That was when the lady from before asked to be shown where her bed was. He then watched Corwyn lead Ellyn down the hall to what he was the bed rooms. That was it. He guessed that he should eat before he headed to bed. He did not know when the next opportunity would be available. There was always morning, but he had planned to be leaving then. Maybe that tree is not a monster, but a guardian of this place." Aoki then went on about curses, and poisons that immunity to one doesn't transfer over to the other. "You never know. There are things out there that you have yet to see." Aoki then asked about curses and saying that they are normally hexes, dark ritual mumbo jumbo stuff, and not...poison. "Well yes and no, curses have a poison like thing to them. Poison acts on the person, normally it kills them. It is what poison is known for, while the same can not be said about curses. For example there is a curse that puts people to sleep. There is also poison that does the same thing, the only difference is one might, be forever while there a possibility for a cure with the other. Curses are sometimes used as a type of torcher. With a curse Beucette maybe able to tell if there is a curse in the fruit. It does not hurt to try it this way. It is better then the other option of someone eating the fruit. I am not saying it will work, Becuette may not be able to tell one way or another. This way we will know if she can or can not tell if there is a curse. Curse or no curse, being able to tell or not..." He began to walk around looking for footprints. It would be rather simple find the footprints from before and follow them to where they went. He then looked at aoki and said, "whatever it is there are other ways to find the answer even if Becuette can not tell us." "Curses are similar to poison, so in theory you should be able to tell if there is anything in the fruit. That said, curses are rather complicated." That was when Aoki said 'I'm not saying it's wrong, we should probably just step back from the idea that the island is cursed to begin with.' "That is why I want Beucette to check the fruit. With her dragon slayer powers it might be possible to detect the curse. If it is not a curse whatever is happening here acts like one." Aoki then said something about people. "If there are people here I get the sense they are a type of 'tribal people'. Fire is said to keep spirits and ghost away. Fire is also been said to keep curses away, so that might be the cause of the fire on the beach." Johanna then suggested she should try a fruit. "No, I rather not risk that. Curses are difficult to get rid of. Johanna if you eat the fruit you might be stuck as an animal forever. You might not be able to use magic at all. It is not worth the risk. While the cure for curses have been the same for some time, people have caught unto the cure and have changed them so they are more difficult to cure. If Beucette can not detect if there is anything in the fruit we will think of something else. There is no need to risk your life for this or your magic" Not when there was other ways, he thought. Ander's pov: View attachment 43872 The Island Expedition: This was getting interesting. First the trampolines then an elephant. After saying that the curse could turn the people to animals he thought about it more. There was the whole circus thing too and Ezekiel seemed to agree. "The way I see it there are a few possibilities this is a circus, the curse turns the people here to animals or the people here have magic to turn to animals. The thing is we have not found any evidence to say these people use magic, just look at the fire on the beach." That was when he thought some more. That was it Beucette had said something when they got there. "When we got to the island Beucette said something about the mountains, that there was something there and something might spread to the rest of the Island. Curses can spread. If there is a curse that would be a perfect spot to have it. Mountains are high so anything on there will at some point make its way down by water or some other way. Fruit has to have water to grow and having a curse go on a food is rather common. The people eat the food and at some point turn to animals. That would explain the not eating meet. They would not want to eat there own kind. It would also explain the ball court and the trampolines once they turn to animals they would need some sort of entertainment. The monsters may be people too. A similar thing was happening to the people on Galuna. Maybe they are trying to get help, but are unable to. The curse maybe on the mountains and this would draw any people away from them. Beucette do you think using your Poison Dragon Slayer powers to find out if there is anything in the fruit?" In theory this may work, but it might not. Curses were a rather tricky thing and finding traces in a fruit might be a long shot, but what did they have to lose? That was when he started looking for some fruit.

That would explain the lack of no human tracks. They keep there smarts maybe. Curses usually do not effect the brain. This very well could be a circus of some sort too." He knew lots about curses and turning someone into an animal was a rather simple one.

"fruit grow in the dirt for the most part on is sand." The fire tuned out to be not magical. "Alessia, Earth magic might be useful here. Do you think you can make (insert unit of measurement the rp uses here) long rock formation. We can use it to get the size of the birds that live here and it might give us a clue on what happened." He was taking a guess he had no clue if this would help them or not

It made sense that she would want to go there being that she picked water as one of her choices. She then went on about finding something washed up from the sea. He did not see how something from the sea could give more information then over looking the land. That was Beucette told him not to got to the mountains. Beucette then said, 'Ander buddy I know we've had our differences, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Just, whatever you do, promise me you'll stay away from the mountains, okay? All of you. There's something horrible in the mountains.' "A dragon slayer is afraid of something on a mountain? That is something new, but what do I know? It must be something big for you to say that." That was when she said something about something to spread to the rest of the Island. "What will spread? You are not making any sense." He then saw Ezekiel talking to Aoki, he was up to something, what he could not say. That was when everyone went to the peninsula and he had no choice, but to follow. He reached the beach and look at what the others found. There were two spears, and a fire pit. Who ever was here did it eat meat, but had weapons. He then looked to Aoki, when she said about magic, and the birds. "The spears maybe were used for protection, There are monsters and wildlife here so the use of them is not surprising, but leaving the on the beach is odd. Something must have been here, but the only foot prints on beach are the peacock footprints." He then looked at the sand to see if the water had did anything to the footprints. That was when Frazer said that 'Maybe the people on the island are CONTROLLING the monsters.' "It would have to be someone with powerful magic to do such a thing." The fire of course. "Fire is sometimes used to scare off things Monsters or animals."

