind made up on what he wanted to do. "I do, we owe it to them to help."
» Username: CrownMoksha » Character Name: Gale Hawkens » Gender: Male » Sexuality: Straight » Age: 19 » Appearance: Oro » Personality: Straightforward and honest. Gale has no problems when it comes down to talking to people, but can get a little self conscious about his tendency to pick up on a game easier than others and withdraw himself from a conversation. Otherwise that same tendency is a source of confidence when he's gaming. » Starting Element: Fire » Short Backstory: Whether it be an escape or a way to cope, video games have always been there for Gale which in turn allowed him to be quite skilled at them. The flip side of this however is that it brought about a stigma with him that haunted him throughout his middle school years. During that period Gale had avoided picking up any new games in an effort to lessen the scornful glares that he had gotten from some of his peers. It served to be a decent temporary solution, but the lingering flame remained a lit and could only be quelled by games. Now in his highschool years, the game that everyone was talking about was Paragon, which greatly held his interest. Although he was hesitant at first, he decided to pick it up once he'd saved up the money for it. » Main Theme: They see me rollin » Battle Theme: They hatin
During the onslaught of attacks from the heartless, three darkballs in particular had evidently made it their goal to single out Chrono in particular and collided into the keyblade wielder. One crashing into him was painful enough, but three at once packed one hell of a punch. Finding himself knocked onto his back, Chrono quick scrambled back to his feet and swatted away one of the darkballs lingering around him. In this time another one had bite him right on his shoulder, in which he clenched his teeth in pained, but stabbed his keyblade into the heartless. The last one itself had been struck down during its next attack. His fighting had grabbed the attention of a small group of neoshadows and Chrono did not want to deal with them right now. His keyblade was aimed right now them and he cast judgement upon them all. Zephyr hadn't been expecting Midarah to walk in like she had, but it made things easier. "Yeah, its about the incident with the magic council." He'd glanced back at Thea before continuing. "I don't know how much you were told about, but shortly after they had arrived they had made it a point to apprehend four of the people who had helped us. Three because they were 'helping' the mayor and the other because this could've been a 'ploy' of hers." He managed to have enough strength to make air quotes at least, probably meant he could at the very least walk as well. "I don't agree with this so called 'investigation' of theirs. They only did what they had too at the time."

Zephyr nodded at Cera as slowly sat up. By the time he was completely upright, he'd placed both his hands on his lap and sat there for a bit. "It wasn't at first, but when you find out the mayor is sacrificing kids to a spider demon makes it so." The mayor was still missing and likely had a grudge against them for ruining his plans. It didn't mean much to him alone, but Xiyln words were still fresh in his mind. Someone was targeting the guild and the mayor might be working with them. "They did, but you weren't in trouble. They weren't mad anyone either." Granted he got the impression that Laharl was always irritated about something from the way he interacted with them. When Storm had spoken to him, Zephyr too gave him a nod. It wasn't often that he'd seen it speak to him. He then saw the way Thea was sitting and spoke once again. "I was going to speak to Midarah about them, if you want to come with."
That was good to hear. He'd assumed that burning she was feeling was similar to the pain he felt after over using his own magic. He'd made a slight movement to adjust himself, seeing as he wasn't going to be allowed to get up for the tome being. Might as well make himself comfortable while he laid here. "They're fine, no one else got hurt." Zephyr planned to see what Midarah thought about everything that had happened with the magic council, nothing about it sat right with him. Which brought him to his next point. "I did all this to myself, don't worry."
As Zephyr's body slowly regained it strength through a natural process, Cera's magic had help to speed up the process of his strength returning to him. After a while he started to stir, slowly waking up and hearing voices. Well a voice, Thea's to be exact. He had regained enough of his senses to realize who was speaking right. Though, the only thing he had clearly heard was her last question. "Yeah, she's gone." Zephyr tried sitting up and was quickly pushed back to a laying position by Cera. At least he was able to move around without feeling any pain. Not well enough to actually walk around, not if Cera could help it. He turned his head to look in Thea's direction. "How are you feeling though?"
