I use that all the time. I think I did it in my Cloud sig too.
I know it's not that good. I'm still a newb at this. Oh keyblade, I use Photoshop CS2. And the first sig was originally a mess up, so I tried to save it somehow.
I was just bored and I created these sigs. I used the same render 'cause that's the render I want once I make a perfect sig. (Which won't be for a while XD) 1st: 2nd: This was my first attempt with a c4d render. CnC please...

Keep doodling with different brushes and tools and you'll soon learn to be better at sig making. Oh, and by the way, what program are you using? Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, or any other program? Btw, the sigs are, I guess okay, for a first. :)