Johanna then went on about how she could talk to the animals. Antonio then said he was on his way across the sea for An arrangement with another Kingdom That he was some sort of Royal Zoologist. Apparently on our way we past by an island that wasn't on a map before he found it. 'It was in between both of the countries, so it was impossible for anyone to have missed it in the past. Now it's my job to go with the crew.' "So you are apart of a royal family, Which one do you serve?" A Royal Zoologist he had to say that he has never thought of that before. "A Royal Zoologist? Quite a interesting profession. Evanora has some close ties to Royalty, so it does not surprise me someone from a Royal family is here." He looked to Johanna, when they went to Evtheven Cathedral she did not tell them the whole story, what was stopping her from doing it again? This time the others that came with him were stronger then they were back then so it might not matter this time around. He hope that this time she was not hiding anything, or things may happen. If Johanna wanted to go with them then there was not much he could do to stop her. That cough was a odd thing. He guessed he should not think about it to much. Johanna then went on about Dale telling her about Galuna. Johanna then asked why someone would keep an island hidden for so long?. "People do all sorts of things. Whatever the case to hide a island takes lots of magical power, so if someone was to hide a island they would have to be a rather powerful wizard. It is a wizard or some sort of technology, which is unlikely." He began to think of the last mission he was on with Johanna. If that was anything to go by then there was more to this then she let on. Antonio then went on about wanting to go now. "I hate to disagree with you, but the more we know now the better we will be able to help you. So if there is anything you wish to tell us I would suggest you do so now. Better to plain now and it to fall apart down the line then to try to come up with something on the spot. The seconds seeming like hours. Everyone seeming to be having a good time. He did not want Charlotte to miss such a big thing. She was apart of something that was bigger, so why was she wasting her time standing here? He was going to tell her that she should go off to the party. Charlotte face turned grim and she seemed distant. Then there was answer of 'it's not something so special that it needs any mentioning'. He could tell there was more to it then she was letting on. A simple I do not want to talk about it would have been fine. Instead he got this somewhat of a lie. She seemed in a hurry to avoid the subject of her childhood. That was when she said 'it appears that the magic selections are beginning. It would be best if we went now'. "You know a simple I do not want to talk about it would have been fine. I know how it is not wanting to talk about your past. Maybe we can go on a mission together if you want," he called after her. That was when he walked over to the magic is your destiny thing. He watched the ceremony there did not seem to be any strategy to the first three people picking. He began to wonder what would happen to him. Then was when Vance picked lighting magic along with two others. That was when Velien came up and picked lighting magic being the second one to choose it. He always thought that lighting would fit him, but as far as he knew only two people could pick a magic. Charlotte had gone with slayer and it was beginning to look like he was running out of options. It then come his turn at first nothing happened and he thought a giant sign that said pacifist would come at him. He stood there for a moment with nothing happening. That was when the item for lighting came to him. He was somewhat surprised by this being that two people could only pick it, but who was he to complain. Next was wind and was not as out there as lighting. At this point he had two magic, but what about the third? That was when the item of water came to him, it was the most odd one but he went with it. He walked off stage to wait and see what would happen next taking a seat by himself.

Then There was Gale, who was with the group that got captured is coming along. Then the king told her that Henry, and Griffin will be coming too. Akari will her with her knowledge of out equipment might save us if anything goes wrong with it while out there. Then the king said that Hunter was coming along. She let out a sigh. "If you think that is the best then I guess that is who is coming." That was when a man covered from head to toe showed up saying something about Titans in the walled of city. "What about Amber?" She remembered that the king had a daughter, but had said nothing about her. "Is she safe?" She hopped so, because with the king coming with them then there needed to be someone to take over if something were to happen to him. "I am ready to go when you are." He was not sure what the king was thinking. The king then said that the last group met a large group of titans along the way, and the outer wall has been compromised, so there is a chance that there are titans beyond it. How did these people get captured in a city full of titans if indeed titans were in the city. There would be cross fighting between three groups and in that way he guessed that was how they got captured. The king then said that they would be going as soon as everyone got there. There was no one person that was more important. There was just people. "I will do what is asked and get them out. I will do what is necessary." She stood by the king.