"Sorry about that." Zephyr already tended to feel bad when someone worried about him, but Midarah was a special case. When it came to her, he hated hearing that she was worried even if it was something he had no control over. Still, all things considered it could've been much worse for them. "Alright, I'll do what I can." Zephyr said, taking a step forward. The instant he'd made that step it felt like all the strength left his body. He couldn't even stand, let alone move. "Oh crap." Zephyr realized what was happened as his vision blurred, making the last thing he saw was the ground getting closer to his face.
Chrono glanced around at everyone others had continued to step for as to volunteer to teach Mora how to use a keyblade. They were serious about this weren't they? Maybe it was just him and he just wasn't seeing a good enough reason to do so. As far as he was concerned, any obligations that they had to this world had been settled once they'd done away with the extractor's core. "You sure about this?" Truth be told he didn't see any of them as good teachers, well maybe Alder, but Cerdic on the other hand he had no faith in.
The very moment the various set of heartless eyes had appear before them, Chrono called forth his keyblade and readied himself for their attack. When the heartless had actually made their move, Thundaga had been the first spell he used and the resulting sparks of lightning left the tip of his keyblade and cut through 8 of the Blue Rhapsodies. This had grabbed the attention of the Yellow Operas who all looked towards Chrono and started charging an attack to hit him. The few attacks were easy to avoid and the rest didn't have the chance to attack as he had started cutting through them. HP: 85/85 AP: 2/54 MP: 7/30 DP: 3/3 Heartless Defeated 8 Blue Rhapsodies through Thundara 12 Yellow Operas (3 through Combo Plus) Heartless Remaining 58 Darkballs (12AP) 48 Neoshadows (16AP)
He sighed in defeat, he didn't think that the magic council would be all that flexible in listening to them. The fact that his last name sparked no reactions wasn't surprising either, but maybe it was a good thing that his father hadn't done anything to get the attention of the Magic Council. Zephyr felt a bit of surprise when Izra had smiled at him, but when that brief feeling had faded and he returned the smile. "No problem, it wouldn't have gone as well if it wasn't for you." As she was escorted away, Zephyr noted the way that Laharl spoke about Thea and it didn't take a genius to figure out to he wasn't fond of her. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind." ~We Time Skipping in this Mission~ When all was said and done, Zephyr nodded to Gavin and they got on a carriage with Thea in tow. Contrary to how he felt and the way his body was basically screaming at him to rest, he was the one that carried Thea to the carriage and back to the front door of the guild.
The magic council wasn't being the most helpful with their already late arrival and now trying to apprehend Maliel and the others. "If you can't take her word, then take ours. Maliel only did what she did because she had no choice. If she hadn't then things would've been worse for them." Zephyr then motioned to Izra. "Not to mention Izra had a large part in helping us. The way I see it, whatever 'charges' you have on them has been mitigated by what they've done to help us out." While there was some semblance of a point in his statement, he doubted that the magic council would just listen to him that easily.
His blade had struck its target and she'd left an ominous warning for them. Zephyr removed his sword once her grip had loosen on it, and gave a warning of his own, "Let them try, I'm not the only capable member our guild has." Seemingly at his limit, the flames of his making had vanished while his armor and blade chipped away as embers. His breathing was haggard, though he managed to keep standing. For the time being anyway. At the arrival of the Magic Council, Zephyr had looked in their direction. "Zephyr Siegend, Divine Rose." Truthfully he didn't see much reason to give his last name, but the off chance that someone might recognize it was worth saying it. "I'm fine, we need to worry about Thea right now." There was pain with each step he took, but he made his way over to Thea regardless of the pain. He took one more look at the magic council, then turn his attention back to Thea to give her a drop of the an antidote.
